If wormholes exist, they could magnify the light of distant objects by up to 100,000 times — and that could be the key to finding them, according to research published Jan. 19 in the journal Physical Review D.

Why not 200,000? Might mean more grant money.
Wormholes cannot occur naturally, because unlike black holes they require space-time geometries so specific that they would have to be constructed instead. They also require negative mass, which does not even exist as far as we know. We might as well be looking for giant space fairies.
Why do wormholes need to be found?
This is called 'Science'?
And if wishes were horses, they could play poker with sea anemones. This is more like fantasy.
Wormholes are science fiction… so far.
That is like saying, “If wormholes exist they might be full of peanut butter”.
Or.....you guys don’t know what the heck you are looking at so far away.
