CLIFTON, N.J. -- Part of Route 3 remains closed in Clifton, New Jersey, after a truck apparently carrying hazardous materials crashed into a wall and exploded on Monday morning, killing the driver and melting the siding off homes on the other side. The westbound side was reopened hours later, but CBS New York was told to expect to see crews working on the eastbound side into Tuesday morning as the investigation and cleanup continue

A Planned Parenthood facility in Durango, Colorado, has closed “temporarily, but indefinitely” after the abortion chain admitted it cannot find a nurse practitioner to commit abortions there. The Durango Herald reported that services will cease on September 6th, due to an ongoing struggle to find a nurse practitioner (NP) to keep on staff. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains CEO Adrienne Mansanares said it has been eight months since the facility had a staff NP, and “stopgap measures” are no longer working. Without someone on staff, it has had other Planned Parenthood abortionists cycling through the Durango facility from Nevada,...

The MAGA faithful didn’t take long to turn their fire on Kamala Harris after Joe Biden finally gave up on his re-election bid. Their weapon of choice? The tired old suggestion—resting on a long-ago relationship with the future mayor of San Francisco—that Harris slept her way to the top in politics. First up was right-wing activist and columnist Matt Walsh, who reminded his 2.9 million followers on X that Harris had “got her start in politics by sleeping with Willie Brown.” He went on: “She became Vice President because Biden needed a non-white female on the ticket. Now she likely...

Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa cannot forget the dead body he saw just metres from the summit of Mount Lhotse in the Himalayas more than a decade ago. The Nepali was working as a guide for a German climber trying to scale the world’s fourth highest mountain in May 2012. The body blocking their path was thought to be Milan Sedlacek, a Czech mountaineer who’d perished just a few days earlier. Mr Sherpa was curious why the Czech climber had died so close to the top. One of the gloves on the frozen corpse was missing. “The bare hand might have slipped...

When President Joe Biden began his campaign trip in Las Vegas last week, everything seemed to be running as smoothly as it could for an 81-year-old president in physical and cognitive decline. The day before he abruptly left town, Biden delivered the keynote address in front of a packed crowd of almost five thousand people at the NAACP National Convention at the Mandalay Bay hotel. On Wednesday, Biden was scheduled to deliver the keynote at the UnidosUS annual convention at the MGM Grand, with thousands in attendance anticipating his arrival. With the venue located right off the Las Vegas Strip,...

I just happened to run across this mess online. I was appalled to see SO MANY PEOPLE espousing the libtard cause, even though it has led to an economic downturn, a huge budget problem, all the problems associated with illegals, and the problems associated with the Biden crime family. Who are these people? Where do they get their funding? And how could they possibly be so stupid?

President Biden will be back at the White House on Tuesday for the first time since he announced he was abandoning his re-election campaign and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden is scheduled to leave his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware — where he had been recovering from COVID-19 — in the afternoon and arrive at the Executive Mansion by 2:30 p.m., according to his schedule. The 81-year-old president was originally expected to leave the beach town, where he had been under quarantine, on Monday to hit the campaign trail, but he extended his stay after announcing that he was...

Two studies may provide hope for patients with irritable bowel syndrome struggling to implement the traditional low-FODMAP diet. In the low-FODMAP diet, patients with IBS restrict their intake of certain carbohydrates (fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols), before gradually reintroducing each to determine sensitivity. In the first study, participants started on the traditional low-FODMAP restriction diet, but then had different FODMAP foods reintroduced blindly. The researchers found that patients reacted to an average of two FODMAPs. The data also suggested that individual FODMAPs alone could cause symptoms—as opposed to all the FODMAPs at once. The most significant, finding however, was...

Excavations in Jerusalem have finally revealed the route of an ancient fortification, according to a report published Sunday. For more than 150 years, researchers have asked: who divided Jerusalem in two? A report published Sunday by the Jewish Press may finally have another piece of the puzzle, bringing researchers a step closer to answering this question.Excavations in the Givati parking lot at the City of David revealed a massive fortification created by quarrying rock between the National Park and the area above, which contains the Temple Mount and the Ofel. Researchers found unearthed perpendicular cliffs on both sides of a moat,...

Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. The condition occurs when cells in the eye that help you see (called retinal ganglion cells) start to die. The main risk factors for glaucoma are high eye pressure and older age. Currently, all licensed treatments are designed to lower pressure in the eye—also known as intraocular pressure. However, some patients still continue to lose their sight following treatment. To help doctors better understand who will lose their vision faster, the study asked whether mitochondrial function, measured in white blood cells, is lower in people with glaucoma than those without glaucoma...

New research shows combined use of sodium glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2is) and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1-RAs) is likely to offer additional protection against heart and kidney disease in patients with diabetes. SGLT2is, also called gliflozins, are a class of drug that lower blood glucose by increasing its excretion in the urine, while GLP-1RAs, such as Ozempic, work by enhancing insulin release and sensitivity. Both classes of medicine have each been shown to improve cardiovascular outcomes. Although small, relatively short-term trials have suggested using these medicines together improves blood glucose control, their combined effects on heart disease and kidney...

Joe Biden is dying and final preparations are being made for him. He was supposed to leave Delaware today, but his health has deteriorated. Due to his accelerated decline, Joe Biden has cancelled nine trips that were scheduled for the next two weeks. Biden is expected to leave his beach home in Rehoboth, Delaware on Tuesday afternoon and arrive back at the White House at 2:30 pm, although that could be changed to Wednesday, July 24th. It all depends on how much he continues to decline Biden has been dying, and he is dying rather quickly. This is why Kamala...

Joe Biden's phone call to former campaign staffers on Monday has sparked new theories on the president's health after an odd moment between the president and Kamala Harris. The 81-year-old spoke in a scratchy voice from COVID isolation at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, home and told Harris: 'I'm watching you kid'. However, many noted a strange exchange between the vice president and her boss, who has not been seen in five days and since he shocked the world by dropping out of the race via a letter posted to social media on Sunday. The new presumptive Democratic nominee Harris said:...

And it’s clear there is far more going on under the hood than meets the eye. Firstly, it all ties into the Trump assassination attempt and ongoing Congressional testimony of Director of Secret Service Kimberly Cheatle. The testimony has revealed there are likely a lot of things being hidden from the public about the would-be assassin Thomas Crooks’, and particularly his potential dealings with the FBI.### Now there’s an investigation by Heritage foundation showing that a digital device visiting Crooks’ home multiple times has been geo-located to having gone to the vicinity of an FBI office in Washington DC in...

GOP Rep. William Timmons of South Carolina pressed Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle on Monday on reports that the Pittsburgh Secret Service field office sent four times the number of additional agents to cover a first lady Jill Biden event than to former President Donald Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was shot. Cheatle neither confirmed nor denied that was the case. Biden was speaking at an event at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh for approximately 300 people close to the same time Trump was speaking at his rally attended by several thousand, ... Timmons started out his...
