An Atlanta ‘pastor’ is calling on black Americans to observe Lent with a “40-day fast from Target” in protest of its DEI programs ending.
Jamal Bryant is a political ideologue who cosplays as a Senior pastor every Sunday morning at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which is quite an ironic name for a church that is pro-abortion and preaches the twisted false gospel of Liberation theology.
A left-wing goat of a pastor and serial adulterer who was run out of his previous church because he could not keep his hands to himself, Bryant is known for his leftist political antics. When Roe v. Wade was recently overturned by the Supreme court, Bryant decried the decision to allow states to restrict abortion as “racist” in a baby dedication Sunday sermon. Two years ago he said he wanted to grow cannabis on his church property so that black males can farm it, using it as an evangelistic tool and as a way to teach them a skill, and then last year at an installation service for Bishop Marvin Sapp as Senior Pastor of The Chosen Vessel Cathedral, Bryant says that Jesus was ‘wrong’ and out of order for the vast majority of his life.
This past Sunday, he lamented the rollback of DEI in the federal government and in corporations “to assuage the fragility of the white male ego, saying”:
The president vowed to remove the DEI in order to make America great again, but it is really to make America prejudiced again, to make America biased again, to make America sexist again, to make America homophobic again, to make America myopic again. And because he has put this edict in line, corporations are starting to fall in line like Walmart corporations, like Facebook corporations, like Amazon corporations, like McDonald’s corporations.
Accusing Target of insulting and “spitting in the face of Black people” over these changes, he resolves:
In any 30 days, black people spend $800 million in Target… and today, I came to to announce we are going to break the spirit of white entitlement. We’re going to break the spirit of racism and sexism. The spirit is encroaching back into our community, back into our country, and back into our corporations, who are intending to take us back to the 1950s.

At this point boycotts against the discarding of DEI is like spitting into Lake Okeechobee and trying thereby to raise the water level.
Huh ... a lot of us started an indefinite "fast" from Target BECAUSE OF its policy of allowing perverts to use the wrong restroom.

And I know about forgiveness, second chances and all that jazz but Target is not getting that from me. Because their policies put the cubs in danger.

I have not been in a Target store since the males in the ladies room incidents.
I haven’t been in a Target since they announced their DEI plans. Maybe it’s time to go back and buy something.
Forgiveness does not require foolishness.
You can forgive, but that doesn’t mean you have to trust someone who has proved themselves untrustowrthy.
