[Catholic Caucus] Cardinal Roche and the Trad View of the New MassAbove: the Catholic Church known as Die Wotrubakirche in Vienna. Photo by Stefano Perego.Cardinals Arthur Roche and Raniero Cantalamessa indirectly acknowledged (perhaps unintentionally) what critics of Paul VI’s Novus Ordo Missae have said for over fifty years: The new rite corresponds to a new theology that “represents, both as a whole and in its details, a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as it was formulated in Session XXII of the Council of Trent.”[1]On March 19, 2023, when British compatriots on BBC radio questioned the restrictions...

Social media bosses who fail to censor “harmful” content on their sites should be jailed, plans announced by a UK minister have stipulated. Technology and Science Secretary Michelle Donelan has announced plans to see social media executives thrown in jail should they fail to censor so-called “harmful” content on their websites. The jail threat is to be part of the UK’s Online Safety Bill, a widespread censorship plan that some tech giants claim will also effectively ban end-to-end encryption for private internet users.

"Our employees are being held up for their wallets and their phones at gunpoint," Rabine Group founder Gary Rabine told "America Reports" on Wednesday. "It's just not worth it anymore, the danger. You know, we are very safety-oriented company, and we can't put up with it any longer." Rabine, who has built business in the Chicago area for over 40 years, says his customers and employees do not want to live in the Windy City...

Jeffrie Eugene Long Jr., member of the Maryland House of Delegates (D-Calvert and Prince George's counties) paid an uninvited visit to a constituent's home. He let himself in via an unlocked door and brought along a metal pipe to use during his conversation with the home owner. His message was a succinct "keep my name off your mouth or I'm going to put you six feet under." After a tense pause, Long left the home and drove away in his Mercedes-Benz. The home owners called the police to complain about Long's bizarre behavior and expressed their fear that he meant...

Wednesday, during FNC’s “Hannity,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, commented on recent revelations about President Joe Biden and his family’s business dealings. According to the Kentucky Republican, the walls were “closing in on the Biden family.” “My last question is part of a long question is do you believe the president of the United States is compromised by these countries that we know hate our guts?” host Sean Hannity said. “I’ll answer the second question — I don’t see how Joe Biden could not be compromised,” Comer replied. I mean this — these family members...

I feel like I am in the movie “Silent Hill” under Biden and Janet Yellen. But call it “Silent Economy.” The conference board’s US Leasding Index model shrunk by -12.% in March, marking the 12th consecutive month of decline. The townspeople from Silent Hill are running the Federal government under Obama/Biden.

President Trump issued a solemn warning this week when it came to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s potential presidential ambitions, noting that a 2024 presidential campaign from the popular conservative leader would “hurt and somewhat divide the Republican Party.”Trump explained in a new video, “Ron DeSantis is a young man who is not doing well against me in the polls, to put it mildly. I believe that if he decides to run for president, which will only hurt and somewhat divide the Republican Party – which we don’t need – he will lose the cherished and massive MAGA vote, and never...

Is the Chinese Communist Party already sending an invasion force across the wide-open southern U.S. border? I reported for PJ Media in February on the big spike in Chinese illegal migrants entering the U.S. thanks to the Biden administration’s disastrous open border policies. I said that almost certainly there were plants from the mass murdering Chinese Communist Party (CCP) among the migrants and that it was the start of what could be a military invasion. Unfortunately, that seems to have been an even more accurate analysis than I realized at the time. Fox News reported on April 19 on the...

IMHO deep respect for motherhood (and fatherhood) is at the very heart of what makes Catholicism special. Leonardo's Uffizi image of The Virgin Mary is wonderful, beautiful innocence. Female beauty is an irreplaceable element of the overall power of motherhood in the human realm. Mother Mary Angelica Of The Annunciation rose from poverty to build a massive television empire to protect and extend the reach of her faith. She maintained long standing Western values which the modern world destroys. For instance : “The woman is a gentle, loving bond who encourages, consoles, builds, reconciles, and makes all things new and...

Elon Musk's SpaceX's Starship exploded into a ball of fire on 4/20 during its second failed orbital launch in a week. The world's largest and most powerful rocket – which was unmanned - lifted off in South Texas and successfully cleared the launchpad, its first milestone. But the craft was sent into a tailspin when the booster - called Super Heavy - failed to separate from the rocket in mid-air. The mission ended at around four minutes when the failure sent both stages crashing toward Earth, imploding mid-descent over the Gulf of Mexico. Despite the failed launch, the team at...
