The Democrat-run states such as New York and Illinois are increasing 2020 census numbers after successfully asking for a review of the once-a-decade population survey that helps determine federal funding distribution as the states struggle with population losses. The distribution of the population of California is also being changed following a review, the Associated Press reported Thursday. That report says that "the once-a-decade census produces population figures that help determine political power and the annual distribution of $2.8 trillion in federal funding. The Census Bureau has two programs giving governments opportunities to have their population totals reviewed and adjusted if...

Nancy Mace @NancyMace Today I’m endorsing Donald J. Trump for President. I don’t see eye to eye perfectly with any candidate. And until now I’ve stayed out of it. But the time has come to unite behind our nominee. To be honest, it’s been a complete shit show since he left the White House. Our country needs to reverse all the damage Joe Biden has done. By every barometer, our lives and our nation were better under President Trump. The economy was booming, our border was locked down and our nation and her allies were safer because our adversaries feared...

The Supreme Court let stand former Hunter Biden business associate Devon Archer’s criminal conviction Monday, rejecting for a second time Archer’s bid to avoid prison. In 2018, a federal jury convicted Archer and several others on charges of defrauding a Native American tribe by fraudulently issuing and selling more than $60 million of tribal bonds. In a brief order without explanation, as is typical, the Supreme Court declined to take up Archer’s appeal. The president’s son is not implicated in the case, but Archer has become a key figure in House Republicans’ investigation into Biden’s business dealings. Archer last summer...

A fake robocall impersonating President Biden is encouraging Democrats not to vote in Tuesday's Democratic primary in New Hampshire, raising concerns about misinformation and voter suppression. In the recording, which was obtained by CBS News, a voice that sounds like Mr. Biden's tells Democratic Granite State voters to "save" their vote for the November general election and to stay at home. "Voting this Tuesday only enables Republicans in their quest to elect Donald Trump again," the voice says. "Your vote makes a difference this November, not this Tuesday." It's unclear how many people have received the call, which was first...

Former President Donald Trump’s lead over former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has only grown in the aftermath of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis dropping out of the presidential race, an InsiderAdvantage survey taken Sunday found. According to the results, Trump leads Haley with 62 percent support. That puts him 27 points higher than Haley, who garnered 35 percent support in the Granite State. Another three percent remain undecided, but even if they all went for her, that is far too short to assist Haley in catching up to Trump. The former president’s lead is also well outside of the survey’s...

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 38,000 for the first time on Monday, setting a record high and capping a steady rise that stretches back to last week. The S&P 500 also reached a record high, closing at about 4,850. The tech-heavy Nasdaq inched up to 15,360 by the end of trading on Monday. The major stock indexes kicked off the year with sluggish performance but began to turn upward in the middle of last week. The recent surge follows a stellar showing for markets in 2023, driven in large part by optimism about the prospects for a "soft...

Three of the five former Presidents of the United States have started a new non-governmental organization (NGO) with the explicit purpose of chartering flights to import illegal aliens into the United States. As reported by Just The News, the NGO Miles4Migrants, founded by former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, is teaming up with two other organizations, American Express Global Business Travel and Welcome.US, to expand upon a previous effort that focused solely on Afghan refugees following the disastrous withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan in 2021. Welcome.US was originally launched for the purpose of bringing in...

A member of the US Army with a popular fitness and fashion account on Instagram has died by suicide, devastated friends shared on Saturday. Staff Sgt. Michelle Young, 34, took her own life, leaving behind her 12-year-old daughter, whom friends described as “her whole world” in a heart-wrenching post on GoFundMe. “Michelle was a beautiful soul, an amazing friend, a single mother, a soldier, and is proof you never know what someone is going through or what demons they may be fighting,” friend Sarah Maine wrote on the page. “We will never fill the gaps in our hearts and will...

I have always used Brave browser to do my online banking. Now, when I try to log in using Brave, all my login attempts are rejected and I have to resort to using Safari, which works. I tried to contact Support at Brave, but they have their website so obfuscated as to make it impossible to ask for support (which I'm sure is their intent). Has anyone experienced a similar problem, that Brave is now messing up logging in to a particular website that always used to work?

In an interview for international media, Agam Goldstein-Almog discussed Hamas's psychological torture, starvation, and her encounter with other female hostages in the tunnels beneath Gaza. As soon as Agam Goldstein-Almog (17) was abducted from Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7 in Gaza, she was forced to put on a headscarf and a long dress, commanded to look at the ground, was forced to recite Islamic prayer, and her abductors gave her a name from the Quran, Salsabil, the Washington Post reported on Monday. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday said negotiators have yet to agree on a border security deal that could unlock President Biden’s emergency supplemental request including aid for Ukraine.“We remain hopeful, but it’s certainly not a done deal yet. There are a handful of issues that have not yet been agreed to,” Schumer said on the Senate floor. “On something as complicated as the border, it’s not just what we do that matters, it’s how we do it. So negotiations are not done yet.”Schumer noted that he remained in contact with negotiators throughout the weekend.Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.),...

The Georgia Senate is set this week to authorize a subpoena-powered investigative committee to probe the alleged corruption of Fani Willis, Fulton County’s district attorney, Breitbart News exclusively learned Monday. The potential committee is significant because Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) refused to launch a criminal investigation into Willis last week, citing the need for a currently non-operational oversight committee to open the probe. The proposed Georgia Senate committee could hold subpoena power as soon as later this week to “secure the attendance of witnesses or the production of documents and materials” related to Willis, according to a resolution put...

American consumers, including Democrats and Republicans, are feeling better about the U.S. economy, the University of Michigan's consumer survey showed on Friday, in what could be welcome news for President Joe Biden who has struggled to convince voters that he is best equipped to manage the economy heading into the presidential election in 2024. Consumer sentiment jumped 13 percent in January to its highest level since July 2021. The feeling of confidence about the economy cut across age, income, education, geography and even political affiliation. Democrats and Republicans showed their most favorable readings since the summer of 2021, according to...

Betsy Anderson’s luck with refrigerators stinks as badly as the food she’s tried to keep cold. “One morning I went to get milk out and it was sour,” said the Redwood City homeowner. First, a $2,800 Kenmore Elite fridge — with an LG compressor inside — died in late 2019. “It was like 15 months old,” she said. “It basically stopped working. It wasn’t cold.” Anderson filed for warranty service. But after two months of replacement parts failing, techs canceling service calls, and Thanksgiving approaching, she broke down and bought another fridge: a brand-new LG. Groundhog day: $2K fridge edition...

The Democratic Socialists of America are red all over — with a financial situation so dire that some leaders are demanding job cuts and the layoff of staffers just like a corporate America entity, The Post has learned. The DSA — which has led protests against Israel over the Jewish state’s retaliatory response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack — is deep in a seven-figure hole and desperately in need of a way to stanch the red ink, members acknowledge. “We will cut $500,000 from staff-related expenses. We will first ask for volunteers from both director-level and bargaining unit staff...
