TORONTO — Despite staggering intellect and deep study of God's Word, psychologist/professor/author/speaker/room-cleaning enthusiast Dr. Jordan B. Peterson has resolved to stubbornly consider every possible tangential meaning of Bible stories except for the notion that it actually just means what it's saying. "The death of Jesus Christ is a brilliant symbol," Peterson said in a new episode of his Daily Wire series studying the Bible. "Does the narrative of Jesus's death on the cross actually mean that the Son of God gave His own life for our sins? Like, no way, man! What it shows is an archetypical manifestation of mankind's...

Well, here's some news we could have used, I don't know, over a year ago when Elmo was on TV telling kids it's totally safe and effective for young people to get the Fauci ouchie. This new Journal of the American Medical Association study shows what those kooky right-wing conspiracy theorists have been talking about for a long time: The Covid jab is not totally safe for young people. The FDA helped to fund this JAMA study which, in essence, showed that the risks for pericarditis and myocarditis was especially prevalent for young people immediately after getting the experimental Covid...

Former President Obama touted several new Minnesota laws as a “giant leap forward” and a “reminder that elections have consequences” on Friday after the Democrat-controlled Legislature concluded a jam-packed session earlier this week. “Earlier this year, Democrats took control of the State Senate by one seat after winning a race by just 321 votes,” Obama tweeted. “It gave Democrats control of both chambers of the state legislature and the governor’s mansion.” “Since then, Minnesota has made progress on a whole host of issues — from protecting abortion rights and new gun safety measures to expanding access to the ballot and...

Newly unearthed text messages suggest President Joe Biden may have been involved in his son and brother's business deals with the Chinese, DailyMail.com can reveal. Two weeks after a 2018 New York Times story exposed Hunter Biden's connections to a corrupt Chinese Communist Party-linked oil firm CEFC, his uncle Jim Biden texted him saying: 'you need a safe harbor' and 'I can work with you[r] father alone!' The text messages, saved on Hunter's abandoned laptop, are the latest in a growing body of evidence tying the President to Hunter's shady overseas business deals.

Targeted groups and individuals were fired up over MRC Free Speech America’s bombshell report exposing President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security for weaponizing tax dollars against Americans. MRC Free Speech America exclusively obtained documents through its Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) project that unveiled a DHS scheme to use its “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP) to go after conservatives, Christians and the Republican Party. DHS funding financed “media literacy and online critical thinking initiatives” and other so-called training seminars as part of a coordinated effort to effectively transform America into a one-party state. In the most...

Disney is under fire for 'wokery' slipped into its live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, which is projected to bring in $100 million for the company despite mixed reviews this Memorial Day weekend. Critics and audiences have given the reboot of the 1989 animated classic 'average' and 'unfavorable' reviews on ratings site Metacritic. Some bash the makers' efforts to update the film to contemporary social mores. Naysayers have focussed on tweaks to the plot and lyrics that play around with sex, ethnicity and cultural values to make the 125-minute remake fit with Disney's progressive politics.

Disinformation and counter-extremism programs have become little more than tools for suppressing the political opposition. With DHS handing out grants to study extremism, the Media Research Center has information on what may be the single most explicit attempt at using counter-extremism funding to go after the opposition. Under the Trump administration, the “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP) was used to prevent terrorism, but it was revamped under the Biden administration and renamed to provide funding for localities to combat “all forms of terrorism and targeted violence.” Instead of focusing on preventing actual violence and terrorism, the program...

With tensions rising in the South China Sea, there are fears a China-linked advanced persistent threat group’s (APT) infiltration of critical U.S. infrastructure could be a precursor to an attack on Western military communication links in Asia. Microsoft has discovered a “stealthy and targeted” campaign affecting organizations across a range of industries, carried out by what it says is a state-sponsored China-based APT group. The group, which Microsoft calls Volt Typhoon, has been active since mid-2021 and has successfully targeted critical infrastructure organizations in Guam and elsewhere in the United States. “Microsoft assesses with moderate confidence that this Volt Typhoon...

