The most important thing to know is that London is 15% Muslim. That’s far from a majority, but Muslims need a lot of what the Nazis used to call “Lebensraum”—that is, territory where they dominate the local population. Flexing their muscles, they act as if 15% is a majority and the general population, made ignorant by leftism and scared by the threat of jihad, accepts its status as a minority. If you understand these principles, you will appreciate the different approaches the London police have to things that call for Jewish genocide (that’s fine) and things that offend Muslim sensibilities...

Next week, Issue 1 is on the ballot in Ohio. This proposed constitutional amendment would place legal abortion in Ohio’s state constitution. One of the key arguments made by pro-lifers in opposition to Issue 1 is that it would jeopardize many popular pro-life protections currently in place and specifically Ohio’s pro-life parental-involvement law. Indeed, if voters approve Issue 1, pro-lifers argue, judges could strike down Ohio’s parental-consent law and minor girls would be able to obtain abortions without parental permission. Ohio media outlets that have covered Issue 1 have made a concerted effort to downplay these concerns raised by pro-lifers....

According to sofi.com “Harvard University is known for being one of the oldest (if not the oldest) institutions of higher learning in the United States. Harvard tuition, which was $57,261 a year in 2022-23, is above the national average for four-year private nonprofit institutions of $39,400, though a high number of students receive student loans or scholarships to cover this cost.” In contrast, the ancient writer of proverbs tells us this. “Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?” (Pr 17:16)

A fiend strangled a woman from behind – causing her to black out – in a heinous, apparently unprovoked attack in the East Village last week, cops said. The 25-year-old woman was walking near Houston Street and Avenue D around 4:10 a.m. on Oct. 22 when an unidentified approached and strangled her from behind, police said. The sudden attack caused the victim to fall to the ground and black out briefly, authorities said. When the woman got back on her feet, her assailant ran off toward Avenue C, police said.

Food delivery service DoorDash has warned its customers that not tipping their drivers may lead to delayed deliveries. The largest food delivery company in the United States warned in a since-deleted post to X that because its drivers can see which orders carry tips, and are free to take the jobs they want to, they may not be incentivized to take lower-value gigs. DoorDash, which currently holds 65% of the online meal delivery market in the US, said that it was testing out a new pop-up warning that encouraged its users to leave a tip. The Verge reported that adding...

The system isn’t broken — it’s working as exactly intendedAs long as the right is arguing with the stated goal instead of stopping the real purpose of a policy, the left wins. One of the key faults of conservative political analysis has been its focus on stated goals instead of true purpose revealed through actions. Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, recently declared on X (formerly Twitter): “Mass migration has failed.” “Oh no my friend,” I quickly replied, “it has succeeded at its actual goal.” Kirk is correct that mass migration has been a disaster for citizens of the...

Five months into its counter-offensive, Ukraine has managed to advance by just 17 kilometres. Russia fought for ten months around Bakhmut in the east “to take a town six by six kilometres”. Sharing his first comprehensive assessment of the campaign with The Economist in an interview this week, Ukraine’s commander-in-chief, General Valery Zaluzhny, says the battlefield reminds him of the great conflict of a century ago. “Just like in the first world war we have reached the level of technology that puts us into a stalemate,” he says. The general concludes that it would take a massive technological leap to...

A vast majority of the Big Ten coaches expressed their frustrations with the ongoing signal-stealing investigation at Michigan in a video call with commissioner Tony Petitti on Wednesday, sources told ESPN. The call, which took 90 minutes, included nearly an hour without Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, who hung up after the regularly scheduled Big Ten business to allow the conference's coaches to speak freely about the NCAA's investigation into Michigan. According to five sources familiar with the call, a chorus of voices encouraged Petitti to take action against Michigan in a call that was described as both intense and emotional....

Joe Biden was last night confronted by a bearded female rabbi who demanded a ceasefire in Gaza - leaving the president claiming he had asked for a 'pause.' Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg stood up during his speech in Minnesota and told the president: 'As a rabbi, I need you to call for a ceasefire right now.' Biden told her: 'I think we need a pause. A pause means give time to get the prisoners out.'

