Schools can be an unwelcoming, isolating place for transgender teachers, between the male- and female-assigned restrooms and the layers of red tape when it comes to changing personal information in data systems. Yet educators say there are steps that school leaders can take to make transgender teachers feel more included. Sam Long, a high school biology teacher who is transgender, produced a video on the five best practices to support and learn from trans educators.

The day before a key meeting last year between a lawyer for former President Donald Trump and officials seeking the return of classified documents in Trump’s possession, a maintenance worker at the former president’s private club saw an aide moving boxes into a storage room, according to a person familiar with the matter. The maintenance worker offered to help the aide — Walt Nauta, who was Trump’s valet in the White House — move the boxes and ended up lending him a hand. But the worker had no idea what was inside the boxes, the person familiar with the matter...

In Ionia, Michigan, Judge Suzanne Hoseth Kreeger gave zero jail time to someone who shot an 84-year-old womanIn Ionia, Michigan, Judge Suzanne Hoseth Kreeger gave zero jail time to someone who shot an 84-year-old woman. In my opinion, this judge is more evil than the shooter. The shooter is just a dumb civilian. But the judge is someone who is in power. It is their job to protect innocent people from violent scumbags such as this. And I don’t care if the shooting was “accidental” or deliberate. I put the word “accidental” in quotes because there is no such thing as an...

A friend attending David Zaslav's party during the Cannes Film Festival noted that a lack of megayachts in the harbor was a sign of a recession.Well, folks. It’s official. According to some of David Zaslav’s rich buddies, we have formally entered a recession, and the proof is in the megayachts. In a tweet that’s currently circulating Twitter, a screenshot of a recent Wall Street Journal article shows that one of Zaslav’s billionaire friends is mourning the fact that there aren’t more megayachts visible at the Cannes Festival and is taking this as a sign that the economy is in bad...

We'll title the Thursday edition of Nicolle Wallace's MSNBC show, "The Spy Who Came In From the 18th Hole." The show keyed off a Washington Post article reporting that Trump staffers at Mar-a-Lago moved papers the day before an FBI visit to retrieve classified documents, and that Trump "at times kept classified documents in his office in a place where they were visible and sometimes showed them to others." But whereas that Post article made no mention of a Saudi connection, Wallace's show spun a dark conspiracy theory, insinuating that Trump might have made classified documents available to the Saudis...

Discovery took the stage in Boston for the commencement speech for the class of 2023.David Zaslav was met with boos and angry chants from students after taking the stage at Boston University on Sunday to accept his honorary degree and give the 2023 commencement speech. Those cries began as early as the Warner Bros. Discovery CEO’s introduction by BU President Robert A. Brown during the 150th commencement exercises at Nickerson Field. As Brown spoke to Zaslav’s “passion for documenting and sharing the human story on a global scale,” the chants and booing immediately picked up,...

(AP) — A man who drove the car that helped pull down the statue of a Civil War hero and abolitionist outside of the Wisconsin state Capitol during a night of protests in 2020 has been sentenced to six months in jail. The statue of Hans Christian Heg was toppled and beheaded during a protest in downtown Madison in June 2020 against police brutality. Protests began a month earlier over the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police and flared up again that June after Madison police arrested a Black activist. Kelsey D. Nelson, 33, was sentenced for...

TORONTO — Despite staggering intellect and deep study of God's Word, psychologist/professor/author/speaker/room-cleaning enthusiast Dr. Jordan B. Peterson has resolved to stubbornly consider every possible tangential meaning of Bible stories except for the notion that it actually just means what it's saying. "The death of Jesus Christ is a brilliant symbol," Peterson said in a new episode of his Daily Wire series studying the Bible. "Does the narrative of Jesus's death on the cross actually mean that the Son of God gave His own life for our sins? Like, no way, man! What it shows is an archetypical manifestation of mankind's...

Well, here's some news we could have used, I don't know, over a year ago when Elmo was on TV telling kids it's totally safe and effective for young people to get the Fauci ouchie. This new Journal of the American Medical Association study shows what those kooky right-wing conspiracy theorists have been talking about for a long time: The Covid jab is not totally safe for young people. The FDA helped to fund this JAMA study which, in essence, showed that the risks for pericarditis and myocarditis was especially prevalent for young people immediately after getting the experimental Covid...

Former President Obama touted several new Minnesota laws as a “giant leap forward” and a “reminder that elections have consequences” on Friday after the Democrat-controlled Legislature concluded a jam-packed session earlier this week. “Earlier this year, Democrats took control of the State Senate by one seat after winning a race by just 321 votes,” Obama tweeted. “It gave Democrats control of both chambers of the state legislature and the governor’s mansion.” “Since then, Minnesota has made progress on a whole host of issues — from protecting abortion rights and new gun safety measures to expanding access to the ballot and...

Newly unearthed text messages suggest President Joe Biden may have been involved in his son and brother's business deals with the Chinese, DailyMail.com can reveal. Two weeks after a 2018 New York Times story exposed Hunter Biden's connections to a corrupt Chinese Communist Party-linked oil firm CEFC, his uncle Jim Biden texted him saying: 'you need a safe harbor' and 'I can work with you[r] father alone!' The text messages, saved on Hunter's abandoned laptop, are the latest in a growing body of evidence tying the President to Hunter's shady overseas business deals.

Targeted groups and individuals were fired up over MRC Free Speech America’s bombshell report exposing President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security for weaponizing tax dollars against Americans. MRC Free Speech America exclusively obtained documents through its Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) project that unveiled a DHS scheme to use its “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP) to go after conservatives, Christians and the Republican Party. DHS funding financed “media literacy and online critical thinking initiatives” and other so-called training seminars as part of a coordinated effort to effectively transform America into a one-party state. In the most...

Disney is under fire for 'wokery' slipped into its live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, which is projected to bring in $100 million for the company despite mixed reviews this Memorial Day weekend. Critics and audiences have given the reboot of the 1989 animated classic 'average' and 'unfavorable' reviews on ratings site Metacritic. Some bash the makers' efforts to update the film to contemporary social mores. Naysayers have focussed on tweaks to the plot and lyrics that play around with sex, ethnicity and cultural values to make the 125-minute remake fit with Disney's progressive politics.

Disinformation and counter-extremism programs have become little more than tools for suppressing the political opposition. With DHS handing out grants to study extremism, the Media Research Center has information on what may be the single most explicit attempt at using counter-extremism funding to go after the opposition. Under the Trump administration, the “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP) was used to prevent terrorism, but it was revamped under the Biden administration and renamed to provide funding for localities to combat “all forms of terrorism and targeted violence.” Instead of focusing on preventing actual violence and terrorism, the program...

With tensions rising in the South China Sea, there are fears a China-linked advanced persistent threat group’s (APT) infiltration of critical U.S. infrastructure could be a precursor to an attack on Western military communication links in Asia. Microsoft has discovered a “stealthy and targeted” campaign affecting organizations across a range of industries, carried out by what it says is a state-sponsored China-based APT group. The group, which Microsoft calls Volt Typhoon, has been active since mid-2021 and has successfully targeted critical infrastructure organizations in Guam and elsewhere in the United States. “Microsoft assesses with moderate confidence that this Volt Typhoon...

The Space Launch System's booster and engine are now projected to cost at least $13.1 billion over 25 years. An independent report looking into the development of NASA's new moon rocket has found significant cost overruns and delays that could harm the agency's plans to put astronauts back on the moon. Development of the Space Launch System (SLS) began in November 2011. It had a successful test flight in November 2022, six years after its first targeting a debut launch in late 2016. The SLS megarocket is intended to return humans to the moon as part of NASA's Artemis program,...
