In compliance with a congressional subpoena, the disgraced former governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, finally arrived in Washington, DC, on Tuesday to answer for his pandemic actions before the subcommittee tasked with investigating the COVID-19 response. In typical fashion, he opened the hearing with the familiar lies and hackneyed talking points we have been hearing for four years. But unlike his Albany fireside chats in which he pretended to know what he was doing, Tuesday’s statements are now part of the congressional record and made under oath. Cuomo’s comment on the March 25, 2020, directive that sent more than...

Nothing is too absurd for Hamas to claim - or for the world’s Jew-haters to believe. The brilliantly executed rescue of four hostages by the Israelis has left Hamas deeply chagrined. Another spectacular feat for Israel — and defeat for Hamas — simply cannot be accepted. So some have insisted that others — the Americans — must have played a role in the operation. It’s nonsense. The Americans have said that they been contributing some intelligence to the Israelis about where hostages were believed to be held — it’s not known exactly how much, or how useful it was —...

DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Automaker Stellantis is recalling more than 211,000 SUVs and pickup trucks due to a software issue with the braking systems. The recall affects 2022 models of the Dodge Durango and Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. The Ram 2500 is the model with by far the most vehicles impacted. Nearly 158,000 of the 2500 pickups will be recalled, while just over 500 Ram 3500s are affected. Around 53,000 Durangos will be recalled. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, many of these vehicles have a problem with the anti-lock braking control module, which could potentially...

In the EU elections, a good showing for the good guys Just as increasing numbers of Americans, in response to such outrages as the disastrous Biden economy and the unending invasion at the southern border, appear to be shedding their distaste for Donald Trump, more and more Western Europeans, mostly in response to mass Islamic immigration, are rejecting their globalist elites and turning to the right. A month ago I wrote here about New York Times columnist Roger Cohen’s hysteria about the rise of the so-called “far right” in Europe – an attitude that is, needless to say, representative of...

Why the world’s democracies should abandon the UN immediately Benjamin Kerstein has cast a skeptical eye on the so-called “international community,” and suggests it is time to put an end to this malignant entity. His argument can be found here: “The ‛International Community’ Has No Right to Exist,” by Benjamin Kerstein, JNS.org, June 2, 2024:Recent decisions against Israel by the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice, which are clearly intended to rescue Hamas and aid and abet its genocidal war on the Jewish state, can only reinforce a truism often expressed by Israelis: Kol ha’olam negdeinu. “The whole...

General Motors is trimming its expected sales and production of all-electric vehicles this year, as U.S. adoption of EVs occurs slower than expected. GM Chief Financial Officer Paul Jacobson said the company now expects production of 200,000 to 250,000 EVs this year, down from a previously announced range of 200,000 to 300,000. ... Jacobson said GM expects EVs to make up 8% of U.S. sales industrywide this year. That’s lower than many other auto analyst forecasts, which expect EVs to represent around 10% of industry sales in 2024.

NATIONAL JERKY DAY National Jerky Day on June 12 celebrates the rich history, immense popularity, and nutritional benefits of dried meat snacks known as jerky. On this food holiday, we are going to share some information for you to chew on. #NationalJerkyDay This nutrient-dense meat is made lightweight by drying. A pound of meat or poultry will weigh only about four ounces after transforming it into jerky. Properly prepared jerky can be stored for months without refrigeration because the drying process removes most of the moisture. Salt added to the meat before the drying process begins helps to prevent bacteria...

Here are my notes (paraphrasing):- There are these Left-wing hate mobs following me now. Other leaders aren't bothered as they don't meet the public. Police told me not to get off the bus. Trade unionists... Some deluded students. One of them filled a coffee cup with cement and threw it at me. It didn't miss by much. Some better news... Booked venue (Yarmouth) was 450 capacity and I'm told we could have filled it twice over. The polls... YouGov put us on 17% and the Conservatives on 18%. We clearly have room to grow. The election is over. Labor will...

This escalation comes amid regional tensions and while U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in the region pushing for a cease-fire proposal.
