It’s a finger WAG. Devon Mostert, the wife of Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert and mother of three, sounded off on the 2024 presidential election and declared backing Kamala Harris would translate to a “vote for war.” Mostert offered her two cents in a lengthy Tuesday post on Instagram Stories in which she shared clips of former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard’s speech at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally. “An attack on America is going to happen. It’s not a matter or [sic] if… it’s a matter of when. AS HEARTBREAKING AS THAT IS (and I pray every day it doesn’t)… but...

Oct 30 (Reuters) - Catastrophic flash floods that have killed at least 72 people in Spain are caused by a destructive weather system in which cold and warm air meet and produce powerful rain clouds, a pattern believed to be growing more frequent due to climate change. The phenomenon is known locally as DANA, a Spanish acronym for high-altitude isolated depression, and unlike common storms or squalls it can form independently of polar or subtropical jet streams. While experts say it will take time to analyse all the data to determine if this particular DANA was caused by climate change,...

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro is responding to former President Donald Trump's allegations of "cheating" in Pennsylvania. Trump wrote in a social media post, "Pennsylvania is cheating, and getting caught, at large scale levels rarely seen before." Shapiro responded on X, saying, "Let's remember, in 2020, Donald Trump attacked our elections over and over. "I was the Attorney General back then, and despite his bluster and rhetoric, he went 0-43 in court when he fought to make it harder to vote and then tried to overturn Pennsylvanians' votes. "He's now trying to use the same playbook to stoke chaos, but hear...

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, who is bringing a lawsuit to stop Elon Musk's $1 million voter giveaway, asked the judge overseeing the case Wednesday to "enhance its security" for an upcoming hearing in the matter. Krasner said in a new court filing Musk's post about the case on X has "triggered an avalanche of posts," including "antisemitic attacks" against the prosecutor. One account was "inviting political violence" and posted Krasner's home address, according to the filing. "These posts, which unquestionable are criminal .... and remain posted on Musk's X website today," the filing states.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied that President Joe Biden views Donald Trump’s supporters as garbage, contradicting Biden’s remarks that sent Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign into damage control. The departing president in a Zoom call with the organization Voto Latino Tuesday night said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” referencing Trump. Video of Biden’s remarks quickly went viral. Jean-Pierre Wednesday insisted, despite video evidence to the contrary, that Biden was not calling Trump supporters garbage. She referred reports to a statement on Biden’s X issued late Tuesday night in which he “clarified what...

REDDING, Calif. — The Shasta County Elections Office says it found a print issue on some ballots that is impacting the ability to efficiently process ballots. County Clerk and Registrar of Voters Tom Toller says the office has addressed the problem and pivoted their ballot processing procedures to ensure every eligible ballot is counted. He says it's unclear exactly how many of the nearly 117,000 ballots issued are affected. ... The error stems from an issue with ink overspray on some ballots which prevents election equipment from processing them, according to the Elections Office. They say it's not visible to...

CNN senior political data reporter Harry Enten said Wednesday on “CNN News Central” that former President Donald Trump may defeat Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election next week because just 28% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track. Enten said, “So look, just 28 % of Americans voters think the country is going in the right direction, is on the right track. I want to put that into historical perspective for you.” He continued, “What’s the average percentage of the public that thinks that the country is on the right track when the incumbent party...

A clumsy and time-consuming early voting option in the nation’s biggest presidential battleground state is creating frustration, leading to hours-long lines and prompting claims of disenfranchisement as voters swamp county offices that are not prepared to handle the influx. The confusion is partly a result of a Pennsylvania law passed just before the pandemic, and partly from crowds of Republican voters heeding calls by their party and former President Donald Trump to vote early. Trump’s entreaties to his supporters to cast ballots before the Nov. 5 election come after he repeatedly attacked forms of early voting in previous years. In...

In 1945, Hitler continued to deny the apparent defeat that awaited him. In a final insane attempt to turn the tide of the war and make up for the lack of soldiers old enough to go into battle, he recruited massively from among the Hitler Youth, enlisting children as young as 12 years old. These little soldiers were sent to fight battles that they had no hope of winning. Nonetheless, as a rule, they fought zealously. As the Allied troops advanced, they were shocked to discover that there were also children among the countless German prisoners. Around 10 000 of...

The ceasefire proposal between Israel and Hezbollah that the US is pushing begins with a 60-day implementation period, during which time the Lebanese army will deploy along the border and confiscate Hezbollah arms in southern Lebanon, according to a draft agreement published by Kan news. IDF forces will exit Lebanon within seven days of the end of hostilities and will be replaced by the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), with UN peacekeepers facilitating the transition. Ultimately, there will be 10,000 LAF troops along the border with Israel. At the end of the 60 days, Israel and Lebanon will hold indirect negotiations...

There is an old axiom of life - Never whiz into the wind. Things gets kind of messy when you do. In radio, that's especially true. It's possible on occasion to create an alternative narrative on a day when there's only one overarching, dominating story. But honestly, it rarely works. And if you aren't talking about the things your audience is focused on, they tune you out. Last night on the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., the left-wing of the cross making up the National Mall, with the White House as the backdrop behind her, Vice-President Kamala Harris made her last...

House investigators formally subpoenaed the Democrat donations platform ActBlue in a rapidly expanding probe into possible illicit foreign funding in the 2024 election after the Treasury Department confirmed to Congress its money laundering detection system has generated hundreds of suspicious activity reports related to the online fund-raising giant. The dramatic developments were communicated to House members and ActBlue itself in a series of memos this week obtained by Just the News that reaffirmed that lawmakers fear foreign adversaries like China, Iran, Venezuela and Russia may be routing illicit foreign money into Democratic coffers by using the names of unsuspecting American...

I said ten days ago that the final weeks of the election were likely to produce a bunch of psychotic anti-informative noise that should mostly be ignored, and that’s still my answer. We learned on The View this week that Trump is going to use his presidency to deport non-white women and then forcibly reassign their white husbands and boyfriends to white partners. We learned from Michelle Obama that Trump only has support in this election because cruel men are deliberately torturing their helpless women by voting for a mean misogynist, and the way to deal with that problem is...

In a speech at Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ Michigan rally on Saturday, former First Lady Michelle Obama urged men to vote for Vice President Harris so that the ‘women they love won’t die during childbirth.’ Obama began the abortion portion of her speech with a guilt trip, telling men they don’t love women if they don’t support abortion. “Please do not put… our lives in the hands of politicians, mostly men who have no clue or do not care what we as women are going through,” she added. Essentially, Obama is claiming that male politicians are incapable of understanding...