The Space Launch System's booster and engine are now projected to cost at least $13.1 billion over 25 years. An independent report looking into the development of NASA's new moon rocket has found significant cost overruns and delays that could harm the agency's plans to put astronauts back on the moon. Development of the Space Launch System (SLS) began in November 2011. It had a successful test flight in November 2022, six years after its first targeting a debut launch in late 2016. The SLS megarocket is intended to return humans to the moon as part of NASA's Artemis program,...

Henry Kissinger, whose very name is synonymous with US diplomacy, turns 100 Saturday feted by the American elite as others seethe that the ruthless Cold Warrior has never faced accountability. From opening the door to communist China to plotting an endgame to the Vietnam War to unapologetically backing dictators who were anti-Soviet, Kissinger wielded influence like few before or after him, serving as both top diplomat and security advisor to presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. Instantly recognizable for his bookishly thick glasses and a sharp-witted monotone that never lost a touch of his native German, Kissinger was first an...

A gauge of consumer prices closely watched by the Federal Reserve showed inflation accelerating in April. The personal consumption expenditure (PCE) price index rose 0.4 percent in April, up from the 0.1 percent rise a month earlier. Economists had forecast a milder increase to 0.3 percent. Compared with April of last year, the PCE price index is up 4,4 percent, a faster annual pace of inflation than the 4.2 percent recorded in March. Core PCE prices, a gauge that excludes the volatile categories of food and energy, also rose by 0.4 percent. Many economists look to core prices as a...

A social media influencer who claimed she is the first woman to travel to every country in the world is being sued by a consumer protection group. Cassie De Pecol, who boasts over 500,000 Instagram followers, reportedly claimed that she was the first woman to travel to every country in the world - despite several others claiming to have done so before her. A lawsuit from consumer protection group Travelers United alleges that the 32-year-old used these claims to grow her audience and to cash in on sponsorships, according to The Washington Post. Columnist Taylor Lorenz wrote: "The truth is...

Explanation: Galaxies of the Virgo Cluster are scattered across this nearly 4 degree wide telescopic field of view. About 50 million light-years distant, the Virgo Cluster is the closest large galaxy cluster to our own local galaxy group. Prominent here are Virgo's bright elliptical galaxies Messier catalog, M87 at bottom center, and M84 and M86 (top to bottom) near top left. M84 and M86 are recognized as part of Markarian's Chain, a visually striking line-up of galaxies on the left side of this frame. Near the middle of the chain lies an intriguing interacting pair of galaxies, NGC 4438 and...

As Target continues to endure backlash over its newly launched “Pride” line of clothing and merchandise for kids, the retail giant is not alone in carrying woke wares for children and teens. Similar items that have prompted some to call for the “Bud Light treatment” of Target can also be found at Walmart, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Old Navy, The Gap, Apple, and many more. North Face, a popular go-to for high-quality outdoor gear, has taken what some see as an especially deep dive into retail radicalism with its “Summer of Pride” campaign. Tracy Holmes, who lives in central Pennsylvania, told The...

Connecticut’s Democrat-run House voted Thursday to expand the state’s “assault weapons” ban to include firearms that were exempted when the ban was originally passed. The CT Mirror noted that Connecticut’s General Assembly has passed two “assault weapons” bans, and each time, the bans had a grandfather clause, allowing those who already owned the banned firearms to keep them. On December 11, 2022, Breitbart News reported that Gov. Ned Lamont (D) pushed an expansion of the current ban to eliminate the grandfather clause exempting firearms that Democrats defined as “assault weapons”

TRUMP: Ron DeSantis is "better than most Democrat governors, but very average at best compared to Republican governors...Even Cuomo did better [on COVID]." Look, I fully understand that it's campaign season, and hardcore supporters of various candidates will cheer their guy or gal no matter what. But...Is there a solitary Republican in the country who would choose New York's approach over Florida's? It's preposterous. Trump doesn't believe it himself, of course, but he's willing to say anything. And it's very rich coming from a guy who deferred endlessly to people like Dr. Fauci, whom Trump awarded with a presidential medal...