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then...

Los Angeles, CA, October 31, 2023 – In the wake of the recent Islamic terror attack by Hamas on innocent Israelis and Jews, the Islamic extremist group Hizb ut-Tahrir organized a rally in Los Angeles, where their disturbing rhetoric and radical intentions came to light.Hizb ut-Tahrir, which translates to the “Party of Liberation,” is a pan-Islamist, fundamentalist organization with the goal of re-establishing the Islamic Caliphate, governed by Islamic law and a caliph chosen by Muslims. Their objectives include the promotion of Islam and the implementation of Sharia law, even through the use of violence if necessary.Over the past week,...

Banner headline events almost always flow from quieter real-life causes, and the worst attack on Israel in fifty years is not an exception. The coordinated raids and massacres on October 7 were possible only because of more subtle interventions over two and a half years in rooms at the State Department and the White House, with indirect help from nonprofits like the Soros-funded International Crisis Group. These interventions were driven by a small network of government and interest group insiders whose actions have gone unreported in establishment media. Though their further consequences aren’t yet clear, they’ll almost certainly involve a...

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — People younger than 18 have been barred from visiting this year’s World Press Photo exhibition in Budapest, after Hungary’s right-wing populist government determined that some of its photos violate a contentious law restricting LGBTQ+ content. The prestigious global photo exhibition, on display in Hungary’s National Museum in Budapest, receives more than 4 million visitors from around the world every year. Showcasing outstanding photojournalism, its mission is to bring visual coverage of a range of important events to a global audience. But a set of five photos by Filipino photojournalist Hannah Reyes Morales led a far-right Hungarian...

The outpouring of hate in the West is a continuation of a long tradition of blaming the Jews for everything—including their own misfortunes. Reich Marshal Hermann Goering was the Minister of Economy in the Third Reich. There are records of a meeting he held with top insurance executives shortly after the Kristllnacht attacks of November, 1938. The large-scale destruction of homes and businesses led to enormous losses for the Jews. It was said that three years of Belgian glass production would be required to replace all of the windows shattered by the Brown Shirts and their civilian partners. During this...

Disgraced former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) has revealed that members of his own family have disowned him. The lawmaker-turned-social media personality claims he received a “certified letter” from members of his family informing him that they were officially “disowning” him. Kinzinger dropped the claim during a Monday interview with CNN. The ex-congressman, who was a member of the Democrats’ anti-Trump Jan6 Committee, says his family suggested he can no longer be trusted. “So, I had family that sent a certified letter disowning me.” He claims his family had turned against him because of remarks made by Fox News television...

The alliance between the international left and Islamic groups has been strong for years, only suffering some strains recently over the left’s insistence on pushing the trans madness and related insanities upon the rest of us. But leftists have generally tended to ally with victimhood propaganda organizations such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), not with out-and-out jihadis. However, as we see an ugly recrudescence of antisemitism around the world in the wake of the Hamas jihad massacres of Oct. 7, one far-left American professor has crossed the line and unhesitatingly named Hamas and Hizballah as allies of...

I have been wondering for a long time just when and how my academic discipline of sociology was going to hit bottom, to cross over from being merely deeply troubled and cognitively impaired to enter fully into a state of true madness. Maybe I will be able to date that decisive moment to Oct. 22 or 23, 2023, when a group of sociologists released an open letter entitled “Sociologists in Solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian People.” This document is in equal parts vicious anti-Semitic conspiracy theory and moronically lopsided “analysis” of facts and events.LinkedIn saw numerous sociologists sharing the...

[Make sure to read Robert Spencer’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]Many people are seeing the war between Israel and Hamas as an apocalyptic showdown between good and evil, and there is good reason to see it that way. And as has so often been the case, Donald Trump enunciated what many others were thinking but didn’t dare to say.Trump: “The fight between Israel and Hamas is between civilization and savagery, between good and evil. There is no comparison between a group that worships death and a group that cherishes life. Every...
