California just did what Slow Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuckles Schumer are threatening to do. Biden and Schumer still refuse to negotiate (allegedly) sending the US Federal government careening towards a staggering debt default. The source of both California and US Federal government fiscal problems? Out of control government spending, aka, government gone wild! Now we have the State of California defaulting on $18.6 BILLION in debt. This is Governor Gavin Newsom (Nancy Pelosi’s nephew) bragging point to be President? Horrible fiscal management and a default? In any case, California borrowed approximately $20 billion from the federal government...

A 20-year veteran prosecutor has quit the Cook County state’s attorney’s office and will move his family out of Illinois. Assistant State’s Attorney Jason Poje blasted Chicago’s leadership and cited rising crime and the politicians who do nothing to stop it as a reason for leaving the state. In a statement announcing his departure, Poje said he can’t raise his son in the state and is moving his “entire family” out of Illinois. Poje sent a blistering goodbye email to 85 colleagues that said: “After 20 years, I always kind of figured an email like this would start with ‘It...

Footage showing crates of Bud Light getting blown up with an artillery gun has been posted on social media and received more than 350,000 views. The clip was from a video shared online by self-described "gun lover" Stefan Gol and shows cases of Bud Light being destroyed by military weapons to the sound of Ted Nugent's 'Come And Take It.' Bud Light was targeted by a conservative boycott after working with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney and sending over a personalized can to celebrate her "day 365 of womanhood." A 37-second segment from Gol's video was posted on Twitter by Ron...

The chief executive of Anheuser-Busch InBev has blamed misinformation on social media for stoking a conservative consumer boycott of Bud Light after the best-selling US beer was promoted by a transgender influencer. Bud Light has become the target of a fierce backlash since Dylan Mulvaney posted a video last month on Instagram, where she has 1.8mn followers, featuring a custom-made beer can provided by the brewery that was emblazoned with an image of her face. The rightwing boycott has led sales volumes of the beer to drop by a quarter, while two Bud Light executives have taken leaves of absence.

A new Republican majority on the state Supreme Court is making its preferences known. I’m not certain North Carolina has become the most anti-democratic state in the union. But over the past dozen years, we’ve surely joined the hunt. Our General Assembly has enacted, according to reviewing judges, among the largest, most pervasive racial gerrymanders ever presented to a federal court. Lawmakers used “surgical precision” to deny Black Tar Heels the right to vote. They created the most bald-faced and unrepentant political gerrymanders seen in modern America. They’ve effectively overturned municipal elections when they didn’t like the outcome. And they...

The twelve apostles included "Simon, who is called Peter" (Matt. 10:2). Your present experiences contribute to your future leadership ability. Stan Carder is a dear brother in Christ and one of the pastors on our church staff. Before coming to Grace Church he pastored a church in Montana. While there, he was riding one night in a truck that was involved in a very serious accident. Stan suffered a broken neck and other major injuries. As a result he underwent months of arduous and painful therapy. That was one of the most difficult periods in Stan's life, yet God used...

At peak woke, our reign of terror is beginning to lose momentum because its continuation would destroy all the work of 247 years of American progress and sacrifice. The decade-long French Revolution that broke out in 1789 soon devolved into far more than removing the monarchy, as it became antithetical to the earlier American precedent. American notions of liberty and freedom were seen as far too narrow, given the state, if only all-powerful and all-wise, could mandate “equality” and force “fraternity” among its subjects. Each cycle of French revolutionary fervor soon became more radicalized and cannibalistic—until it reached its logical...

Our intelligence this morning puts beyond doubt the fact that Gen. HOOKER'S army has again retired to the north side of the Rappahannock. From various sources we collect the following facts in regard to the movement. There was no fighting on Tuesday of any consequence, and the rumors to that effect were founded on a misapprehension. The sharpshooters were quite active, and the artillery opened occasionally, but results were unimportant. The enemy had evidently massed his army on our right. About 5 o'clock in the morning it commenced raining. The water fell in torrents over an hour, deluging the roads,...

It feels like there have been staggering science stories emerging every other day recently... First, there was the discovery of a terrifying black hole pointing right at us, then there was a huge hole found in the sun and a missing continent found after going missing for 375 years. Now, people are only just realising that there’s a massive ocean hidden under the Earth’s crust. It turns out there’s a huge supply of water 400 miles underground stored in rock known as 'ringwoodite'. ... Scientists previously discovered that water is stored inside mantle rock in a sponge-like state, which isn’t...

“Either Comer is totally delusional or the Biden family, including Joe, is going down". As a friend put it after watching House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer’s 14-minute interview with Maria Bartiromo Sunday, “Either Comer is totally delusional or the Biden family, including Joe, is going down.” Comer has scheduled a press conference for Wednesday that he says will lay out an array of evidence. That is the deadline for the FBI to produce a document that Comer says exists which shows policy actions taken in exchange for money: bribery, which is specifically mentioned in the Constitution as a reason...

For years, North Dakota stood out as one of a couple of states which had Constitutional Carry but did not grant the right to carry without a permit to people who were not residents of the state. Wyoming restricted permitless carry to residents but reformed its law in 2021. In the 2023 legislative session, the North Dakota legislature passed two bills restoring and protecting the right to keep and bear arms. Both bills were signed by Governor Doug Burgum (R) of North Dakota in mid-April. One of those bills, HB 1339 extended the Constitutional (permitless) Carry provisions to people who...

GOP rockstar Kari Lake has just scored a big win after the Arizona Supreme Court ordered a hearing on her allegations of signature verification violations in Maricopa County. The Court ordered court proceedings to take place “forthwith” regarding Lake’s 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election challenge. While granting one sanction, the Supreme Court denied attorneys’ fees requested by the defendants. Republican Lake fell about 17,000 votes short in the 2022 election against then-Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, a Democrat. Lake is suing now-Governor Hobbs in addition to current Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and Maricopa County election officials. She is requesting that...

TALLAHASSEE — As he opened the 2023 legislative session nearly two months ago, Gov. Ron DeSantis targeted migrants entering the country illegally. “We must further strengthen our laws against illegal immigration by enhancing employment verification, increasing penalties for human smuggling and further disincentivizing illegal migration to the state of Florida,” DeSantis said March 7 during his State of the State address. On Tuesday, with just days left in the session, Republican lawmakers carried out DeSantis’ wishes. The House gave final approval to a controversial bill (SB 1718) that includes stepping up requirements on businesses to check the immigration status of...

Tara Reade, who has accused President Biden of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s, tweeted a cryptic message about death before she potentially testifies to Congress following an invitation from Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz. "I want to make something clear. If something happens to me, all roads lead to Joe Biden," Reade wrote Sunday afternoon. "Joe Biden and DNC political machine threats, bullying and intimidation over the last three years will not work." "I am not suicidal," she added. The message includes a promise to testify before Congress, to address "what happened and what" she knows. Reade...
