"Bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Col. 1:10). Your fruitfulness is directly related to your knowledge of divine truth. Every farmer who enjoys a plentiful harvest does so only after diligent effort on his part. He must cultivate the soil, plant the seed, then nurture it to maturity. Each step is thoughtful, disciplined, and orderly. Similarly, bearing spiritual fruit is not an unthinking or haphazard process. It requires us to be diligent in pursuing the knowledge of God's will, which is revealed in His Word. That is Paul's prayer in Colossians 1:9, which...

The first 2,000 inmates of a new prison built in El Salvador to accommodate more than 40,000 suspected gangsters targeted in President Nayib Bukele's "war" on crime, have arrived at the facility. Bukele tweeted on Friday that "at dawn, in a single operation, we transferred the first 2,000 members to the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT)" — which he claims is the largest mega-prison in the Americas. Bukele added: "This will be their new house, where they will live for decades, all mixed, unable to do any further harm to the population." The president posted a video showing...

State legislators in the Flathead Valley are — like the former governor himself — unsurprised by the Montana Republican Party’s public break up with Marc Racicot. The two-term Republican governor, who served from 1993 to 2001, earned a formal rebuke from the state party organization’s executive committee on Feb. 15. The decision comes after Racicot endorsed a series of Democrats in recent state and national elections, party leadership said. “It was a difference between party platforms and principles and I decided I would choose principles,” Racicot said last week. The former governor said he was unfazed by a text from...

**SNIP** On “climate change” I have to ask how it is we’re supposed to take you seriously when nothing you’ve predicted has come to pass? We’re well past 30 years of 10-year predictions of coastal flooding, yet Florida still exists. In fact, all the 10-year predictions of doom and gloom haven’t happened. **SNIP** On the trans issue, how did all of you lose every bit of life experience and knowledge you’d accumulated over your lifetime inside of about 15 minutes? You don’t really believe the person next to you at a urinal is a woman simply because they peek-a-boo their...

As the U.S. commits to support Ukraine no matter how long it takes, some in government are asking: Did America learn its lessons from Afghanistan? Ukraine is not Afghanistan, but in terms of how the U.S. approaches aid and oversight of funds, "has that changed?" asked John Sopko, the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction (SIGAR) which tracked billions of dollars of wasted money over the decades-long effort to rebuild that nation. "We made some significant mistakes in dealing with Afghanistan," The question isn't whether money might be lost to fraud or incompetence in Ukraine but what the U.S. can...

A 17-year-old Michigan honor student was killed by two younger boys after leaving a birthday party and offering them a ride home out of the cold, authorities said. Jack Snyder had just left his girlfriend’s birthday party Feb. 17 in Battle Creek when he offered two kids, ages 14 and 13, a ride during below-zero temperatures, according to WZZM-13. He didn’t know the youths, who then allegedly tried to carjack Snyder — and then fatally shot him when he resisted, authorities said. The Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office charged Justice Chimner, 14, as an adult with felony murder, carjacking and two...

President Joe Biden's mental health is declining; that's no secret. However, it is alarming when he can't make it through an interview without stumbling over his words or being unable to recall whether he's already talked to someone. During an interview with ABC on the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, Biden said that he has "talked to everyone that there is to talk to" but can't remember who he has spoken to. Host David Muir asked Biden if he plans to travel to Ohio and has talked to the mayor. "I can't recall whether I've — I don't...

The mother of 15-year-old Jaheim McMillan, Black Lives Matter Grassroots and other activists are calling for a federal civil rights investigation into the Black teen’s shooting death by a Gulfport police officer. “I am so disappointed by the decision and had hope that Mississippi would do the right thing, but they do not have the courage,” Jaheim’s mother, Katrina Mateen, said in a statement released by Black Lives Matter Grassroots, a non-profit group made up of over a dozen BLM chapters. On Friday, the Mississippi and Gulfport branch of the NAACP joined the mother and activists demanding accountability from law...

This was political kabuki theater at its transparent worst. On his new Saturday Show on MSNBC, Jonathan Capehart invited on the liberal candidate Janet Protasiewicz. The clear intent was to signal to voters and donors how she would vote on key issues before the court, notably abortion. Capehart dutifully played his role in the farce by saying: "I know you'd never tell us how you'd rule on any particular case, but . . . "Of course, the "but" was what her appearance was all about. "I've been very, very careful to share with people what my values are. But my...

n our time Christian church throughout Western civilization, the former Christendom, and the former Protestant America, is withering away and breaking apart in raging apocalyptic winds of nihilism. Nihilism can be seen in the shrugging of shoulders and heard in expressions such as “who cares?’ “so what?” or “what’s that to me?”Nihilism is a condition of soul. It emerges from the labyrinth of disordered and evil passions in the fallen souls of mankind when there is no fear of God, thus, no transcendent Authority, Immutable Truth, Absolute moral Law, or meaning and purpose for human life since in the absence...

Nearly sixty-two years since the first of the Soviet Army’s T-62s entered service, the Russian Army has once again modified the now obsolete tank. The “T-62M Obr. 2022” as shown in this Ukraine Weapons Tracker (@UAWeapons) tweet appears equipped with a thermal sight only about half as old as the tank itself. Russia has deployed its aging T-62s to Ukraine since last spring, and in October announced a plan to "modernize" 800 of the type for service. The base T–62M dates to 1983, and NATO intelligence first observed the upgraded model during the Soviet Union's war in Afghanistan. It represented...
