Residents of a Chicago neighborhood angrily denounced their local officials over the crime overflowing from illegal aliens at a shelter, and some are threatening vigilante violence if nothing is done soon. More than 50 residents of the Woodlawn neighborhood attended the community meeting at Apostolic Church of God to express their outrage over prostitution, drug dealing, and violence from a migrant shelter set up at the former Wadsworth High School building. "I would ask you all to go out there — go out there at night, in the middle of the night — and see what goes on," said one...

The case of a Fort Worth patient’s quest to treat his COVID-19 with ivermectin, and a Houston doctor’s determination to prescribe him the drug, is headed to a rare hearing where a state agency will argue that the doctor broke the law. The Texas Medical Board filed a formal complaint against Dr. Mary Talley Bowden in April, accusing her of unprofessional conduct when she allegedly prescribed ivermectin to a man at Texas Health Huguley Hospital where she did not have privileges. She also did not properly review the patient’s medical history or the patient himself, according to the complaint. The...

This is one issue that I’ve been wrestling with here for several years now. For the longest time, Americans grew used to placing their trust in the medical profession. When you ran into a health problem, you went to see a doctor or perhaps get checked in at a hospital. While not all care is equal, actual doctors were assumed to know a lot more than the layman and were bound by a professional code of ethics to “do the right thing” and to “first do no harm.” They were far more trusted than politicians and for good reason. But...

Jenn Johnson, who, along with her husband, Brian, is one of the senior worship pastors at the infamously blasphemous charismatic Bethel Church in Redding, California. Bethel, which is known for its parlor tricks, false manifestations of the Holy Spirit, and cultish practice of raising the dead and “grave sucking,” is no stranger to controversy. This time, Jenn Johnson, a female “pastor” who is on stage mocking the throne of God, says that angels sit around the throne of God having “farting contests.” It really doesn’t get much more blasphemous than that. Jenn goes on to say that this is “who...

UPS employees are edging closer to a major work stoppage that could be the biggest the United States has seen since the 1950s. The approximately 330,000 UPS drivers, loaders and handlers who are represented by the Teamsters Union on Wednesday rejected a final offer by the company as "unacceptable" in early July, CBS reports. Talks are now being presumed as the group's labor contract runs out at the end of the month.Strikes and work stoppages have returned as a mainstay of U.S. news among recent high profile walkouts, for example at the Writers Guild of America, among newly unionized Starbucks...

What with all of the robberies, shootings, gang violence, and crazy people pushing subway riders onto the tracks, you might imagine that the NYPD wouldn’t be paying much attention to something like prostitution. And you would be correct. For a number of reasons, the world’s oldest profession has been “deprioritized” as a crime on the streets of New York. But that’s not because prostitution has gone away. In fact, just the opposite is the case. Roosevelt Avenue in the Corona neighborhood of Queens has turned into a mecca for brothels and the johns looking to patronize them. The situation has...

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. Kris Valloton is the Co-founder of the School of the Prophets and Senior Associate Leader of Bethel Church. No stranger to saying weird and wacky things, he’s previously taught that Adam Was ‘Procreating With God’ and ‘Co-Creating’ When He Named the Animals and that God made Adam ‘Male’ AND ‘Female’ + Adam’ co-created Eve.’ He recently reposted a message he gave at the 2007 School of Prophets, claiming that modern-day prophecies “become worlds” and “change people’s destiny,” saying the only reason Israel is still not in “bondage” today in Babylon is that the prophet Daniel was prophesying and creating a...

You would think that this would get a bit more attention than it has. It certainly piqued my interest when I saw it.A China-linked company ran a grossly unsafe bio lab filled with deadly pathogens in a supposedly empty warehouse in Fresno, California. A company without much of a backstory, addresses that don’t exist, and a president who can only be reached by email.China-linked Bio Lab in Fresno Co, California Had Over 900 Mice “Genetically Engineered to Catch and Carry the Covid-19 Virus” https://t.co/SAvzAx53gU— The Gateway Pundit (@gatewaypundit) July 29, 2023No, this is not the plot of a bad movie....

