A.W. Richard Sipe was a former Benedictine monk and Catholic priest, trained as a psychotherapist to deal with the mental health problems of the clergy. However, over the years, his work with the records of over six thousand patients uncovered a pattern of behavior within the Church that eventually led him to exit the clergy and reveal the truth behind the sexual abuse of minors.

The Biden administration is flying previously deported Cameroonians whose asylum claims were determined to be invalid back into the United States, according to interviews with Immigration and Customs Enforcement staff and internal agency memos reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The program, which has not been announced to the public, appears to be a response to a February 2022 Human Rights Watch report about dozens of Cameroonians deported between 2019 and 2021 and then allegedly mistreated by their government. An estimated 80 to 90 Cameroonians were deported during that period of time. But now some are arriving back in the...

In a June 21, 2024 Friday sermon at Lafayette, Louisiana, the imam said in his supplication: "Oh Allah, annihilate the Jews and the Chris… Oh Allah, annihilate the Jews and their helpers. […] kill them one by one and do not spare a single one of them." The sermon was streamed live on the Facebook page of the Islamic Center of Lafayette, which gave no indication as to the identity of the imam. However, online research suggests that the imam was Mohamad El-Saleh, whom according to news reports, represented the Islamic Center at a November 7, 2023 interfaith prayer for...

MSNBC anchor Jen Psaki, who once served as President Biden’s press secretary, defended his campaign amid criticism of the president’s debate performance last week, instead pinning the blame on the president. Psaki said it is “absurd” to blame Biden’s prep team for his poor performance. “It was a bad debate. I have no doubt they were tough, strategic and direct. (Believe me I have seen them in action) but prep does not always determine the outcome,” she said on social platform X. “Biden was bad. Important convos about what happens next. But if you are directing your ire at ‘prep’...

I muse upon changes in music life across the expanse of the rise of talkies and radio. You would think that radio & talkies made music more accessible, therefore, the average person's appreciation of and participation in music got better after culture started to be put in an electronic form. Here's a suggestion that the opposite is true. Some things we know, to suggest that nearly everyone sang, are that in the decade before World War I, there were 300 piano brands in the U.S. (Most customers were middle-class, but some poor children could get a piano.) There were ten,...

Some 30 percent of Black Americans said they would vote for former President Donald Trump in a new poll, a huge jump from the percentage of Black people who voted for him in the last two elections. The survey was published on Wednesday after it was carried out by the New York Times and the Siena College Research Institute. Researchers questioned 1,226 registered voters between June 20 and June 25 and found that 30 percent of the Black people they surveyed would vote for Trump compared to 59 percent who said they would vote for President Joe Biden. Conversely, 53...

U.S. — Despite a significant majority of the nation now believing President Biden mentally unfit for office, the Democratic Party has decided to stay with Biden as its nominee as it would be a huge pain to reprint the tens of thousands of ballots they already filled out. "On one hand, the nation now knows Biden is incapable of thinking and is a clear and present danger to himself and the country," said DNC chair Jaime Harrison. "On the other hand, it would be SUCH a pain to have to reprint all those ballots when we already filled them all...

Israel has lost effective sovereignty in the northern part of the country, thanks to constant Hezbollah projectile fire that has led to the evacuation of tens of thousands of Israelis, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Monday. The Times of Israel reported: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that Israel “has effectively lost sovereignty in the northern quadrant of its country because people don’t feel safe to go to their homes.” In an on-stage interview at the Brookings Institution, Blinken reiterates his belief that Israel does not want a war in Lebanon, but admits that “they may well...

First Lady Jill Biden said she is “trying to be out there” to explain to the American people what she believes her husband, President Joe Biden, has achieved for them, she said during an interview published in Vogue. Jill Biden is featured on the cover of the magazine’s August issue, and it features a lengthy profile on the first lady, who has come under the spotlight as of late as critics believe she is the driving force behind her husband refusing to drop out of the presidential race, despite widespread panic among Democrats, particularly after Thursday’s debate. “Each campaign is...

People also often try to simply change the topic of conversation. Image credit: zeljkodan/Shutterstock.com ================================================================== Eating too much meat is bad for you, bad for the environment, and fatal for the animals involved. Those are straight facts, indisputable and proven through years of study. But counterpoint: have you considered that vegans are annoying? If the comments section under just about any media promoting a vegetarian or vegan diet is anything to go by, the answer to that question is probably “yes”. And, in any case, what about all the poor plants, huh? You okay with murdering them, IFLScience? The blood...

The Supreme Court just bitch-slapped Jack Smith. Fanny Willis is a beached whale, only fatter. The democrat-controlled media, which have been giving Joe Biden a cat-bath ever since he was elected are in full meltdown after the debate and today's Supreme Court ruling. The media have voiding in their huggies so much that newsrooms at MSNBC, CNN, NPR, and the rest smell like stale urine. That leaves Judge Merchan. The Biden machine will goose him to give President Trump a prison sentence, effective immediately in an attempt to keep him out of the White House. The democrats do not care...

The Biden campaign on Monday responded to the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity. The Supreme Court on Monday ruled 6-3 that Trump has absolute immunity for his core Constitutional powers. Former presidents are entitled to at least a presumption of immunity for their official acts. The Supreme Court ruled there is no immunity for unofficial acts. .... Snip.... The Biden-Harris camp didn’t take the Supreme Court’s decision well. They issued an unhinged statement and attacked Trump with lies. “Today’s ruling doesn’t change the facts, so let’s be very clear about what happened on January 6: Donald Trump snapped after...

President Joe Biden is trailing behind Donald Trump in the 2024 race, including by nearly 15 points among younger voters, according to a leading pollster. A survey from AtlasIntel, which was named the most accurate polling group of the 2020 presidential election by 538, found that Trump has a five-point lead over Biden (45.5 percent to 40.3) with just over four months to go until November's rematch between the pair. When broken down further, the poll of 1,634 likely voters shows that Trump is the clear favorite among voters aged 18-29 (41.6 percent to 27). Historically, younger voters have tended...

Old Joe Biden may be a poor debater, but at least he tells the truth, unlike Bad Orange Man. As improbable as it is, that’s the line the left has decided upon to explain away Biden’s appalling performance in last Thursday’s debate. But this excuse appears even more appalling in light of the fact that Biden lied his way through that debate.Old Joe himself said it at a Friday rally: “Well, folks, I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debah — debate as well as I used...
