If the name Kychelle Del Rosario rings a bell, congratulations on a truly excellent memory for egregious academic-medical wokeness. For the rest of us, a refresher course may be in order. On March 29, 2022, Del Rosario, a fourth-year medical student at Wake Forest, tweeted about her interaction with a patient during what should have been a routine blood draw. According to the med student’s own account, the patient in question noticed Del Rosario’s “She/Her” pronoun pin, laughed, and expressed consternation that any such identifier should be necessary. In response, Del Rosario intentionally “missed [the patient’s] vein so he had...

The Republican establishment must awaken from its coma and begin unmasking the Democrats’ reign of terror gainst their political adversaries. Never in the 235 years since the ratification of the Constitution has an administration premeditatively and blatantly prosecuted, on specious and conjecturable charges, the titular leader of the opposition party and leading candidate for president. And doing so while overtly flaunting their egregious actions to protect and cover-up for the incumbent president who has been exposed as potentially complicit in massive bribery and fraud. In any previous election cycle, these overt and unabashed actions would have been the death knell...

SEATTLE — Vice President Kamala Harris created some unintentional irony on Tuesday, during her brief stop in Seattle. She appeared at the McKinstry warehouse in a gymnasium that was not air conditioned, and of all things, talked about the weather. Her fans, were without fans, and sweated through their suits and dresses to hear her talk about climate change. “Every day around the world, the impact of the climate crisis is stark, and it is vivid. We are seeing it in real time,” said the vice president, as part of a 13-minute speech that was centered on the Biden Administration’s...

... One year ago, Democrats in Congress passed the Inflation Reduction Act. It provided an unprecedented $370 billion for climate action, which could create up to 9 million new jobs over the next decade – and it’s expected that those numbers could grow. When all is said and done, we believe it will signal a turning point not just in America’s clean energy economy, but in New York’s clean energy job creation, too. But ever since the Inflation Reduction Act was enacted, extremists in Washington have sought to unravel it. It’s strikingly similar to what they tried to do to...

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Transgender rights take center stage in North Carolina again Wednesday as GOP supermajorities in the General Assembly attempt to override the governor’s vetoes of legislation banning gender-affirming health care for minors and limiting transgender participation in school sports. The state House will hold the first of two votes Wednesday afternoon in a bid to enact the bills over Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s opposition. If House Republicans quickly muster the votes needed, the Senate might aim to complete the override with a decisive final vote Wednesday evening, the Senate leader’s office said. The GOP holds veto-proof majorities...

The world is on fire. The devastating wildfires in Maui have led to at least 99 deaths with many hundreds more people unaccounted for and injured. We have seen homes and livelihoods destroyed and hospitals overwhelmed with smoke and burn victims. These wildfires, fanned by winds from Hurricane Dora after years of drought, have undoubtedly been made worse by climate change. We need to wake up to the fact that climate change is driving a vicious cycle of extreme weather conditions that are killing people. Without a doubt, the climate crisis is also a health crisis. We must start reducing...

Workers in the Nancy Pelosi Federal Building in San Francisco were told to work from home indefinitely given conditions in the downtown area. The building, at the intersection of Seventh and Mission streets, is home to the office of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, as well as the local branches of several federal agencies. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, building workers received a memo penned by Cheryl Campbell — an assistant secretary with the Department of Health and Human Services — on Aug. 4. It advised workers to stay home “for the foreseeable future” because of crime in the...

Hunter Biden attorney Christopher Clark is withdrawing from representing the president’s son in a Delaware probe, pointing to a continuing legal battle over a plea agreement in the tax case that dissolved before it could be approved by a judge. Clark’s notice to the court indicates he could be a witness in coming challenges over the disintegration of the deal, which the Justice Department moved to withdraw minutes after Attorney General Merrick Garland elevated Delaware prosecutor David Weiss to serve as a special counsel in the matter. “Based on recent developments, it appears that the negotiation and drafting of the...

This is the German version of how WW2 got started in Europe Now, as far as I am concerned, Adolf Hitler was a goofball and a slave to his own racist ideology and if there was a reason for anybody to like the guy, I wouldn't know what it was. Nonetheless, if anybody were to ask me who started WW2 in Europe, I'd not hesitate to answer the British and the Poles. Pat Buchanan has said that the Brits were handing out war guarantees like they were cotton candy at the time and stopped the Poles from dealing with Germany...

Children who lived closer to natural gas wells in heavily drilled western Pennsylvania were more likely to develop a relatively rare form of cancer, and nearby residents of all ages had an increased chance of severe asthma reactions, researchers said in reports released Tuesday evening. The taxpayer-funded research by the University of Pittsburgh adds to a body of evidence suggesting links between the gas industry and certain health problems. In the reports, the researchers found what they called significant associations between gas industry activity and two ailments: asthma, and lymphoma in children, who are relatively rarely diagnosed with this type...

Officials in California are facing fierce scrutiny over increasing crime as some federal employees are being told to work from home over fears surrounding public safety. Independent journalist Erica Sandberg described what she called utter "mayhem" in San Francisco during "Fox & Friends" as state workers were reportedly told to work remotely. "What we're seeing right now is a matter of just mayhem with not enough police officers on the beat... not empowering stores to do what they need to do in order to stop this," she told Ainsley Earhardt Tuesday. "You shouldn't let people into the store who are...

It is important to remember that three months before his departure, a Southern Baptist task force determined that Moore’s organization was “a source of significant distraction from the Great Commission work of Southern Baptists.” The report cited things like participating in the partially Soros-funded Evangelical Immigration Table, filing an amicus brief to support a mosque, failing to support the religious liberty of California churches during Covid-19, and a general tone of condescension and unresponsiveness. Moore’s opposition to President Trump was only factor in determining mission drift. [2] This lack of self-awareness on Moore’s part can almost be considered the theme...
