Just a few weeks after Special Counsel John Durham revealed significant failures to investigate allegations against Hillary Clinton’s family charity, a U.S. Tax Court judge has once again breathed new life into a years-long whistleblower case alleging IRS improprieties involving the controversial Clinton Foundation. U.S. Tax Court Judge David Gustafson has already once before denied an IRS request to dismiss the whistleblower case, first brought in 2017. And three years ago, he ordered the tax agency to reveal whether it criminally investigated the foundation, citing a mysterious "gap" in its records. The IRS filed a new motion to dismiss, and...

The special powers were introduced in March 2022 to battle powerful street gangs based in El Salvador in the President Nayib Bukele's 'war on gangs'. None of those who died, which included four women with the rest being men, had been convicted of a crime they were accused of at the time of their arrest, according to the report by Central American human rights group Cristosal. The report by the NGO said that...

When Governor Murphy and the New Jersey Democrats rushed a flurry of gun laws through the legislature last June of 2022, one of the laws rammed through was under the guise of banning guns with no serial numbers. This law banned millions of rifles, shotguns, handguns, hunting guns, target shooting guns, military surplus guns, and virtually ALL muzzleloaders, black powder guns, antique guns, air guns and BB guns. There are NO exceptions and there is NO grandfathering. This was the largest gun ban ever passed in the history of the United States. The law bans ALL firearms with a “…firearm frame or...

Please note: this article was pulled down offline from Forbes. I will let you draw your own conclusions as to why. Factually, there was no justification for it. This list could be closer to 50 but let’s just stick to a handful of them. I literally live in this business every day, and I’m just so confused. 1. In a world that is apparently getting both warmer and colder because of global warming, how is it that we can increasingly rely on non-dispatchable (i.e., intermittent, usually unavailable), weather-dependent electricity from wind and solar plants to displace, not just supplement, dispatchable...

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, a key member the House Freedom Caucus (HFC), indicated Tuesday that if Republicans do not stop the debt deal in committee he would consider ousting Kevin McCarthy from leadership as House speaker. In an interview with Glenn Beck on "BlazeTV" Tuesday morning, Roy called the debt limit deal that McCarthy, R-Calif., struck over the weekend with the White House a "betrayal of the power-sharing arrangement that we put in place" – that is to say, the promises McCarthy made to the HFC to give him the votes needed to secure him the speakership after a 15-voting-round...

In the small print detailing the end of the debt ceiling melodrama which, as we explained, is a farce as it boosts inflation-adjusted spending contrary to Republican promises, there was some actual news: the great student loan boondoggle is about to come to a screeching halt, after a three year "emergency pause" which redirected tens of billions in dollars away from mandatory student loan repayment to other forms of discretionary spending.According to Goldman, the agreement announced on Saturday between uniparty leaders Joe Biden and Kevin McCarthy titled hilariously the “Fiscal Responsibility Act”, prohibits the Biden Administration from extending the pause...

CBO says that Deal would expand a welfare program. Fox News Digital asked Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., for her reaction to the CBO update as the congresswoman was leaving a closed-door conference meeting. She replied sarcastically, "Yay debt." The simple answer is the CBO got it wrong," House Financial Services Chair Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., said at a late night press conference.

It wasn’t just Spanish boaters feeling blindsided and rudely attacked this past week. Like the yachts sailing through the Straights of Gibraltar who ran into orcas with attitudes schooled in the arts of maritime destruction by a she-whale named White Gladis, the ruling Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) – led by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez – received a thumping of epic proportions this past Saturday. The results have stove in a section of the Socialist hull, left them rudderless, and they are bailing water madly.Spain’s ruling Socialists suffered heavy losses to opposition conservatives in Sunday’s local election, with around 95%...

The trend has been called a retail exodus. In the past few months there have been more than a dozen store closures in downtown San Francisco. I’ve written about the closure of a flagship Whole Foods which made 568 calls to 911 over the 13 months it was open. A 300,000 square foot Nordstroms is closing as is Office Depot, Anthropologie, Saks Off 5th and many more. The SF Chronicle put together this map showing the recent closures. And last week another major retailer announced it was closing up. Old Navy will be shutting down its San Francisco store this summer.The...

CNN spoke with four women who “married themselves” — a self-marriage officially referred to as “sologamy.” The left-leaning news outlet painted “sologamy” as pertaining more to mental health and “self-love.” rather than an extension of living an “auto-sexual” lifestyle — being sexually attracted to oneself — which has been addressed in other news articles on the topic. “The concept of self-marriage, or sologamy, has been around for years…No data exists on how many people celebrate sologamy with ceremonies, but the practice has been explored in a handful of recent news articles,” CNN reported. The women interviewed “described the act as...
