There may not be a Thread tomorrow, as I have to report to the hospital for a routine colonoscopy (Ugh). So, if you don't hear from me tomorrow, fear not. I'm just doing what Senior Citizens need to do from time to time to stay healthy. The procedure itself isn't nearly as bad as the preparation.

That brings to mind the theme for today's essay.

About a year and a half ago, the hospital associated with my doctor had a Fire. It was very dramatic and heroic, as staff carried out Neo-Natal ICU babies out in baskets, post-surgical patients in wheelchairs and gurneys, and everyone else on foot. Since it had been an electrical fire, the acrid smoke had filled the building and contaminated everything.

Today will be my first time back there after the fire, and I have no idea what to expect. It will probably be a Brand New, Up-to-Date, Sparkling Citadel of Medical Technology, since EVERYTHING has been installed in the last year.

In Today's Bible Passage about The Holy Spirit, we see that He does a Complete work of Restoration in our lives. He doesn't just patch up what is broken, or slap on a new facade.

Jesus confirms this in the Book of Revelation when He says:

Behold, I make all things new. (Rev. 21:5 KJV). That's way at the end of the Book, and we are still reading in the Old Testament. It's a continuous Thread throughout.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
