The Justice Department is attempting to substitute itself in place of former President Trump as the defendant in a lawsuit brought after law enforcement pushed protesters out from Lafayette Square near the White House following the murder of George Floyd in 2020. If successful, the move would enable Trump to avoid liability in the suit or having to pay any eventual damages. In court filings Monday, the Biden-era Justice Department certified Trump was acting in the scope of his employment as president and filed a notice substituting itself as the defendant. “On the basis of the information now available with...

Former First Lady Obama delivers vicious rebuke of Donald Trump Michelle Obama delivered a series of blistering insults of Donald Trump in front of a roaring Democratic National Convention crowd on Tuesday night. The former first lady called the Republican nominee misogynistic, racist, petty and small in the powerful takedown that upstaged her ex-president husband Barack. The 60-year-old said Kamala Harris is 'my girl' and called on the Democratic Party to unite behind her after the Obama inner circle was accused of helping force Joe Biden from the race. In a mic drop moment that sparked a frenzied reaction from...

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has waded into American politics once again, saying that he is worried about his safety if Donald Trump returns to the White House and that the left-wing Labour Party should openly support the campaign of Kamala Harris. The far-left Mayor of London, who has a long history of public verbal spats with former President Donald Trump, said in an interview with the globalist New Statesman this week that he has personal fears of the Republican nominee being victorious in the presidential election in November.

A multi-agency operation led by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office broke up a transnational theft ring operated by Colombian nationals who illegally entered the country in Texas and Arizona. They made their way to Polk County, Florida, where they allegedly targeted wealthy Asian Americans. Three were released into the country by Border Patrol agents. One was previously deported and illegally reentered evading capture, among two million gotaways during the Biden-Harris administration. All have extensive criminal records, in Colombia, Kansas, Michigan and New York, investigators found. Two are currently detained in county jails, one was deported, and one remains at large.

Filmmaker David Rolfe was a self-professed atheist when he set out to make a documentary about one of the most revered religious artifacts in history - the Shroud of Turin. With the 1978 movie, the photography expert set out to find a prosaic explanation as to how a blood-soaked imprint of a man matching Jesus Christ's description manifested onto the cloth relic. Instead, he was so convinced of its authenticity he converted to Christianity

(The Center Square) – A coalition of states led by Kansas has sued the Biden-Harris administration to block the federal government from providing free health care through the taxpayer-funded Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare, to foreign nationals in the U.S. illegally.... DACA supporters argue recipients should be granted citizenship...Others argue those with criminal records, at a minimum, should be deported. Within the first five years of the program, nearly 80,000 DACA recipients were released into the U.S. with arrest records... If the CMS final rule takes effect Nov. 1, more than 200,000 DACA recipients would automatically become eligible......

A national poll finds that the 2024 vice presidential nominees are both still fighting to make themselves known to the U.S. voting public. The poll, conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, shows 4 out of 10 Americans don’t know enough about Democratic vice presidential nominee Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to form an opinion. The same goes for about 3 out of 10 Americans regarding Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, the Republican vice presidential nominee. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the running mate of Vice President Kamala Harris, attends a rally at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. (Tom...

Come here for the latest news on how the so-called “energy transition” is grinding to a halt. No amount of government handouts can make this ridiculously uneconomic fantasy work. My last post on the subject, on July 20, reported on the collapse of a large “green hydrogen” project in Australia, with the stated loss of an investment of about $2 billion (Australian) (equivalent to about $1.3 billion U.S.). It seems that that one was just the tip of the iceberg. Today’s Wall Street Journal has a substantial roundup of the financial status of a half-dozen or so so-called “clean fuel”...

Why are you and Loren Merchan using the same office for Authentic Campaigns and Avalanche Acquisitions while you’re still working for the Kamala Harris and Joe Biden?' ===================================================================== (Ken Silva, Headline USA) On Aug. 1, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, opened an investigation into the daughter of Democrat Judge Juan Merchan—who’s set to sentence Donald Trump in the Manhattan campaign finance case on Sept. 18—over her past work for Vice President Kamala Harris. In response to Jordan’s probe, a business partner for Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, said their firm, Authentic Campaigns Inc., was being “targeted by a baseless...

Kamala Harris raised an unprecedented haul of about $500 million in the first month of her candidacy, according to a report. Four sources told Reuters the colossal amount had come in just four weeks since she replaced President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket on July 21. In that time, the vice president has already smashed fundraising records as donors have sought to give her campaign more firepower in a tight race against Donald Trump. The Harris campaign said it raised $200 million in the first week following Biden’s withdrawal from the race, a dramatic reversal of...

In a recent interview, World Energy Council Secretary General Angela Wilkinson told me that one of the main impediments to the energy transition today is a lack of what she calls “systems thinking.” “Energy transitions are a change in the organization of society,” she pointed out. “They’re not a simple case of swapping out one technology for another and everything else stays the same. Yet we have this very simplistic narrative that we can take the oil system, we can put renewables in, it’s going to happen immediately, and nothing else will change. It’s like saying we’re going to take...

Donald Trump doesn’t need anyone’s help when it comes to debates—he knows what he stands for and has a record of success to back it up. Kamala Harris on the other hand will spend the next 3 weeks with pollsters, memorizing every line they tell her to say. Trump is real and not a politician; Kamala is a typical politician who will say anything to get elected. Don’t be fooled. Look at her record.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Democratic National Convention’s second night showcased a double dose of Obama firepower to validate Vice President Kamala Harris and deliver an unsparing indictment of Republican Donald Trump. The convention also served up a raucous roll call of states that was essentially one big dance party. If the Republican convention was all about Trump, the Democrats on Tuesday wanted to put Harris in a pantheon with past presidents. The biggest validators of the night were former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. The latter linked Harris with her husband by telling the rapt crowd, “America, hope...

FIRST ON FOX – A recent hire at the nuclear security wing of the Department of Energy has previously called for disarmament policies – which reduce or eliminate nuclear weapons – arguing that advancing "queer theory" was essential to that agenda as well as important to America's national security. The Biden-Harris administration announced Sneha Nair had been appointed as special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration in February 2024. Nair believes in eradicating purported "White supremacy" in the nuclear field as well as "queering nuclear weapons" as part of a diversity, equity and inclusion push she believes is essential...

But you have an inner need to defend the Fatherland...

History is a nightmare from which Northern Ireland is trying to awake. The hundreds-of-years-old rift between nationalist Catholics -- who want a united Ireland -- and Protestant Unionists -- who wish to remain part of the United Kingdom -- has its origins in the Ulster Plantation when England divvied up land in the northeast of the island to loyal subjects from northern England and Scotland to help mollify the historically quarrelsome region. Most are familiar with the most recent flareup in the region, the 30 years of conflict known as The Troubles, which formally ended in the late nineties, but...
