Mourning the loss of a beloved pet can be similar to grieving a family member, given that many pet owners consider their pets as members of the family. Some pet owners, after losing a pet, feel deeply lonely, which is the case for a woman who's heartbroken after her beloved dog sadly passed away after a long illness. After her dog Guada's sudden death, Florencia Abraham was left with a broken heart that only time could heal. That is until a surprise guest paid her a magical visit.

In Allen’s own words starting in the summer of 1976:In the summer of 1976, I was working alone on the grizzly bear research and was on a trip in the Scapegoat Wilderness south of the Benchmark Road end on USFS land. I was riding my saddle horse and leading two pack horses with my equipment and camping supplies. I rode into a small grassy opening suitable for horse feed north of Half Moon Peak at about dusk. I unloaded the two pack horses and turned them loose to graze with hobbles and was starting to unsaddle my riding horse. A...

On March 27, a “trans man” shot and killed six people in a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee. “He” took the lives of three children and three adults, mostly females. This was obviously a targeted assault. The slaughter stopped when policemen shot and killed the perpetrator. The media did not much decry the actions of the deranged mass murderer, preferring to cast her/him as a victim of Christian intolerance. Some Christians don’t believe in self-mutilation, you see. Some have the audacity to believe in the existence of only two—count them—two sexes. Moreover, the perp’s parents apparently were not in favor...

Today, most climate science is done with satellites, sensors and complicated computer models. But it all started with two glass tubes. "A woman, about 170 years ago, used a very simple experimental setup – two glass tubes, two thermometers, an air pump – and was able to demonstrate that if you add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, you warm it up. It's basic physics," says Annarita Mariotti, a climate scientist and program director of Modeling, Analysis, Predictions, and Projections at the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. Eunice Foote, the woman behind that glass tube experiment, has largely been left out...

Strike back hard and soon. For several years now, people on the political right have been warning those on the left not to keep poking the bear or they would find out the hard way what happens. Well, so far all that has happened is that, after repeated poking, the bear has learned how to put on a pink tutu and ride a unicycle. Democrats have weighed and measured the Republicans and found them wanting. They now know it is a hollow party of frightened men and women who invoke “principles” to cover for their cowardice and inaction and know...

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Religion Forum Threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) decried the indictment against former President Donald Trump on Thursday by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, calling it a “shocking and dangerous day for the rule of law.” “This is a shocking and dangerous day for the Rule of Law in America. This is one of the most irresponsible decisions in American history by any prosecutor,” Graham said in a statement. “It is irresponsible because the case was looked at by two previous prosecutors and they passed. It has not aged like fine wine,” he added. “The chief witness for prosecution is a convicted felon, Michael...

The New-Brunswick, which left New-Orleans on Sunday, 22d, arrived yesterday morning, and the McClellan, which left on the same day, arrived last evening, bringing details of Admiral FARRAGUT'S gallant attack upon the rebel batteries at Port Hudson, on Saturday, March 14, the army, under Gen. BANKS, proceeding by land. Just before dark, on Saturday, 14th, the Hartford, (flagship,) with Admiral FARRAGUT on board, advanced to the attack, accompanied by the Albatross gunboat; the Richmond and Genesee followed; next the Monogahela and Kineo, and finally, the Mississippi. The Essex and Sachem, remained behind, with six mortarvessels. In this order they attempted...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMark 14 Jesus Anointed at Bethany14 Now the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread were only two days away, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were scheming to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him. 2 “But not during the festival,” they said, “or the people may riot.”3 While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.4 Some...

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has shocked many Americans by becoming a politicized law enforcement arm of the Democrat party. As the target of one of the FBI and Department of Justice political attacks -- solely because I had been talking to Ukrainian whistleblowers about Biden family corruption in that country -- I want to discuss the problem. It starts with the most political Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray. How exactly did Wray become Director? The saga of who headed the most prestigious and respected (previous to Wray) law enforcement agency under Donald Trump includes political naiveite as well...

The more someone is with Jesus, the more that person becomes like Christ in purity, holiness and love. In turn, his pure walk produces in him a great boldness for God. Scripture says, “The wicked flee when no man pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1 NKJV). The word for bold in this verse means “secure, confident.” That’s just the kind of boldness the synagogue rulers saw in Peter and John as they ministered in Acts 4. In the previous chapter, Peter and John prayed for a crippled beggar, and he was instantly healed. The healing...

"Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen" (Matt. 6:13). The Disciples’ Prayer is a pattern to follow for life. The implications of the Disciples' Prayer are profound and far-reaching. An unknown author put it this way: I cannot say "our" if I live only for myself in a spiritual, watertight compartment. I cannot say "Father" if I do not endeavor each day to act like His child. I cannot say "who art in heaven" if I am laying up no treasure there. I cannot say "hallowed be Thy name" if I am not striving for...

While a number of Donald Trump’s Capitol Hill allies have been quick to defend the former president and criticize the indictment, one moderate Republican told CNN he trusted the legal system. “I believe in the rule of law," said Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska. "I think we have checks and balances and I trust the system.” Bacon said it was important to let the process play out. “We have a judge. We have jurors. There is appeals. So I think in the end, justice will be done. If he’s guilty it will show up. But if not, I think that...

In one of the more shocking hypocrisies of this year so far, Charles III, King of England – considered to be a strong supporter of organic farming and environmental causes – has given his Royal Assent to a biotechnology ‘innovation’ which will provide an open book for UK firms to alter the genome of animals and plants, so as to create novel engineered species and biotech ‘foods’.

America, your 45th President needs you to stand up for what is right. During the golden era of The Greatest Generation, a work of art called The Philadelphia Story was created. When Katharine Hepburn said, "I was guilty straight off until I was proven innocent." Cary Grant commented, "Downright unAmerican if you ask me." In the modern world of suffocating political correctness, far too many men are now "guilty straight off" In 2018 President Trump described this modern phenomenon by saying, " My whole life I have heard you are innocent until proven guilty. But now you are guilty until.proven...

The iron fist of a coordinated program of control has been revealed and the fingers of this fist have imprinted themselves on every aspect of our lives. The economic impact has been enormous, resulting in an impoverishment of underlings while overlords have been majestically enriched. The ‘normality’ that, after three years, seems now to be reestablishing itself, is tenuous, for we have all seen how swiftly and fiercely the fist may come down, perhaps at the drop of another bat and the emergence of yet another infectious threat. Or perhaps the ever-looming dangers of climate change, another biopsychosocial operation, may...
