Tel Aviv — The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry has released harrowing new footage of what it says are conditions inside Al-Shifa hospital. Israeli forces are continuing to pummel northern Gaza in what the IDF says is an effort to wipe out the Islamist militant group once and for all. In a seven-minute graphic video posted on the ministry's Facebook page, an unnamed doctor is seen describing his surroundings as wounded and injured people are strewn across the hospital floor. "The department is completely full of wounded and injured," the unnamed doctor says in the video. "They are on the ground...

More than a dozen children with cancer or other serious blood disorders have been safely evacuated from Gaza after weeks of difficult negotiations involving the U.S., Egypt, Israel and Hamas — but more than 30 remain in the war-torn territory, three doctors involved in the effort tell NBC News. The children, accompanied by parents or companions, were evacuated from the Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospital for Children to hospitals in Egypt and Jordan, the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the World Health Organization said Friday. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, a Democrat, elicited boos and verbal attacks from anti-Israel protesters when walking past them waving an Israeli flag. Boos and shouts of "Shame!" were thrown at Fetterman as he exited the building, waving the Israeli flag while passing progressive protesters from the veterans group About Face calling for a cease-fire amid Israel's war against the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. Several protesters were in the process of being arrested outside the Russell Senate Office Building as Fetterman walked by, while others — including one wearing a keffiyeh, a symbol of Palestinian nationalism — shouted at the senator...

Bernie Marcus, the billionaire co-founder of the Home Depot chain of home improvement stores, has endorsed Donald Trump for president, writing that the GOP front-runner is the best person to restore American prosperity and to dismantle an "administrative state" that he claims is strangling the country. In a scathing assessment of America, Marcus, 94, gave his backing to the former president via an op-ed on Real Clear Politics, writing that he believes the nation is on a perilous trajectory after three years under President Biden’s leadership. He wrote that American cities are crime-ridden, citizens are struggling to pay for necessities,...

The headline comes from a David Burge (“Iowahawk”) Tweet about this letter from Jewish students about events on campus at MIT yesterday:To all students at MIT,Today, Jewish and Israeli MIT students were physically prevented from attending class by a hostile group of pro-Hamas and anti-Israel MIT students that call themselves the CAA [Coalition Against Apartheid, apparently].This is after students from the CAA harassed MIT staff members in their offices for being Jewish and interrupted classes in the past few weeks. All of this has occurred with no clear response from the administration. With each passing day, MIT admin’s silence makes...

MSNBC host Al Sharpton said Friday on “Deadline” that Vice President Kamala Harris “has been tremendously effective on the issue of abortion.” Anchor Nicolle Wallace said, “Joe Biden has said he sees himself as this transitional figure, and there’s no one more front and center that transition is part of the conversation with the country than Kamala Harris, especially on the issue of abortion.”

Once upon a time, Israel did this too—how’d that work out? Just today I penned a blog on news out of Texas that a Trump-appointed federal judge had issued a nationwide stay on the ATF’s pistol brace ban—but the high was short-lived. Allow me to explain: In a move that the Democrats and the bureaucratic left clearly would have anticipated, the judge in that case announced that “public safety concerns must be addressed in ways that are lawful.” Gee, what a concept, the federal government (at least somewhat and sometimes) being held to the supreme law of the land too?...

Moody’s on Friday changed its outlook on the US credit rating to “negative” from “stable” citing large fiscal deficits and a decline in debt affordability. The move follows a rating downgrade of the sovereign by another rating agency, Fitch, earlier this year, which came after months of political brinkmanship around the US debt ceiling.

As many cities have begun to turn away from being “welcoming” or “sanctuary” cities, the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma, seems to be heading in the opposite direction. Activists for migrants were celebrating this week by designating Tulsa as its newest “Welcoming City.” The designation comes after Mayor G.T. Bynum and members of the city council enacted several measures since September to make the city a more desirable destination for illegal migrants.

Hi everybody, I don't get a chance to post here as much any more because my M-F "Today's News" column at www.uncoverdc.com takes a LOT of time. It's free. I usually take the top 20-40 stories in politics, culture, economics, and entertainment, but rely on FR for some really outside stories that the mainstream Hoax News media misses---and of course I add my own nick names and spin. (My two favorites are Nick Knack Paddywhack Give a Uke a Bomb for Haley and White Lizzo for Christy). At any rates, just thought I'd drop in with a few thoughts. *The...

Everything is dirty. Nothing works. But everything’s also more expensive. And oh, by the way, you don’t have privacy anymore...That is how I described life in the US to a friend who had been living abroad for a bit more than a decade when we met up earlier this year during his brief return to the states. We’re not a first world country anymore, I told him. Hopefully our decline stops somewhere around second world, I half-joked. That’s probably the best we can hope for.Earlier that evening over dinner at what was once our regular spot, he told me of...

A Department of Defense spokesman explained Washington’s current goals in the Middle East. Since Israel launched a massive military operation in Gaza, the US has deployed thousands of troops and a large host of naval ships to the region. According to a press release outlining Gen. Pat Ryder’s statement, the Pentagon’s four priorities for the Middle East currently are: “Protection of US forces and citizens in the region.”“Flow of critical security assistance to Israel as it defends against further Hamas terrorist attacks.” “Coordination with the Israelis to help secure the release of hostages held by Hamas, to include American citizens.”“Strengthening...

Israel must stop killing babies and women in Gaza, French President Emmanuel Macron has told the BBC. In an exclusive interview at the Elysee Palace, he said there was "no justification for the bombing, saying a ceasefire would benefit Israel. While recognizing Israel's right to protect itself, "we do urge them to stop this bombing" in Gaza, he said. But he also stressed that France "clearly condemns" the "terrorist" actions of Hamas... Speaking the day after a humanitarian aid conference in Paris about the war in Gaza, Mr. Macron said the "clear conclusion" of all governments and agencies present at...
