With less than two months before the 2024 election, and just over four months until the next inauguration, Joe Biden has currently spent 40.3% of his presidency on vacation, more than any other president in history. As Breitbart reports, the Republican National Committee (RNC) Research team posted a video on August 31st showing Biden relaxing in a chair on a Delaware beach. “Biden spent today — his 16th straight day on vacation — lounging on the beach,” the post read. “He has spent a total of 532 days (40.3% of his presidency) on vacation. Who’s running the country?” Biden has...

Three new species of walnuts have been found above the Arctic Circle, remnants of a time when the North and South Poles were covered in forests. Credit: Florida Museum photo by Jeff Gage =============================================================================== The discovery of extinct walnuts in the Arctic suggests a warmer historical climate with dense forests, extending our knowledge of walnut evolution and geographic spread. Scientists have discovered three new species of extinct walnuts on an island above the Arctic Circle. The fossils were discovered further north than any known walnut species, living or extinct, and represent some of the oldest-known records of this group. A...

The cause of death is under investigation,” the academy added. Koonce was a member of USAFA’s class of 2028 and was on its women’s track and field team.

A confused but also encouraged world of enemies watches the listless United States and wonders whether to try something stupid. Somehow the United States ended up this summer with no engaged president and an absent vice president who avoids the missing president and is frantically repudiating everything she co-owned the last three years. The world was already confused over how President Joe Biden was apparently declared by unnamed Democratic insiders and donors unfit and unable to continue as their presidential candidate—as if he were a dethroned Third-World usurper. It further wondered how those who staged his removal had no problem...

Bada bing. A new documentary about the making of HBO’s mafia hit, “The Sopranos,” covers how the late star James Gandolfini gave money to his fellow cast members – except one. Now airing on HBO and Max, “Wise Guy: David Chase and The Sopranos” sees series creator David Chase say onscreen about Gandolfini, “He was great to that crew. He made them laugh, and he gave the other cast members $30,000.” This information was also previously reported in the 2021 book, “Tinderbox: HBO’s Ruthless Pursuit of New Frontiers.” According to the book, Gandolfini signed a contract that would pay him...

Gone is the sugar high over Kamala Harris based on less than accurate polls which peaked following the Democrat Convention only to replaced by Politico gloom due to the first "high-quality" survey since Joe Biden was dumped by the Democrats. The grieving Politico team of Ryan Lizza, Rachael Bade, and Eugene Daniels sounded their sad notes of reality check despair in the Sunday Playbook, "Sobering new polls for Harris."

On May 14, 2024, Andrew Namiki Roberts, leader of the Hawaii Firearms Coalition, exercised his right to openly carry bladed weapons on a beach in Waikiki, Hawaii. Roberts carried a halberd, a highly visible medieval polearm. It did not evoke much response. With Robert and associates’ display of open carry, Hawaii joined those states where supporters of the Constitution openly and legally carry weapons to show the Second Amendment is not a dead letter in American law. Roberts could go about his protest legally because the legislature had restored the legal right to openly carry bladed weapons the day before,...

Remember the “British Invasion?” It occurred in the 1960s (and 1970s) when bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Animals, The Kinks, The Hollies, The Moody Blues, Herman's Hermits, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Elton John, Spandau Ballet, The Specials, The Police -- and many others — became wildly successful in the United States. Can you name me a wildly popular British band today? (Okay, other than The Rolling Stones, led by Mick Jagger, aged 81.) Crickets. There is a reason for this, albeit a sad one. Britain is spent. Its society is in...

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem (9/8/24)[Prayer]Names and Titles of God the Holy Spirit (Restorer) Isaiah 32:15 14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; 15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. 16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall...

At the Economic Club of New York, President Trump announced: “I will create a Government Efficiency Commission tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government — and making recommendations for drastic reforms.” Elon Musk is eager to get involved with the project. In one fell swoop, every other reason for re-electing Donald Trump took a back seat to the tantalizing possibility of turning his second term into an Office Space sequel. No government since the Byzantine Empire has been in more desperate need of immediate downsizing. Can you picture the billionaire boys putting on...

Two recent court decisions could have far-reaching impacts on oil and gas projects. The Sierra Club, the Center for Biological Diversity, and other anti-fossil fuel groups recently sued the National Marine Fisheries Service, claiming the agency’s “biological opinion” failed to properly assess the risks that offshore oil and gas drilling poses to endangered species. Last month, U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman ruled in favor of the plaintiffs.

For 19 years I prayed every morning that God would put me in a position to end this Calamity. This is a spiritual journey for me. I reached my decision through deep prayer and I asked myself what choices must I make to maximize my chances to save America's children and restore National Health. I felt that if I refused this opportunity I would not be able to look myself in the mirror knowing that I could have saved lives of countless children. President Trump has told me that he wants this to be his legacy. The most unifying theme...

A group of Hollywood celebrities — including Disney-Marvel star Mark Ruffalo, HBO’s Sex and the City actress Cynthia Nixon, and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali — is claiming that arms exports to Israel are “illegal” as part of their latest push for a ceasefire in Gaza. The stars co-signed a new call to action from the group Artists for Ceasefire that alleges that the shipment of arms to Israel violates U.S. and international law because Israel engages in what it called “grave human rights violations.” Among those alleged violations are “striking schools or hospitals, restricting humanitarian aid, and killing children,”...

"The Arabs arrived and started killing people in the streets," says Amina*. "When they entered homes, they took everything and burned the remains." The young mother is reliving the horror of the massacre in Sudan which devastated her community. The attack started shortly after dawn. Residents of Kutum, a town in North Darfur, were either still sleeping or had just finished sunrise prayers, when gunshots shattered the early morning calm. As the onslaught raged for nearly nine hours, armed Arab men descended on the area and killed unarmed civilians before celebrating their brutality.

Former U.S. President and Democratic Presidential nominee Donald Trump has issued an unusual warning to Russia and Israel amid the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. “We have to get those wars settled. I’ll tell you, you have to get Ukraine done. That could end up in a third world war. So could the Middle East. So could the Middle East,” he said on Lex Fridman Podcast. Watch.

“To each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good” (1 Corinthians 12:7). The Holy Spirit uses believers to minister to other believers. Right in line with modern culture’s emphasis on personal independence, it’s often easy for one to say, “If I have the all-sufficient Holy Spirit living within me, that’s all I need to live my Christian life.” That is true, but because you are not completely sanctified, you do not always allow the Spirit to fully do His work. Therefore, God needs to use other believers to minister the Spirit’s correction, exhortation, or encouragement....

After 2024 monthly gun sales — as measured by adjusted NICS data — trailing 2023 for most of the year, they started to accelerate in July and jumped even more in August. The may be due, at least in part, to the impending election. Americans tend to hedge their bets every four years by stocking up on firearms and related gear. And then there’s the general state of society that seems to have an increasing number of people concerned about self-defense. As the NSSF’s Mark Oliva tells us . . . The horrific crimes committed by a disturbed youth in...
