House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) confirmed on Sunday that the U.S. government is now investigating the unauthorized release of these documents, which are believed to have originated from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency. Now, a senior Pentagon official has been identified as the primary suspect in a classified leak involving the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) plan to strike Iran. The American official under suspicion has been named as Ariane Tabatabai, an Iranian-American scholar of political science who currently serves as a senior policy advisor at the Pentagon.

Ariane Tabatabai, a senior staffer in the office of U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, has been identified as the source behind the recent leak of classified documents detailing Israel’s military preparations for a potential strike on Iran. According to reports, Tabatabai allegedly leaked highly sensitive information about Israeli air force exercises, missile deployments, and covert drone activities. The documents were shared on a Telegram channel and revealed Israel’s response plans following Iran’s October 1 missile attack on Israeli territories. The leaked documents, attributed to the U.S. Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency, have sparked concerns among U.S. and Israeli...

The Pentagon denied that Ariane Tabatabai, Chief of Staff of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations, is a subject of interest in the investigation for the alleged leak of classified documents pertaining to Israel's plans for a retaliatory attack against Iran. "To my knowledge, this official is not a subject of interest," said Press Secretary of the Air Force, Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder told reporters on Tuesday afternoon. Earlier Tuesday, Sky News Arabia cited a senior Pentagon official who reportedly named Tabatabai as the main suspect in the FBI's investigation into the leaks.

Ring of suspects aged 19-23, almost all Israeli citizens, marks fifth Iranian spy case revealed since September, and first to profess a desire to hurt Israel as the main motivation. Seven East Jerusalem Palestinians have been arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran and plotting attacks in Israel on the Islamic Republic’s behalf, the Israel Police and Shin Bet said Tuesday, marking the fifth such case to be revealed in just over a month and the second in as many days. The suspects, all men aged 19 to 23 from the Beit Safafa neighborhood without previous criminal or security-related records,...

Why is Kamala Harris doing worse with Black and Latino voters than previous Democratic presidential candidates? That’s the campaign topic of the week after a New York Times/Siena poll found Harris winning only 57 percent of Hispanic voters—a step down from the estimated 63 percent that Joe Biden won in 2020—and 78 percent of Black voters, 15 points less than Biden’s estimated 2020 share. In the New York Times, David Leonhardt suggested an explanation for the disparity that echoes a centrist critique we’ve heard a lot over the past few years: The problem is identity politics, particularly on the...

While residents of western Connecticut were cleaning up from deadly floods this past August, Democratic Rep. Jahana Hayes slurped down oysters, pampered herself at a pricey salon and traveled to Martha’s Vineyard and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago — spending nearly $13,000 in the process, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings show. The three-term incumbent flew to the Windy City just as her home state was hit with a severe storm on Sunday, Aug. 18, which caused more than $206 million in damages to bridges, roads, businesses and homes due to flooding, mudslides and landslides. More than 100 residents were...

The Global Assault on Religious FreedomAspiring tyrants are now brazen in their crusade against free speech. John Kerry, Tim Walz, Hillary Clinton, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Kentanji Brown Jackson, Letitia James, and their allies in academia and the media have been unequivocal in their calls to usurp the protections of the First Amendment. These threats are not hypothetical. The West has weaponized the judicial system to punish Steve Bannon, Julian Assange, Mark Steyn, Douglass Mackey, VDARE, Roger Ver, Pavel Durov, and others for their disobedience to the Washington establishment. But beyond these political persecutions, a more insidious – and far less...

