Last Friday, Roku announced that it has $487 million in cash at the failed Silicon Valley Bank. That came as the federal government seized the Silicon Valley Bank earlier on Friday. Now the U.S. Treasury will back all deposits in the Silicon Valley Bank, meaning Roku will soon get access to its money. Stock futures jumped Sunday evening after regulators announced a plan to backstop all the depositors in failed Silicon Valley Bank and make additional funding available for other banks. S&P 500 futures gained 1.1% and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 1.2%. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average were up by 265 points. A 34-year-old Chino Hills man was arrested Sunday after stealing a backpack that contained GPS enabled headphones that led deputies to his location, authorities announced. Deputies with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department responded to the 5400 block of Wild Sage Place at around 8:40 a.m. on reports of a vehicle burglary.
