During Captive Nations Week, we remember all those around the world living under oppression and fighting for their liberty. They remind us that freedom is never free and that even the most brutal regime cannot erase the human yearning for dignity and self-determination.As we marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day this year, we were reminded of the dark forces that the United States and its allies fought against in World War II, like aggression, greed, and the desire to dominate and change borders by force. Still today, the struggle between dictatorship and freedom continues. We see it in various places...

On Wednesday, the prime minister of Israel visited the United States to address Congress nearly 10 months after Palestinian soldiers broke a ceasefire, invaded Israel, raped and murdered 1,200 civilians, and kidnapped 240 others. On top of these international war crimes, the soldiers were dressed as civilians. Democrats snubbed Bibi. Biden, Kamala and Blinken were too chickenshit to greet him and his delegation of Israeli former hostages and families of the hostages. The U.S. government’s official policy now is to abandon Americans held hostage by the Hamas kidnappers. Half the Democrats in Congress refused to show up for his address....

In case you missed it, the mainstream media has been doing backflips: Biden is out, Kamala is in, and Operation Prop-Up Harris is fully underway. Over just the past few days, the media has gone from “Kamala who lol?” to “OMG, Kamala is a political unicorn, the most beautiful woman who’s ever lived, and the savior of our country!” And thus, the Harris Honeymoon was launched. But eventually, all honeymoons must end. It’s inevitable. Honeymoons aren’t meant to last forever – because eventually, you leave paradise and return to your normal life. It’s true in traditional marriages, and it’s even...

he FBI’s director has revealed that investigators still do not know whether it was a bullet or some shrapnel which grazed Donald Trump’s ear during his attempted assassination. There is nothing wrong with calling one's political opponents crazy if they are, in fact, crazy. The Democratic elites in the United States of America are a toxic combination of pathological liars and unhinged. Just look around. A prime example of unhinged behavior would be the "Free Palestine" protesters who decided to deploy maggots to express their displeasure with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress, which Athena wrote about. Democratic officials continually try to portray the "Free Palestine" loons as a radical fringe that isn't representative of their values, which is a perfect example of the aforementioned lying....

Rocker Dave Matthews was seen in the anti-Israel crowd that took to Washington, DC, streets Wednesday to protest against visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. News outlet Al Jazeera found him and did an interview. “It’s a disgusting show of support for someone who doesn’t deserve our support,” Matthews despaired in an on-air exchange with the outlet. At no time did he mention the hostages taken when Hamas terrorists invaded southern Israel last October 7, or consider their fate since. It was the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust — slaughtering babies, raping women, burning whole families alive, and...

ransomnote: I put Biden's promise of continued military aid in bold type below.Today, President Biden launched the Ukraine Compact at an event with 32 allies and partners as part of our commitment to Ukraine’s long term security. This Compact fulfills the promise President Biden and these countries made in Vilnius in 2023 to negotiate long-term bilateral security agreements with Ukraine to support Ukraine as it defends itself now, and to deter aggression against Ukraine in the future as part of its bridge to NATO membership. Leveraging each of our agreements, this historic Compact creates a unified and comprehensive security architecture...

This desperate attempt to manufacture a culturally Black background for Kamala is laughable. Quick note: Many Foundational Black American families already had these types of records for years. So having to purchase them NOW says a lot

HANOI/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States and Vietnam are discussing the sale of Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules military transport planes to Hanoi, two people familiar with the discussions said, in a sign of closer security cooperation between the two former foes. The talks could lead to a supply agreement this year, the sources said, in what would represent Vietnam's largest military deal since it said publicly at the end of 2022 that it intended to diversify its defence supplies, which have for decades relied heavily on Russian gear. The C-130 can carry soldiers, military equipment and other supplies, and would...

The FBI's director has cast doubt on whether Donald Trump was struck by a bullet during the attempt on his life at a Pennsylvania political rally. Christopher Wray was updating Congress about the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler on Wednesday when he made the explosive statement. 'With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,' Wray said. 'I don't know right now whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have landed somewhere else.' Wray was addressing security failures that allowed gunman Thomas Matthew...

Shoplifting has spiked across the country so far this year — even as many major crimes like homicide dropped back to pre-pandemic levels, a major national crime study showed. Rates of shoplifting rose an average 24% during the first half of 2024 compared to the same period last year, according to the Council on Criminal Justice’s (CCJ) Mid-Year Crime Report released Thursday. The study reviewed crime statistics from 23 cities across the US, finding shoplifting has steadily been on the rise since the country began emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic around 2022. Shoplifting has gotten lots of attention in recent...

Today I am happy to highlight that William Cabell Bruce's work Benjamin Franklin: Self-Revealed (v1) has been completed. https://librivox.org/benjamin-franklin-self-revealed-vol1-wc-bruce/This is an example of good things that just drop into your lap. Many moons ago I asked people "Which Founding Father is the most popular who isn't George Washington, isn't Benamin Franklin, isn't Thomas Jefferson, and isn't George Washington?", because in part this small handful of Founders is going to naturally have coverage. These are the Founders that the school systems cannot cover up. So from that standpoint these books are just going to get done anyways. There's no reason to...

Cambridge suspect faces federal charges An alleged meth and fentanyl kingpin of a “sprawling” Greater Boston empire was arrested and charged following an investigation which indicated he could have produced millions of counterfeit pills — partially funded through Paycheck Protection Program loan fraud. Schuyler Oppenheimer, 33, of Cambridge, who allegedly conducted illicit trade with Chinese suppliers under the name “Michael Sylvain,” was arrested last week and charged in federal court in Boston with possession of 500 grams and more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine and two counts of wire fraud. The drug charge carries...
