Fani Willis, who is trying to make PERFECT phone calls into a plot to destroy America, but reigns over the most violent Crime Scene in America, and does nothing about it!” Trump wrote in a post on his social media site. South Carolina lawmakers began efforts Thursday to fire Comptroller General Richard Eckstrom after a $3.5 billion accounting blunder. The move comes one day after Eckstrom was strongly advised to quit or be fired. The 74-year-old seasoned public accountant told senators in March he unintentionally exaggerated the state's cash position by $3.5 billion by overstating the amount sent to colleges and universities for approximately a decade, according to The Associated Press. Eckstrom has been in his position for 20 years and spent four years during the 90s as the state treasurer. Though the error was not in actual cash, it affects...

ROME — The United States Catholic Bishops have issued guidelines banning surgical and chemical intervention aimed at exchanging “the sex characteristics of a patient’s body for those of the opposite sex.” In a March 20 “Doctrinal Note,” the bishops rule out certain forms of medical interventions in Catholic healthcare institutions such as puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgery, insisting that the do not promote the authentic good of the human person but are, in fact, injurious. “Catholic health care services must not perform interventions, whether surgical or chemical, that aim to transform the sexual characteristics of a human body into...

The Lockdown Files have dished up a curious exchange among Britain’s top policy advisers in early 2020. On 29 February, responding to a WhatsApp message from Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s chief adviser Dominic Cummings that Israeli scientists were just weeks away from developing a Covid vaccine and if this was credible, Chief Scientist Sir Patrick Vallance replied “Short answer is no.” Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty explained: “For a disease with a low (for the sake of argument 1%) mortality a vaccine has to be very safe so the safety studies can’t be shortcut. So important for the long run.”...

An effective defense begins in knowing your enemy and understanding, fully and finally, that he is your enemy. Having been a combatant in more family and political squabbles than I dare count, I am finally beginning to understand Patrick Henry’s powerful lament about the trickery of “hope.” Make no mistake: I believe Christian “hope” is a good thing—because the hope there is based on solid ground. But false “hope” is a bit like a temptress, a sexy lie—the buxom girl at the bar who is rebounding from her seventh husband, inviting you to a temporary solace that will be more...

TAMPA, Fla. (WFTS) — It's what keeps Florida going; tourism. Visit Florida said 137.6 million people visited here in 2022, the most ever. In 2021, tourism brought $101.9 billion dollars into the state's economy. "Florida is a nice place to be. You got your beaches, you got your tourists, you see people all over the world," said Gregory Franklin as he strolled the Tampa Riverwalk. But the Florida State Chapter of the NAACP has its sights set on hitting the state where it hurts most. "We are letting our voices be heard, and we are just letting people know that...

During Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF’s) regulatory gun control push Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) claimed the ATF has been keeping us safe since 1886. Jackson said she was “incredulous” that a hearing highlighting the ATF’s regulatory gun control push was being held. She then claimed there have been “over a 100 mass shootings” already in 2023, but did not provide any substantiation of the claim. She also claimed there is “a constant range of gunfire across America,” including “on Sunday, when many people in America are seeking the solace...

As I learned through my painful experience, ‘gender affirming treatment’ is medical fraud and malpractice. This April marks 40 years since my therapist told me a “sex change” was the only answer to my persistent mental difficulties. Unfortunately, I followed his advice, obtained cross-sex hormones, and underwent surgery. As I learned through my painful experience, “gender-affirming treatment” (GAT), also known as “gender-affirming care,” is medical fraud and malpractice.A person’s sex cannot be changed. I know. I lived and identified as a woman for eight years. Hormones and surgery didn’t change my sex. I was a man before surgery, and I remained...

Conservatives should direct their energy toward state legislatures to stymie Biden’s radical agenda. It’s no secret the vast majority of Republicans want to vote President Joe Biden out of office in the 2024 election. And who could blame them? With skyrocketing inflation, banks collapsing, a wide-open southern border, politically weaponized federal law enforcement agencies, ideological grooming of children, unchecked Chinese surveillance, federal interference in U.S. elections, and more, it’s completely understandable for millions of Americans to be on the lookout for potential candidates who could get the country on the right track. While important, the 2024 GOP presidential primary — which...

This week, President Biden and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) sparred over the issue of transgender surgery for children. Claiming the moral high ground, the President asserted that "it is sinful to deny a child the right to switch genders. Parents who object are child-abusers. It is the government's moral obligation to step in and protect these children by providing public funding for the drugs and surgery needed to liberate these children from the horrors of being trapped in the wrong type of body." DeSantis countered by asserting that "it is not 'sinful' to prohibit the mutilation of minors. It is...

If you are a consumer today, inflation is only one of the problems harming you. As prices go up, quality continues to go down. What most stores have to offer you might crassly be called “cheap crap.” In fact, economic writer Charles Hugh Smith has repeatedly warned that the “crapification” of the U.S. economy is the natural result of a “neoliberal-hyper-financialization-hyper-globalization model,” in which quasi-monopolist manufacturers mass-produce goods with the cheapest possible components, while customers with scant other buying options are forced to accept that few purchases will last.
