With all of the lies and deceptions we have seen lately in politics, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit a major question from the past. What ever happened to Obama's Birth Certificate? ...

Prayers up. FR is funded solely by contributions made by the liberty loving patriots who love and use it. We are beholden to no political party. No advertisers, no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers. Definitely no government subsidies or tax breaks. No 501c or other IRS non-profit status. This means no commercial ads. No annoying pop-ups. No ad tracking. No mail campaigns. No spam. No third-parties -- not even the IRS -- trying to control what we do or say. We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of God,...

Faculty said they felt trapped in an ‘alternate reality’ when trying to navigate the college’s ‘toxic’ DEI environment.. College students attending universities with restrictive speech codes are used to walking on eggshells and keeping their heads down on campus out of fear of committing social suicide or experiencing violence. In the disordered world of contemporary higher education, Jewish students receive limited, if any, support from school administrators amid explicit calls for violence against them, while other students face punishment for banal infractions like rolling a “free speech ball” around campus. But if you are shocked at how students are subject...

In 2020, the early Democratic primaries were disastrous for former Vice President Joe Biden. He lost the first few states and there was real concern that socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) would become the party’s presidential nominee. At that point, a major party leader, U.S. Congressman James Clyburn (D-SC) stepped forward to single handedly save the Biden campaign and deliver the state of South Carolina to Joe Biden. His endorsement was powerful and effectively ended the nomination contest. After South Carolina’s victory, it was clear sailing for Biden toward the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

How to sum up 2023? Pondering the year gone by, I’m aware of having frequently experienced a sense that America, and to some extent the world, was approaching a day of reckoning – a sense that events on a wide variety of fronts were advancing toward a decisive climax of a yet indeterminate nature. Another way to put this is to say that it was the year in which the enemies of freedom began to practice their perfidy with unprecedented aggressiveness and to purvey their preposterous narrative with a new degree of reckless abandon – even as that perfidy became...

Key Findings | Individual and Community Preparedness Division FEMA has conducted the National Household Survey on Disaster Preparedness annually since 2013 to assess preparedness actions, attitudes and motivations in the United States. Data was collected using a web-based survey written in English and Spanish. 7,604 responses were received. Everyone was asked general disaster and pandemic preparedness questions. Some people identified as being at greater risk for one of the hazards...

There is no such thing as a natural disaster only the failure of humans to prepare for events beyond their control, a United Nations office warns. In a display of almost Orwellian doublespeak, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) further cautions “a hazard can only become a disaster once it impacts on society or community. A hazard is natural, disasters are not.” The words of warning are contained in an online assessment published by the organization, stating at the outset “We often hear about ‘natural disasters’ in the news or from NGOs and international organisations (even some...

President Joe Biden escaped the confines of the White House and the travails of high office for a host of other diversions in 2023, spending more than a third of the past year ensconced at a getaway spot, a report Monday details. According to the New York Post, peripatetic Biden could be found on his absences from Washington, DC, at either one of his Delaware residences, a posh vacation site or Camp David, according to a review of public records by the outlet.

CHATTANOOGA, Saturday. Dec. 19, 1863. It is said that Gen. GRANT has forwarded to Washington his views on the way the war should be conducted in future to insure the earliest and most complete suppression of the rebellion. What these views are in detail, is not of course known; but it may be assumed for a certainty, that the concerted movement of all our armies under one policy, and, so far as practicable, under one direction, is the principal feature of Gen. GRANT'S plan. Assuming that it is true that Gen. Grant has forwarded to Washington his plan, -- and...

Earlier this week, Republican Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine vetoed legislation that would prevent gender transitioning procedures for minors as well as ban biological males from girls' sports teams. The state legislature has the votes to override the veto, but the mainstream media was quick to pick up on DeWine vetoing the "anti-trans" legislation: BREAKING: Ohio Gov. Just weeks before New Hampshire holds its Republican presidential primary, the state’s governor, Chris Sununu, said on Sunday that Chris Christie’s presidential bid was “at an absolute dead end” and suggested that he drop out to pave way for Mr. Sununu’s preferred candidate, Nikki Haley. Mr. Sununu, who this month endorsed Ms. Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and United Nations ambassador, told CNN that “the only person that wants Chris Christie to stay in the race is Donald Trump.” He framed the race as a “two-person contest” between Ms. Haley and Mr. Trump, whom she now trails in...

The Effective Accelerationism movement — a staunchly pro-AI ideology that has Silicon Valley split over how artificial intelligence should be regulated — appears to be walking a razor's edge between being a techno-libertarian philosophy and a nihilistic, even reckless, approach to advancing one of the world's most significant technological developments. ... For e/accs [Effective Accelerationists], the world is simple: AI will solve our problems because we want it to, and we're the ones programming it. Opportunity is endless, and at the end of the AI rainbow is a singularity worth more than gold. A public proponent of Effective Accelerationism who...

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – What a tragic and painful year 2023 turned out to be for Israelis, Palestinians and much of the Middle East. Many of us hoped Israel and Saudi Arabia would forge an historic and transformative peace and normalization treaty. Instead, the forces of Iranian-backed evil were unleashed. More Jews were murdered on Oct. 7 than at any other time in the modern era since the Holocaust. And so many Palestinians have died in the ensuing war, as well. I wish I could tell you that 2024 will be better. But few in our neighborhood believe that. I have...

WASHINGTON ― A second Donald Trump presidency could be more unbound thanks to the changing face of the Republican Party, where traditional GOP stalwarts are gradually being replaced with hard-charging MAGA loyalists eager to defend and amplify his tactics. During his first term in office, Trump squared off with the likes of John McCain, Bob Corker, and Mitt Romney, establishment Republican senators who were often a thorn in his side. Now, many of the lawmakers most likely to push back against his worst instincts are either gone or heading for the exits, and a favorable electoral landscape for the GOP...

Tony Blair, Former Prime Minister of Great Britain, visited Israel last week and met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Minister Ganz. Channel 12 reported that during his meetings in Israel, he stated that he would re-examine the possibility of sending Gazan refugees to countries around the world. Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir congratulated Blair on his suggestion and said that “if Tony Blair heads a team to promote the emigration of Gazan residents to countries around the world, we must commend this initiative.” "This is the most just and moral move, first and foremost for the residents of...
