It just dropped to the shallow end right at the bottom in a ball," Broad told Global News. Broad and his wife drained...

Women ages 45 years and older taking estrogen hormone therapy in pill form were more likely to develop high blood pressure than those using transdermal (topical, applied to the skin) or vaginal formulations, according to research. First, researchers investigated the relationship between route of estrogen-only hormone therapy administration and risk of developing high blood pressure at least one year after starting the...

A video has emerged that shows BlackRock’s chairman and CEO Larry Fink gloating to an audience about his plans to infiltrate society, via corporate America, with “woke” ideologies to “force behaviors” of the public. Fink, a member of the globalist World Economic Forum (WEF), is a leading advocate of the radical Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores movement. ESG is a set of far-left criteria that pressures companies to become more “woke” to meet the standards. As Slay News reported in January, Twitter boss Elon Musk famously blasted ESGs by remarking that the “S in ESG stands for Satanic.” According...

More than 55 million people across the Northeast, Midwest and mid-Atlantic in the US are under air quality alerts as wildfire smoke originating from Canada shrouds major US cities. Prepared Floor Remarks by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa To the Biden Justice Department and FBI: Quit Playing Games with the American People Tuesday, June 6, 2023 12 min video Once again, I’m here to discuss my constitutional oversight of the Justice Department and the FBI. It surely has been a very busy year thus far for congressional oversight, and let me say, rightly so. That’s the way it should be. We know, first, Congress passes laws. But Congress can’t stop there. We’ve got to make sure that Congress follows up to guarantee under our check and balances of our...

Patients with advanced kidney cancer are routinely given immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) as first-line treatment. The CONTACT-03, phase 3 clinical trial tested the effects of giving ICIs again, as part of a standard second-line therapy. It is the first trial of its kind to compare a standard therapy alone (cabozantinib) to standard therapy plus an ICI (atezolizumab plus cabozantinib) in solid tumors that have progressed after first-line therapy with an ICI. Patients taking atezolizumab plus cabozantinib did not experience longer progression free survival or overall survival compared with those taking cabozantinib alone. An examination of subgroups of patients based on...

"Forget the campaign trail: the real Trump-DeSantis fight is spilling out on Twitter. Conservative influencers who support the respective campaigns are duking it out on Elon Musk’s app — and it’s getting personal." (snip) Then there’s radio host Clay Travis, the Outkick and the Coverage founder, who was busted attending a DeSantis donor event. Travis claimed he attends events for different candidates all the time so he can hear from them directly, that the events inform his coverage on the radio and that he is not endorsing anyone in the primary. A video later surfaced of Travis actually giving a...

A batch of Nazi war criminals highlighted by four condemned at the Einsatzgruppen trial hanged at Germany’s Landsberg Prison on this date in 1951. Formed initially to decapitate Polish intelligentsia when Germany invaded that country in 1939, these notorious paramilitaries were deployed by Reinhard Heydrich behind the advancing German line of battle to pacify occupied territory. “Pacify” in the event meant slaying Communists, partisans, and of course, the Reich’s innumerable racial inferiors. Einsatzgruppen authored many mass executions like the massacre of Jews at Babi Yar outside Kiev, each local atrocity a self-conscious contribution to the wholesale genocide. All told these...

The Republican National Committee says it remains committed to fighting against new laws to expand mass pre-election voting but, in some states, ballot harvesting is already the law — and Democrats are using it to run up voting leads in too many critical elections. So, under the leadership of Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, the RNC is looking to beat Democrats at their own game in states where ballot harvesting is legal while pushing for more Republicans to vote early by mail or in-person. Building off of the RNC's 2022 election integrity operations, McDaniel wrote that the GOP will continue "leveraging tens...

It’s a rare day when we get to say something nice about Europe when it comes to social issues, particularly when comparing those nations to the United States. But there is one area where they are leading the way and leaving America in the dust. Multiple European countries over the past year or more have conducted thorough scientific research resulting in policies that largely ban transgender “medical care” for children. The latest to join the crowd was Norway. They have now ruled that professional guidance encouraging puberty blockers or sex-change surgery for children should be “restricted to research settings only.”...

Former Attorney General Bill Barr has denied a claim by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) that the Justice Department in 2020 “terminated the investigation” into allegations that President Biden was involved in a $5 million bribery scheme during his days in the Obama White House. “It’s not true. It wasn’t closed down,” Barr told The Federalist on Tuesday of an FBI informant’s allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden took the money in exchange for policy decisions. “On the contrary, it was sent to Delaware for further investigation.” Raskin, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, claimed to reporters Monday that...

A few top Republican senators, critics of former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid, are fearful of the growing GOP primary field that appears to benefit Trump’s nomination chances. The 2024 primary field grew to seven candidates with the most recent entrance of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) but could swell to about ten candidates in the coming weeks, triggering Republican senators to worry about a rerun of the 2016 primary when the large field of candidates failed to establish enough support to overcome Trump’s solid share of the electorate to cruise to the nomination. Before DeSantis entered the race on May 24,...
