A New York state Supreme Court ordered all New York City employees who were fired for not being vaccinated to be reinstated with back pay.
The court found Monday that "being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19." New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed earlier this year that his administration would not rehire employees who had been fired over their vaccination status.
NYC fired roughly 1,700 employees for being unvaccinated earlier this year after the city adopted a vaccine mandate under former Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Most of those fired were police officers and firemen.
Who may take the payout and tell them to stick the job someplace else.
Depends on how close to pension eligibility the fired person was.
Next step, Nuremberg trials for those who forced people to choose between their livelihood and taking an experimental drug.
Well, this is a nice decision but where was the NYSC’s courage three years ago when they could have put a squash on this policy. Plus the Adams administration could fight it at the NYS Court of Appeals. They are devious bastards.

Many of which have since relocated to Florida and other points south.
This is fantastic! As a former city manager, my mind went to how this ruling is absolutely going to blow up city budgets with only two months left to the fiscal year.
I want to see what happens with the US Military.
From the EVIL Project 2025; Section 4 on the Department of Defense, Personnel related:
That will be another hit to the budget, probably higher taxes to pay for gov't incompetence.
In other words, the "COVID" "vaccines" aren't vaccines. They were never effective, never safe, and never necessary, as it was never anything more than the flu, and it killed the same people that the flu always has - those with serious medical conditions, the elderly, and of course, those unfortunate enough to be subjected to the "COVID" protocols (isolate, dehydrate, ventilate).
I have noticed over the years that New York esp. adds that last phrase “to include back pay”, more than most others.
It’s weird as hell how the fascist “judges” love to spend other people’s money. The bass turds are worse than the DemonRATS.
I have no doubt someone advising him characterized it this way, and that means he still has people whispering in his ear that shouldn't be. I accept that he may not wish to be tied to the evil Heritage Foundation but honestly, I am not seeing the evil in the document so far, and definitely no "ridiculous" or "abysmal" things.
I have read 500 pages of Project 2025, and there is absolutely NOTHING abysmal and ridiculous if you are a conservative. I defy anyone who defines themselves as a conservative to find anything significant in those first 500 pages I read that can be categorized in that fashion. I am sure that 99.5% of Conservatives have never read the thing either. But we aren't the ones generally describing it as evil. Mostly, we have ignored it.
Granted, I may have missed something.
If someone finds something that fits that description, I am willing to either say I missed it, or...I will debate it. There are plenty of things there I found that conservatives may have a disagreement about a specific approach, but the goals are all as solid as those examples above.
That said-I FULLY understand why Leftists view Project 2025 as the Devil in writing, even though 99.5% of them have never read it, but if they had, I can easily see why they would view it so negatively.
For example, the opening statement on the section on education states:
MISSION
Federal education policy should be limited and, ultimately, the federal Department of Education should be eliminated.
Anyone here have any problem with that?
See why Leftists are screeching?
Federal control of education is one of their sacred cows. No wonder they squeal.
Yep. The flu.
Looks good on Eric Adam’s! Pity NY tax payers.
This could make a complete fiasco out of the city budgets unless they can force De Blasio to make up the back pay. After all, he did cause the problem. Democrats have sure done a wonderful job of running NYC, no?
my thought too
How about all the 10’s of thousands murdered by the governor and lieutenant governor Kathy Hochul. Do their families get any money? At least enough to cover the funerals?...
Tax payers didn’t cause the problems, so why should they pay?
