Legendary Disney filmmaker John Musker called out The Walt Disney Company for putting political messages ahead of story in its recent films. Musker, who co-directed some of the studio’s most popular films in recent decades, like “The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin” and “Moana,” commented on the state of Disney in a recent interview, saying the company needs to steer away from pushing a woke message and focus on characters and story above all. “I think they need to do a course correction a bit in terms of putting the message secondary, behind entertainment and compelling story and engaging characters,” Musker told...

Mobilized Ukrainians live on the front line for an average of three hours, failed conscripts who escaped conscription to Hungary told the Hungarian publication Tynyek.According to them, conscription for military service meant only “certain death” for them. They continue to hide even abroad because they are afraid that the looters will reach here too. Police or soldiers stop people on the street, take away their documents, and then detain them. Those who do not present documents are immediately put on a bus and taken to some military camp, where, after very short training, they are immediately sent to the front,...

The Judge in Hunter Biden’s federal gun case ruled on Friday that prosecutors can use evidence from Hunter Biden’s laptop to sway jury members. However, according to Fox, “prosecutors on Special Counsel David Weiss’ team cannot use some salacious evidence in the first son’s criminal trial next month, including references to his U.S. Navy discharge and the child support case for his out-of-wedlock daughter in Arkansas.” In September, Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges. He was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs. Hunter pleaded not guilty...

A spot check of fast food prices over the past five years shows prices rising much faster than the official Bureau of Labor Statistics' Consumer Price Index's 21% rise. Big Macs are 88% more costly. Taco Bell burritos are up 118%, and Chick-Fil A nuggets are up 96%. Erika McEntarfer, Commissioner of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, explained that "we use a 'hedonic' adjustment factor to account for the technological improvements that make products more enjoyable. A simplistic comparison of a 2024 Bic Mac with a 2019 Big Mac fails to account for the value of the increased consumer...

Satellite imagery confirms a Russian strategic early warning radar site in the southwestern end of the country was substantially damaged in a reported Ukrainian drone attack earlier this week. This looks to be a first-of-its-kind attack on a site linked to Russia's general strategic defense. As such, it points to a new and worrisome dimension to the conflict, especially when it comes to the potential use of nuclear weapons.A satellite image taken on May 23 that The War Zone obtained from Planet Labs of the Armavir Radar Station in Russia's southwestern Krasnodar Krai shows significant debris around one of the...

Joe Biden on Saturday commemorated the death of George Floyd, who died four years ago during an arrest with a potentially lethal amount of fentanyl in his system, according to a medical examiner who examined his death. “Today, I join all those who loved him and all those touched by the civil rights movement he inspired in remembering the tragedy and injustice of his death,” said Joe “you ain’t black” Biden. It can be recalled that racist Joe Biden was close to KKK Kleagle Robert Byrd and even delivered a eulogy at his funeral. And don’t forget about Joe Biden’s...

Question: How do you take the greatest scorer in college history, men or women, and destroy her confidence and career in seven games or less? And how do you also manage to bring down an entire professional sports league at the same time? Answer: Ask Christie Sides. Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides has never had a winning record and finished dead last year in the WNBA. Now, her goal is to not only bring down Caitlin Clark and her team – that’s not enough. During the 2016 cycle, Hillary Clinton boasted about how Republicans were probably the enemy she was most proud of making. But now she’s sounding almost envious. While riffing about Democratic failures to defend Roe v. Wade, Clinton, 76, griped that her party sometimes lacks the relentless resolve the right has. “One thing I give the right credit for is they never give up,” she told the New York Times in a recent interview. “They are relentless. You know, they take a loss, they get back up, they regroup, they raise more money.”

The US has been outclassed by its rivals, such as Russia, in its capacity to remotely take out enemy weapons using jamming technology, according to former US military officials. Mike Nagata, a retired US Army lieutenant general who led special operations in the Middle East, said that the US is "still falling behind" in its electronic warfare capabilities, reported Defense One. Electronic warfare units, which use electronic signals to remotely scramble the GPS coordinates used to guide weapons, have played a key role in Russia's war in Ukraine. "The gap between where the United States should be and where we...

I saw former President Obama criticizing former President Trump for not passing “transformative” changes. That is, Trump didn’t sign any Obama-like transformative changes (like Obamacare). Truimp did try to slow down the damage done by Obama and his transformative agenda (e.g., open borders, wealth redistritution, green energy) that Biden has attempted to continue. As we approach the party conventions and Presidential election of 2024, we saw the Economic Surprise Index (ESI) in May decline to -0.126. Coupled with Biden’s negative buying conditions for housing (higher mortgage rates and soaring house prices), Obama’s Jacobian transformative economic fantasty is on thin ice....

The chattering classes in the UK put on their outrage cap on Sunday while trotting out accusations of “racism” against Brexit leader Nigel Farage for warning that an increasing number of Muslims in the country “loathe” British values. Appearing on Sky News’s Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips, Mr Farage stated: “We have a growing number of young people in this country who do not subscribe to British values, in fact, loathe much of what we stand for. I think we see them on the streets of London every Saturday.”

In 5,259 BC, our planet was bombarded with a shower of highly energetic particles resulting from a rare cosmic event of exceptional magnitude. Initially revealed through the discovery of carbon isotopes measured in ancient tree ring data, the event produced a roughly two percent increase in atmospheric Carbon-14 (14C), making it one of the strongest events of its kind known to scientists...The breakthrough relied on the combination of annual growth ring measurements with the measurable spike in cosmogenic radiocarbon that occurred during the 5259 BC event. This allowed them to establish a chronological reference point for producing accurate dates for...
