(NASA's Scientific Visualization Studio) We know human activity is inflating the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere at record rates, restricting the radiation of heat into space and contributing to the overall warming of the planet. Invisible as they are, the ebb and flow of carbon emissions can be hard to wrap our heads around – but not so with new visualizations released by NASA's Scientific Visualization Studio. These jaw-dropping videos demonstrate precisely where the majority of this critical greenhouse gas is being released, and how that changes over the course of a single year. There are three videos...

The case against Ron DeSantis from a Democrat’s perspective is straightforward and uncomplicated. For one thing, he’s a Republican. And not just any Republican: DeSantis has been one of the most odious and destructive governors in America since January 2019. He has been a vocal opponent not just of efforts to end the Covid-19 pandemic but of the vaccine that did more to control it than anything else; his anti-vaccine advocacy has also spurred on anti-vaccine activists’ assault on safe, protective measures to control diseases like mumps and polio. He has relentlessly attacked his state’s LGBTQ population, signing draconian bills...

Dozens of LGBTQ+ pride flags were damaged and ripped down at the Stonewall National Monument over the weekend, the third such bout of vandalism at the LGBTQ+ landmark during this Pride month, police said. The latest occurrence happened Sunday, after others on June 9 and last Thursday. No arrests have been made in any of the incidents, and it’s unclear whether they were connected. The New York Police Department’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating. On Sunday, officers were called around 8 a.m. and found about 33 pride flags broken and tossed to the ground, police said. Park volunteer Steven...

Groundwater extraction and redistribution by humans caused the Earth’s rotational pole to shift nearly a meter in two decades (1993-2010), contributing to a sea level rise, reveals a study in Geophysical Research Letters. The most water redistribution occurred in western North America and northwestern India, and efforts to reduce groundwater depletion in such areas could theoretically affect this shift. The phenomenon doesn’t risk shifting seasons but could impact climate over geological time scales. The shifting of mass and consequent sea level rise due to groundwater withdrawal has caused the Earth’s rotational pole to wander nearly a meter in two decades....

Haaretz reported about the clashes in Jenin yesterday, and fully accepted the idea that unseen snipers shooting towards the journalists were Israeli and not Palestinian. .. What is certain is that trained, professional soldiers do not fire wildly and randomly. They might mistake a target but they fire at targets. The random fire described in the Haaretz article is far more likely from Jenin terrorists, whom we know will fire without even looking at their target.

Hunter Biden swimming with a hooker and J6 Defendant Pam Hamphill a cancer survivor and grandmother. News broke on Tuesday morning that Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to multiple criminal charges according to CNN. After five years of investigation the Biden DOJ found Hunter Biden guilty of TWO MISDEMEANORS and ONE GUN CHARGE! The laptop also contained evidence that Hunter and Joe Biden were involved in multi-million dollar foreign bribery schemes. And, of course, the...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

A former classmate from Yale recently told me “monogamy is kind of outdated” and not good for society. So I asked her what her background is and if she planned to marry. She said she comes from an affluent family and works at a well-known technology company. Yes, she personally intends to have a monogamous marriage — but quickly added that marriage shouldn’t have to be for everyone. She was raised by a traditional family. She planned on having a traditional family. But she maintained that traditional families are old-fashioned and society should “evolve” beyond them. What could explain this?...

Hunter Biden’s plea deal with United States Attorney David Weiss appears to exclude the alleged Biden $10 million “bribery” scheme an FBI informant documented and that Weiss reportedly obtained from former Attorney General William Barr. Hunter Biden on Tuesday agreed to plead guilty to two federal tax violation charges and one violation of gun laws, per reports Tuesday morning. The decision of whether to ultimately charge Hunter Biden was up to Donald Trump-appointed United States Attorney David Weiss. In March, Attorney General Merrick Garland said he would personally have to authorize any potential charges against Hunter Biden.

Tuesday, during an appearance on FNC’s “America’s Newsroom” after the announcement of the plea deal for Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, Fox News legal analyst and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley warned the perception of the agreement would not be well received by many. According to Turley, given the avoidance of jail and the lack of a mention of serious charges, the deal would reinforce the belief that there is a double standard within federal law enforcement.

Manny Medina, the chief executive of a Seattle-based artificial intelligence sales company, doesn’t mind repeating himself. It comes with the territory, after all. That tolerance proved convenient this year as he faced the same question innumerable times. Wait, so why was it you wanted us back in the office? The engineers reminded him of their commutes. The working parents reminded him of school pickup times. Mr. Medina replied with arguments he has delineated so often that they have come to feel like personal mantras: Being near each other makes the work better. Mr. Medina approached three years of mushy remote-plus-office...

The man busted for the hit-and-run crash that killed five young women getting ready for a wedding in Minnesota is the son of a fiery Black Lives Matter protest leader-turned-politician — who was ultimately booted by the Democrats over his shocking history of domestic violence arrests. Derrick Thompson, 27 — the son of ex-state rep. John Thompson — was busted on suspicion of murder Monday over the horrifying caught-on-camera crash that killed Sabiriin Ali, 17, Sahra Gesaade, 20, Salma Abdikadir, 20, Sagal Hersi, 19, and Siham Adam, 19. He already has a long history of convictions — including a felony...

Former US Attorney Brett L. Tolman slammed the plea deal walking scandal Hunter Biden just got with the Department of Justice that will see the former crackhead avoid all jail time and not see any charges stemming from his foreign business dealings. Tolman said: “DOJ is violating its own internal policies on this case. The Ashcroft Memo requires they charge the “highest provable offense” and seek consistent sentences with other cases brought by DOJ. This prosecution is an absolute laughable joke. “Thousands have been sent to prison for long terms for the same charges. They are ignoring decades of policy...

As Matt Margolis pointed out Saturday, Old Joe Biden signed off his ramblings at the National Safer Communities Summit at the University of Hartford by saying, “God save the queen, man.” It was just the latest in a lengthy string of bizarre and often incomprehensible things the putative leader of the free world has said, going back to Corn Pop and Lying, Dog-Faced Pony Soldier, and exhausted Biden regime aides are now throwing in the towel. After two and a half years of doing everything they could to make the figurehead appear coherent, they’re admitting that, just like the rest...

After the Biden regime announced yesterday they would let Communist China invade Taiwan, we learn today that they are willing to let our greatest enemy to build a military base right at our doorstep. The Wall Street Journal reported that Cuba and China are negotiating to establish a joint trining facility on island. this will lead to Chinese forces being established just off the Florida coast. Cuba is positioned just 90 miles south of Florida. The talks are at an advanced stage at the moment but have not yet concluded according to the Journal report. The Biden regime’s only move...
