Below is my column in the New York Post on the suggested censorship of bank critics by Sen. Mark Kelly (D., Ariz.). It was only the latest example of how censorship has become a reflexive response of many Democrats to opposing views. It is now increasingly common for certain views to be declared as simply too dangerous to be tolerated or allowed on social media, including (it seems) questioning the solvency of banks. Here is the column: Concerned about your money after recent bank failures? You might want to keep those thoughts to yourself. While some rushed to get their...

HOW THE DRUGS WORK Mifepristone is taken first, swallowed by mouth. The drug dilates the cervix and blocks the effects of the hormone progesterone, which is needed to sustain a pregnancy. Misoprostol, a drug also used to treat stomach ulcers, is taken 24 to 48 hours later. The pill is designed to dissolve when placed between the gums and teeth or in the vagina. It causes the uterus to cramp and contract, causing bleeding and expelling pregnancy tissue. While the two-drug combination is slightly more effective, misoprostol is sometimes used alone for abortions. That practice is more common in countries...

DES MOINES, IA — A local couple has discovered the perfect deterrent to help them handle rowdy children. The exasperated mother and father warned their overly rambunctious kids that if they didn't start behaving, they would take them to Applebee's for dinner. "Worked like a charm! They quieted down right away!" said relieved dad, Michael Tucci. "They have been acting up all day long, whining, bickering, misbehaving…but we fixed that real quick with a simple threat of taking them to a God-forsaken hellscape of greasy, tasteless food guaranteed to cause indigestion." President Biden's gun control advocacy led him to a "virtual gun-free zone" still wracked with violent crime, where he announced his latest executive order, Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., said Tuesday. Biden traveled to Monterey Park, Calif., to stump for the directive, which — in his words — will take "every lawful action possible to move us as close as we can to universal background checks without new legislation." Massie said Biden chose the Golden State to announce such an order because it is where gun control laws have long failed. "[California has] got a higher-than-average mass public shooting per capita...
