WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joseph R. Biden, 46th President of the United States, has finally managed to rally the country around a common cause by dropping out of the presidential race. The move has been widely praised as the most popular action of Biden's presidency and has garnered bipartisan support from nearly all Americans. Biden's decision to step down is polling at nearly 100% approval across the nation and has sparked spontaneous block parties and state fairs country-wide. Judd Franklin, a lifelong Republican, said that he never thought he'd find any sort of agreement with the Democrats. "Who'd have ever guessed...

A PAC supposedly representing Nikki Haley voters is now backing Vice President Kamala Harris in the general election race. The PAC is throwing its full weight behind Harris whom President Joe Biden endorsed on Sunday after announcing he will not seek reelection after all. “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made,” Biden said in a follow-up announcement after making his intentions clear. “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our...

(Jul. 22, 2024) — Trump will have the legal standing in federal courts to do so if she is nominated for that office by the DNC. And Trump should do so to force SCOTUS to take up the issue of the “natural born Citizen” term as it applies to whom can constitutionally serve as the President and Commander in Chief (and VP per the 12th Amendment) and resolve it. The courts evaded the issue using “lack of standing by the plaintiffs” for Obama and then also for Harris for VP. They should not do that again. Former Chief Justice Marshall‘s...

President Joe Biden will hold no public events all week to explain why he stepped aside, according to the White House schedule released Monday. The lack of a public appearance will increase concerns about Biden’s health. Many commentators believe that Biden’s lack of a public appearance to announce his decision will fuel calls for him to resign from the presidency, citing fears that he is not able to run the executive branch. Is the MSM going to ask for some sort of public appearance by President Biden or are they just sticking with their absurd “he’s a hero” talking point...

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) will not seek his party's nomination for president. Another potential rival to Harris, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich.), endorsed Harris on Sunday. Both Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.) and Gov. Phil Murphy (D-N.J.) threw their support behind Harris. Former Democrat (but still senator) Joe Manchin (I-W.Va.) briefly considered making a run but dropped that hot potato almost instantly. “ When President Biden picked Kamala Harris to be his Vice President he unleashed incredible excitement for a new generation of political leadership," Hochul said in a statement. "That same energy will carry us to November 5 with Vice President...

Former first lady and twice failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton lauded Vice President Kamala Harris as a “brilliant prosecutor” in a Facebook post on Monday, following President Joe Biden announcing he is ending his reelection campaign and endorsing Harris for president in the 2024 election. “I’ve known Kamala Harris a long time,” Clinton began in her Facebook post. “This brilliant prosecutor will make the case against convicted felon Donald Trump and the Project 2025 agenda to take away our freedoms.” I've known Kamala Harris a long time. This brilliant prosecutor will make the case against convicted felon Donald Trump…...

JULY 22, 2024 Statement from President Joe Biden on Climate Pollution Reduction Grants “When I think of climate change, I think about jobs – good-paying, union jobs that put Americans to work, rebuild our nation’s aging infrastructure, and support our transition to a clean energy future. As climate change continues to fuel more extreme impacts on communities across the country, we are using every tool in our toolbox to reduce pollution, lower families’ energy costs, advance environmental justice, and make our communities more resilient. Today my Administration is empowering local communities across 30 states to cut pollution and fight the...

The Good, the Bad, and the Fiendishly Synodal at the National Eucharistic CongressEucharistic revival and synodality go together. Or to put it another way, I believe that we will have true Eucharistic revival when we experience the Eucharist as the sacrament of Christ’s incarnation: as the Lord walking with us together on the way.” (Cardinal Christophe Pierre, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, November 14, 2023)In his essay about converting to Catholicism in The Road to Damascus, Evelyn Waugh wrote of the self-evident logic that led him to conclude that if Christianity was true, the Catholic Church must be...

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) on Monday endorsed Vice President Harris to be the Democratic Party’s nominee for president, giving Harris a major boost and foreclosing the possibility of the vice president facing a serious challenge from a popular battle-state governor. “Today, I am fired up to endorse Kamala Harris for president of the United States,” Whitmer said in a statement. “In Vice President Harris, Michigan voters have a presidential candidate they can count on to focus on lowering their costs, restoring their freedoms, bringing jobs and supply chains back home from overseas, and building an economy that works for...

For 23 days, President Joe Biden insisted on pushing forward with his reelection bid in the face of calls from Democratic lawmakers and donors for him to step aside. And then, almost on a dime, things changed. Early Saturday, Biden told senior aides it was “full steam ahead” for the campaign. But by later that evening, he had changed his mind following a long discussion with his two closest aides. Steve Ricchetti, who’s been with Biden since his days in the Senate, drove to see the president at his house on the Delaware shore on Friday. Mike Donilon arrived on...

Daily Readings from the USCCBMary stayed outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the Body of Jesus had been. John 20:11–12Early in His ministry, Jesus cast seven demons out of Mary of Magdala. As a result, she became an exceptionally faithful follower of Jesus. She was most likely one of His followers who provided for Jesus and the disciples out of her own resources as they traveled. She listened to His teachings, witnessed His miracles,...

Former President Barack Obama withheld endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday because he is worried about being seen as a “back-room party” boss “engineering a Harris coronation,” Politico Playbook reported Monday. The report underscores concerns that Obama pushed Biden out and is trying to coronate Harris as the de facto nominee, nullifying about 14 million votes Biden received in the Democrat primary. A person familiar with Obama’s thinking appeared to refute those concerns to Playbook, however, claiming that Obama wants Democrats “to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.”

She refused to answer questions on the failures of the Secret Service in the deadly assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump that left one man dead and three, including President Trump, injured. Here is a partial transcript from today.

Donald Trump made a bizarre and erratic series of posts attacking Joe Biden on Sunday night, prompting critics to speculate that he was freaking out about the president’s decision to withdraw from the 2024 race. Trump first reacted to Biden’s announcement by trashing his record and calling him the “single worst president by far in the history of our country.”
