Americans’ views of the housing market hit an all-time low this year with more than three-quarters saying it’s a bad time to buy a home, according to a new poll. Gallup’s annual Economy and Personal Finance poll found that just 21 percent of U.S. adults believe it’s a good time to buy a home – marking only the second time since the poll’s inception in 1978 that fewer than half of survey respondents believed it was a good time to buy. The highest confidence level in the poll’s history was recorded in 2003 before falling off in the run-up to...

The internal Department of Agriculture (USDA) communications — obtained by Americans for Public Trust (APT) and shared with Fox News Digital — show that Kessler was involved in initiatives to "transform" the U.S. food system and to crack down on the meat industry for high prices. Kessler was the only individual on the email chains who wasn't affiliated with the USDA. "These emails reveal that Eric Kessler has direct access to Biden cabinet officials and plays an intimate role in shaping this administration’s agenda," APT executive director Caitlin Sutherland told Fox News Digital. "As the architect and operator of the...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday signed into law a bill that outlaws spending on diversity, equity and inclusion programs at public colleges and universities, saying at a news conference the “whole experiment of DEI is coming to an end in the state of Florida.” The sweeping legislation, HB 999/SB 266, states public institutions “may not expend any state or federal funds to promote, support, or maintain any programs or campus activities that … advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, or promote or engage in political or social activism.” It’s one of three bills the governor signed Monday as part...

It would be wrong to say that the dust has settled from the May 6 municipal elections, since there was never much dust kicked up in the first place. But something important happened that you might have missed, and it signals a shift in our politics in the region. You had to be paying close attention to school board races in Frisco, Plano and McKinney to catch it. But, in a nutshell, voters in those cities rejected candidates who represent a conservative movement aimed at taking control of local government offices, and especially school boards, in the suburbs. In Frisco,...

MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann said Monday on “Deadline” that he believed special counsel John Durham’s probe into the origins of the FBI investigation into former President Donald Trump’s potential ties to the Russian government was a “big fat nothing.” Weissmann said, “If John Durham was really just doing an investigation to talk about what are better policies and practices that the FBI could have and was depoliticizing it, I would have been all for that and said great. You know what, there’s no agency that can’t use greater scrutiny. But this was trying to say that there’s a big...

A California bill that would provide unemployment benefits to illegal immigrants is set for review this week as the Golden State braces for an influx of migrants following Title 42's expiration. SB 227, or the Safety Net for All Workers Act, would provide laid-off illegal immigrants with $300 per week for up to 20 weeks with funds from state coffers. In March, the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted a resolution supporting the statewide bill. "We cannot take people’s money, take people’s taxes, take people’s labor and then deny them the very benefits and rights that they deserve and...

The agreement, which has currently allocated $1,011,625 in taxpayer funds, could potentially be increased to a total of $1,980,750 and extended until March of next year. The State Department awarded the grant to Bizzell Corp, a logistics firm based out of Wyoming, to “manufacture and delivery of dugout shelters for the...

Sofia Colucci, the chief marketing officer of Molson Coors Beverage, which owns Miller Lite, has a past of supporting liberal causes such as gun control, protests for George Floyd, illegal immigration and the COVID-19 vaccine, social media posts reviewed by the Daily Caller found. Miller Lite released an ad on March 7 titled, “Bad $#!T to Good $#!T,” which goes after the beer industry for its supposed sexism against women. The ad has drawn recent criticism after Bud Light’s promotion of transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney showed off a beer can with the influencer’s face on it. They also released...

A 12-year-old boy has been charged with murder for allegedly gunning down a Sonic restaurant worker in Texas with an assault rifle. The deadly confrontation at the Sonic Drive-In in Keene began after 32-year-old employee Mathew Davis spotted a 20-year-old man urinating in the parking lot Saturday night, NBC-DFW reported, citing police. During the scuffle, the 12-year-old boy who was sitting inside Gomez’s car allegedly fired six rounds from an assault rifle, striking Davis.

Fox News would have people believe that reparations are: "monetary compensation for slavery." Not only is that a demonstrably asinine and incorrect definition of the word, it's foundational ignorance that fosters antipathy. Reparations are defined as: repairing or keeping in repair; the act of making amends or giving satisfaction for wrong(s). There's not a single person in the U.S. who claims African as a prefix that deserves monetary reparations from America. I contend that everything these persons deserve they have in equal portion and more compared to others, beginning with the ability to murder their children, which I argue is...

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), a member of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, said Monday that House Republicans might have to “use the power of the purse” to compel the FBI to cooperate with their investigations. “The Congress is this country’s checkbook and we can start cutting funds to the FBI,” Burchett told Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business’ “Mornings With Maria.” The FBI has refused to release a document that allegedly describes “very serious and detailed allegations” involving Joe Biden. On May 3, Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a Congressional subpoena demanding that the FBI produce an unclassified...

In a damning 300-plus page report released Monday afternoon, Special Counsel John Durham said that the FBI had no verified intelligence or evidence to justify the Trump-Russia investigation into President Donald Trump’s campaign in the summer of 2016. The Bureau’s Crossfire Hurricane probe was ostensibly opened to determine whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the presidential election. Former Attorney General William Barr appointed Durham to “investigate the investigators” in May 2019 when it became clear that the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe was a political “witch hunt” meant to hobble Trump’s campaign and then his presidency. According to Durham’s...

We’ve been keeping an eye on the Associated Press recently, as the press agency seems to have a crush on transgender state legislator Zooey Zephyr, writing headlines about how she’s been misgendered and silenced. She’s a hero. We hadn’t seen the Associated Press’ tweet about the release of the Durham Report, but thanks to James Woods it slipped into our timeline. The AP’s take? The report fell short of Donald Trump’s prediction it would uncover the “crime of the century.” Not, it only proved what we all already knew; that the Russian collusion hoax was just that, and that everyone...

Tunisian President Kais Saied has claimed that last week’s attack near a synagogue in Djerba, in which two Jews and three police officers were killed, was not antisemitic, JPost reports. Saeid made the comments on Saturday, according to the report. According to the Tunisian newspaper La Presse, Saied spoke during his visit to the Ariana district near the capital. A video of the visit and the president's statements was published by Saied's office as well.
