TheRealBiffBifford/X A British reporter became visibly angry in the face of a Polish MP explaining why his country hasn't allowed illegal immigration under the guise of refugee status, an issue that is now swamping most other European nations. Cathy Newman, who many may recognize as the same reporter whom Jordan Peterson famously embarrassed, was practically wagging her finger at Dominik Tarczyski, demanding to know how many "refugees" Poland had taken in. His answer left her fuming and calling him a racist. He then let her know exactly how much he cares about those kinds of charges.NEWMAN: How many refugees...

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is now signaling that he supports Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) as the next Speaker of the House. As we reported just under two weeks ago, McCarthy was ousted by House members in a Motion to Vacate by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL). As my colleague, Ward Clark wrote on Friday, Jordan defeated Rep. Austin Scott (R-GA) to secure the nomination:In an earlier vote, Speaker candidate and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) won the nomination but then failed to secure enough votes to guarantee a majority on the House floor, ultimately resulting in his decision...

Israeli authorities are reporting that they have killed Ali Qadhi, the senior Hamas commander who executed the deadly attacks within Israel last Saturday. As videos showed, Hamas commandos paraglided into a music festival near the Gaza border and began killing people indiscriminately while taking others hostage. According to the Israeli Air Force, a drone strike was conducted that killed Qadhi based on recent intelligence of his whereabouts. The Israeli Air Force says it killed a senior commander in Hamas' commando forces, one who planned the terror attacks that massacred 1,300 Israelis on Oct. 7.The IAF said a drone strike killed...

Credit: RNC ResearchJoe Biden provided a reprieve from the news surrounding Israel's fight against Hamas on Saturday evening as he delivered a buffet of senility during his latest speech. The president was appearing at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner when things went downhill. It's worth noting that the HRC is a rabidly anti-Israel (and anti-conservative) organization that has sought to make excuses for Hamas, but regardless, that's not what this piece is about. Rather, we are here to discuss how this man is still president. Biden's brain malfunctions in real-time pic.twitter.com/7flOzpZl31— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) October 14, 2023The crowd does...

Around the world people are assiduously following news coverage of the 2023 Israeli War with HAMAS in Gaza wondering if this heinous terror attack on unsuspecting Israeli civilians will escalate into a regional conflict or worse. Apocalyptic scenes of young Israelis at an all night Rave Concert greeted at sunrise by a terrorist Special Ops attack from Gaza are ubiquitous. Many questions linger, like how could one of the most technologically advanced militaries in the world be completely caught off guard? How could 7th century knuckle dragging savages pull off such a sophisticated maneuver in daylight? Over the next weeks...

A CHEERFUL HEART IS GOOD MEDICINE Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Which came first the chicken or the egg? We may never know the answer to this question, but when it comes to living a fulfilled life, the joy precedes the good feelings. As a matter of fact, the joy is the antidote to the woes of life. Humor is great medicine. Humor helps us to see the big picture. It provides us with a new context by which to view our situation. It gives us a...

The invasion of Gaza was initially planned for the weekend, but was delayed by a few days at least in part because of cloudy conditions that would have made it harder for Israeli pilots and drone operators to provide ground forces with air cover, the officers said. - NYT pic.twitter.com/K8jnqSOmmw— Faytuks News Δ (@Faytuks) October 14, 2023

Money — you don't bring it with you when you're born and you can't take it with you when you die. That's the philosophy of retired Singaporean businessman Loh Kiong Poot. And it's not just idle talk either. According to 8world, the 79-year-old revealed that he has pledged some $20 million of his fortune to 10 charities upon his death. Loh added that he had drawn up the will when he was in his 50s. The sum is currently invested in bonds, but has been pre-designated to 10 beneficiaries. He explained that he'd done so as he believed his three...

The New York state authorities have rejected a request by Orsted, BP, and Equinor for raising the price of electricity in future power purchase contracts featuring offshore wind energy.Offshore wind developers have been pressured by rising raw material and component costs, and higher borrowing costs, which has cast doubt over the viability of many projects. Indeed, Reuters reported that some projects planned for the waters off the coast of New York may need to be reconsidered in light of the authorities’ decision."Sunrise Wind's viability and therefore ability to be constructed are extremely challenged without this adjustment," Orsted told Reuters.Sunrise Wind...