Bruce Springsteen is having the ticket year from heck. The most recent issue making headlines has to do with hundreds of fans getting denied access to a recent show thanks to ticket fraud. Many of the “Born in the U.S.A.” singer’s fans at a show in Munich, Germany, on Sunday (July 23) were denied access to the Munich Olympic Stadium after buying fake tickets, according to reports. The counterfeit tickets were purchased online for upwards of €600, the fans said. According to Live Nation spokesperson Katharina Wenisch, there were some 200 to 300 concertgoers who had to be turned away,...

Alvin Bragg can’t say he’s the best, but he can say he’s first. That was obviously the motivation behind his highly questionable indictment of Donald Trump on state-level charges for miscategorizing a hush money payment to Stormy Daniels. In early April, Bragg moved forward under a novel legal theory that supposes he can elevate a misdemeanor that has already passed the statute of limitations to a felony under the idea that Trump committed the misdemeanor in service of another crime. What is the other alleged crime? A federal campaign finance law that Bragg has no jurisdiction over and which the Department...

The tweet read: “If you’re wondering the end goal of the deconstruction movement in the church, then look no further than former worship leader @derekwebb’s new collab with a drag queen. These are truly the last days.” In response to that missive from Christian musician and failed Congressional candidate Sean Feucht sent out to his 100,000 followers, fans made one of those collaborations, “Good Day,” hit the top spot on the Christian iTunes chart briefly last night. The album it’s on, Flamy Grant’s Bible Belt Baby, still sits at #1 on the album chart. The irony is that Derek Webb,...

Starting next year, Americans will need one more document in order to enter countries in the European Union. To visit, you'll have to apply for approval under the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS). You will apply online, and the authorization, which will be linked to your passport, will account for short-term stays, including up to 90 days in a 180-day period. In addition to adding some hassle, this requirement will make a family vacation slightly more expensive. Applications will cost 7 euros, which right now is close to $8. The ETIAS website says that "most" applications are processed in...

In 2023, Social Security benefits got an 8.7% COLA, the largest cost-of-living adjustment since 1981. According to the United States Social Security Administration (SSA), "COLAs are based on increases in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W)." So, when inflation starts to cool, that means a lower cost-of-living adjustment for Social Security recipients. Currently, inflation is at its lowest level in two years, dropping to a 12-month rate of 3.0% in June. This is down from 4.0% in May and 4.9% in April. David Payne, staff economist from the Kiplinger Letter, forecasts a 3% Social...

As Republicans in the House of Representatives continue to push for an investigation into the sales of Hunter Biden’s artwork, Business Insider published a report on Monday that claimed to reveal at least two buyers of these pieces: Democratic donor Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali and Kevin Morris, a financial backer and friend of Biden. Though President Joe Biden vowed that official duties would remain separate from his family affairs, his son’s art patrons appear to be politically and personally linked. Hirsh Naftali, Los Angeles real estate investor and philanthropist, has donated $13,414 to the Biden campaign and $29,700 to the Democratic...

Despite being largely what she’s come to be known for, Yoko Ono’s relationship with John Lennon was a just fraction of her story. Ono’s legacy as a pioneer of avant-gardist art was something others noticed about her early on. She knew that she was an outsider and that her tastes were ‘different’, but it wasn’t until after the Second World War ended that it became something she embraced “aggressively”. After completing university as the first woman to ever enter the philosophy program at Gakushuin University, Ono moved to New York City, where she found herself in the throws of bohemianism...

A new study involving over 700,000 U.S. veterans reports that people who adopt eight healthy lifestyle habits by middle age can expect to live substantially longer than those with few or none of these habits. The eight habits are: being physically active, being free from opioid addiction, not smoking, managing stress, having a good diet, not regularly binge drinking, having good sleep hygiene, and having positive social relationships. According to the results, men who have all eight habits at age 40 would be predicted to live an average of 24 years longer than men with none of these habits. For...

Jamal Bryant is a political idealogue who cosplays as a Senior pastor every Sunday morning at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which is quite an ironic name for a church that is pro-abortion and preaches the twisted false gospel of Liberation theology. A left-wing goat of a pastor and serial adulterer, Bryant is known for his leftist political antics. When Roe v. Wade was recently overturned by the Supreme court, Bryant decried the decision to allow states to restrict abortion as “racist” in a baby dedication Sunday sermon, claiming that the elimination of abortion would somehow increase the black infant...
