Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced the start of an impeachment inquiry Tuesday into President Joe Biden over his family’s businesses. But he stopped short of calling for a vote to authorize the inquiry. The problem: Republicans argued during the first impeachment of President Donald Trump that Democrats could not use Congress to subpoena the White House until the House had voted to authorize an impeachment inquiry. In fact, that argument was a major part of President Trump’s defense against the charge that he obstructed Congress by refusing to comply with subpoenas issued before an inquiry had been...

Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “José Díaz-Balart Reports” that House Republicans who want to move forward with the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden are “owned” by former President Donald Trump. Wasserman Schultz said, “Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans, the extreme MAGA wing. That’s what this is about. They are succumbing to Donald Trump, and they are allowing Donald Trump to hold our economy hostage. They are giving in to their extreme MAGA wing, and they will potentially, likely crash our economy.” She continued, “They are afraid. They know they have nothing there, that there has...

Stop complaining about President Joe Biden’s economy, Americans! You’re wealthier than ever! Yes, CNN reached new heights of gaslighting when it tried to sell that line with a straight face to readers. CNN Reporter and in-house Bidenomics shill Matt Egan ran a false story riddled with utter nonsense. “Americans have never been wealthier,” read Egan’s headline. “Fueled by a resurgent stock market and rising home values, US household wealth hit a record $154.3 trillion during the second quarter of this year, according to federal data.” But as Heritage Foundation economist EJ Antoni bluntly put it, CNN’s framing was flat-out “wrong.”...

As many as 10,000 people are feared dead after a storm slammed into Libya, unleashing a devastating surge of floodwaters across the country's east. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said the $6 billion in funds the U.S. agreed to unfreeze in exchange for five U.S. prisoners will be spent “wherever we need it,” despite the Biden administration saying the funds are restricted to humanitarian use. When asked in an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt about the funds, Raisi said Iran would have “authority” over how the funds will be spent. “This money belongs to the Iranian people, the Iranian government, so the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide what to do with this money,” he said, according to an Iranian government translator.

Former Packers star Aaron Rodgers ran onto the field on the 22-year anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, carrying a massive American flag. The New York Jets crowd went bananas seeing their new quarterback take the field in the first game of the season. Four plays into the game Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon and will miss the rest of the season. The Dems hate Rodgers because he refused to take the COVID vaccine. So when the future Hall of Famer went down they proved they truly are ghouls and mocked the guy. One Dem Twitter...

The invasive red fire ant, or Solenopsis invicta, has been found in Europe for the first time and unless quickly halted could quickly alter the continent's ecosystems, researchers reported Monday. Photo by Insects Unlocked/Wikimedia Commons ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sept. 11 (UPI) -- The red imported fire ant, classified as one of the worst and costliest invasive species in the world, has been spotted in Europe for the first time, researchers warned Monday. Although there have been several "interceptions" of the destructive and stinging South American ant species previously in Europe, an established, mature colony had never been found on the continent until...

The Means: Why do Democrats want open borders? The answer is straightforward, POWER! It’s simple really, more people necessitates a ‘need’ for more government. The current migrant caravan story is just the latest example. We’ve been in an illegal immigration crisis for decades, with tens of millions of people entering the country illegally. So follow with me now – more people, more government. And what’s the point of an open border? To invite illegal immigration. And who are illegal immigrants? Of necessity, they are typically people who have very little. They probably don’t speak the language. They don’t have jobs...

Failed presidential candidate Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) approved of the impeachment inquiry launched into President Joe Biden on Tuesday. “The fact that the White House has been singularly silent and coddled Hunter Biden suggests an inquiry is not inappropriate,” Romney told reporters House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) launched an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden for “abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption.” McCarthy said House investigators found that Joe Biden lied about his involvement in the family business and that bank records show many payments were directed to the Biden family members through shell companies. He also noted an FBI informant...

From the Lowell (Mass.) Patriot, September 18, 1835 — channeling, as the headling indicates, the Boston Morning Post. In addition to a wanton overuse of commas, this article’s casual alternation between the interchangeable spellings of “Marshal” and “Marshall” is [sic]. The piracy at issue was the subject of a previous Executed Today post. Francisco Ruiz, the carpenter of the Spanish piratical schooner Panda, who was distinguished above his brother buccaneers, by his pre-eminence in guilt, and violence, in the robbery of the Mexican, and yet had succeeded outliving them a few months, and prolonging a miserable existence in jail, by...

The RAF's fleet of combat aircraft is so small it would be wiped out if Britain went to war against Vladimir Putin, according to a parliamentary report. There are so few Typhoon jets and F-35s that the fleet could not withstand the 'levels of attrition' that would occur. The UK has just 169 frontline jets to Russia's 1,500 and, after repeated post-Cold War cutbacks, our fleet is also smaller than that of our European allies.

VIDEOBy far, the two most prominent of the J6 people were Ray Epps and the "Scaffold Commander" who was urging people via bullhorn to go forward into the Capitol from atop a scaffold on January 6, 2021. Despite his prominent role on J6 captured on multiple videos the FBI did not seem at all interested in him despite going out their way to track down and arrest peaceful grandmothers who who were invited into the Capitol by the Capitol police. In addition, of all the protestors from that day Epps is the ONLY one who...

Church by the Glades in Coral Springs, FL, is the embodiment of instituting worldly entertainment in the pathetic hope of catching the attention of wayward goatlings and luring them into staying. Known for their extravagant attempts to keep their members entertained, in the past few months alone, the 8000- member Southern Baptist megachurch led by David Hughes played a Beyonce song about Dominatrixes, a cover of Run D.M.C’s sleazy and sexual song Walk this Way in church, performed Kendrick Lamar’s N95, only cleaned up and sanitized for church audiences, removing the curse words and racial epitaphs for a sermon illustration,...

A Food and Drug Administration panel today unanimously ruled that a medicine used by millions for a stuffy nose does not work. Phenylephrine is the most common active compound in over-the-counter drugs like Benadryl Allergy Plus Congestion, Sudafed PE, and Tylenol Cold and Flu Severe Day & Night. But an FDA panel said after a two-day review that the oral decongestant ‘is not effective’ at standard or even high doses. Their ruling is not binding but it strongly suggests that the agency could soon heed their advice and pull its approval, which would force companies to pull or reformulate their...

Former North Point Community Church Pastor Clay Scroggins, a protégé of the ever-deconstructing Andy Stanley, stepped down from North Point in 2021 to found his own leadership marketing company. During his long tenure at various North Point Ministry positions, Scroggins turned a blind eye to Stanley’s constant Bible-twisting practices and even did some of his own. In his various roles, Scroggins took the liberty of parading sexual deviants in front of the church to tell their ‘stories,’ baptizing them as believers while refusing to acknowledge that these unregenerate individuals desperately needed a call to repentance. Since Scroggins left the church,...

So many people in the US are using and abusing laxatives that it’s caused a national shortage. Just like many health-related problems of today's world, the dwindling stockpiles of pooping pills can be explained by a mixture of terrible diets, questionable internet trends, the nation’s aging population, and strains on mental health. The US is currently experiencing a scarcity of polyethylene glycol 3350, the prime compound found in many big brand laxative products like MiraLAX and Glycolax Some pharmaceutical companies have even reportedly started building new factories, in part, to boost the production of the sought-after compound. Polyethylene glycol eases...