America’s renters - more than one-third of the nation’s households - are in for trouble. Left-wing politicians are demanding rent regulation from coast to coast. Wherever it is adopted, the result will be a disastrous reduction in the rental housing supply, leaving renters desperate for places to live.New York is the poster child for the failures of rent regulation. The U.S. Supreme Court is currently mulling a challenge to the constitutionality of the city’s rent regime.Whatever the justices decide, the public needs to consider less destructive, more targeted ways to help low-income people pay for housing. The court of public...

One of the most telling statistics from the General Social Survey, is that Americans are having less sex now than they did in 1980s and 1990s. Young men especially have become less sexually active. Since 2008, the share of men under 30 reporting no sex at all has nearly tripled. This stat is one of the clearest signs of what has turned into a counterintuitive but reliable pattern. The more “liberated” and “progressive” our culture becomes, the less interested in or capable of finding human partners we become. I say, “human partners,” because the decline of sex and the rise...

Most diners looking to get their money's worth would usually opt for all-you-can-eat buffets and target the expensive food options such as seafood and meat. But a group of six boys in China decided to indulge in one restaurant's offer of free-flow beverages instead — collectively chugging down a whopping 111 bottles of sour plum drink. A video of the boys posted on Chinese social media showed the group leaving behind numerous empty glass bottles, which were neatly lined up in rows after their drinking spree on Tuesday (Oct 10). Staff of the hotpot buffet restaurant located in Xi'an, Shaanxi...

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is known around the Big Apple for many things, but testicular fortitude hasn’t been one of them, until Saturday. Adams gave a brief speech where he stepped up and went to bat for Israel at a time when many leftists are screaming insanities about Israel launching a “disproportionate response” to Hamas’ recent savagery, though I can’t personally think of a response that could match the depravity of mass rapes, people being burned alive, and children massacred. “Thank you. Thank you. And I am not going to be long. I’m going to give you four...

Campus Reform recently reported that the Swarthmore chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) called the Hamas terrorists who butchered thousands of innocent Israelis (and others, including Americans) “martyrs” and affirmed the “right of Palestinian people to resist.” Which reportedly prompted Swarthmore College President Val Smith to issue a statement in which she called the students’ praise of Hamas terror actions examples of the “free exchange of diverse ideas and perspectives” that “we embrace” as a “liberal arts institution.” (Which renders ridiculous Smith’s claim that “hateful rhetoric and calls for violence have no place at Swarthmore.”)One post on ‘X’...

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australians resoundingly rejected on Saturday a referendum proposal to create an advocacy committee to offer advice to Parliament on policies that affect Indigenous people — the nation's most disadvantaged ethnic minority. The government proposed the first constitutional change since 1977 as a step forward in Indigenous rights. But the vote divided Indigenous leaders as well as the wider community. More than 59% of voters opposed the so-called Voice to Parliament with almost half the votes counted by Saturday. The loss is unofficial but is not contested. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese blamed his political opponents' campaigning against...

Cindy Flash — a 67-year-old Minnesota native — and her 66-year-old husband, Igal Flash, were among more than 1,300 people murdered by Saturday’s brutal Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. Flash’s family described her as a “staunch advocate for the rights of Palestinians” and an outspoken opponent of Israeli military action. -snip Keren said her mother protested “whenever there was a military operation” conducted by Israel because she felt “you don’t treat human beings like that, no matter what their religious belief is and what their ethnicity is.” -snip The Flashes were among those who withdrew into a safe room in...

In August, The Hill, a climate-change-embracing publication, published an article by Glenn C. Altschuler, insisting that “Climate Deniers Are Entitled To Their Own Opinions But Not Their Own Facts.” When it comes to facts, though, who is really advancing his own facts about what’s going on with the Earth’s climate? The article promises a brief summary of facts about climate change and its effect on the lives and livelihoods of all Americans.” Below, I’ve taken each of Altschuler’s “facts” and exposed them to actual facts.CLAIM:2023 is likely to be the hottest year on record, and possibly the hottest in 100,000...

The attorneys for John Gomes, who is challenging the results of Bridgeport’s recent Democratic mayoral primary, called two key witnesses to the stand on Friday in court, but both declined to answer questions, exerting their Fifth Amendment right against potential self-incrimination. William Bloss, Gomes’ lawyer in the high-profile election lawsuit, spent 37 minutes questioning Wanda Geter-Pataky, who sat mostly silent on the witness stand as she watched video clips that apparently feature herself placing absentee ballots into a drop box. [snip] The only questions Geter-Pataky did answer involved her job at City Hall. She was recently placed on paid administrative...