(DCNF)—Journalist Mark Halperin said Tuesday that former President Donald Trump will secure victory on Nov. 5 if early voting trends hold. While Democrats maintain a significant lead in early voter turnout, Republicans have cut the gap compared to 2020, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. Halperin, on his 2WAY platform, said all the analysts he has spoken to since Monday believe Trump will win if this trend continues, as Democrats will be unable to combat Republicans’ early vote gains on Election Day. We're just two weeks away from the election, but Vice President Kamala Harris will not be on the campaign trail today. Such a move earned strong words from former and potentially future President Donald Trump. "I was going to hit her really hard on the trail today," Trump said about Harris, "but now I don't have to 'cause she's off, she's off." To laughter from the crowd, Trump continued that he "couldn't get over it." "Who the hell takes off when you have 14 days left?! And she'll take a couple of more days off, too," Trump predicted. "You know?...

The lawyer who first represented star Jan. 6 witness Cassidy Hutchinson before the Democrat-led select committee has filed a bar complaint against Liz Cheney for communicating with his client without his knowledge. The complaint to the D.C. Bar from lawyer Stefan Passantino and his attorneys at America First Legal follows a Just the News report that then-GOP Congresswoman Cheney covertly communicated with Hutchinson on the Signal app without her lawyer as the witness was planning further testimony before the Jan. 6 Select Committee. Passantino previously told Just the News he did not authorize the contacts with Cheney, vice chairwoman of...

Vice President Kamala Harris’s hometown paper, the Los Angeles Times, will not deliver a 2024 presidential endorsement. The paper’s lack of an endorsement is a slight to Harris. The Times endorsed President Joe Biden in 2020, Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Barack Obama in 2012 and 2008. The decision not to endorse Harris came from the paper’s owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shion, Semafor’s Max Tani reported Tuesday: [A]ccording to two people familiar with the situation, executive editor Terry Tang told editorial board staff earlier this month that the paper would not be endorsing a candidate in the presidential election this cycle,...

Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Wildlife officials in Florida said mysterious holes appearing along the banks of the state's freshwater rivers have been identified as the work of invasive fish. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Research Institute said on social media that the holes have "become a common sight" on the state's riverbanks. Biologists identified the holes as "catfish condos" for invasive armored sailfin catfish, also known as plecos. "These burrows serve as nesting sites where the catfish protect their eggs and young," the post said. "However, this digging behavior can cause problems for Florida's freshwater ecosystems as they...

A New York state Supreme Court ordered all New York City employees who were fired for not being vaccinated to be reinstated with back pay. The court found Monday that "being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19." New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed earlier this year that his administration would not rehire employees who had been fired over their vaccination status. NYC fired roughly 1,700 employees for being unvaccinated earlier this year after the city adopted a vaccine mandate under former Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Benavidez was at a forward operating base in Loc Ninh monitoring the operation by radio when the helicopters, who attempted the extraction, returned to off-load wounded crewmembers and to assess aircraft damage. Benavidez voluntarily boarded a returning aircraft in order to assist in another extraction attempt. Realizing that all the team members were either dead or wounded and unable to move to the pickup zone, he directed the aircraft to a nearby clearing where he jumped from the hovering helicopter and ran approximately 75 meters under heavy small arms fire to the crippled team. Prior to reaching the team's position,...

Senate Democrats attacked McDonald’s on Tuesday for price gouging while it continues to “grow” profits and serve the needs of customers. The letter, written by Sens. Ron Wyden (D-OR), Bob Casey (D-PA), and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), underscores the success of former President Donald Trump’s campaign stop on Sunday when he worked a McDonald’s drive-thru window in Pennsylvania. Images and video of the former president helping customers to McDonald’s finest foods nearly broke the internet. Many of Trump’s critics heralded the gesture as great retail politics and a stroke of political genius.

Democrats and media elites are starting to get “heartburn” over Vice President Kamala Harris’s chances of preventing former President Donald Trump from completing the greatest political comeback in modern history. With preliminary early voting trends on Tuesday indicating Republicans are outperforming Democrats in key swing states, the Harris campaign will likely hit the panic button in the coming days with increased rhetoric meant to drive turnout. The Wall Street Journal’s Tarini Parti and Alex Leary reported on the positive early voting trends for Republicans:
