One of the most insidious strategies ever devised to destroy the United States is coming to foul fruition. Remember that famous recurring line from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? Worse than the Pinkerton agents to Butch and Sundance, Cloward and Piven are to the stability and future of America. If the Cloward-Piven Strategy is new to you, Fred Elbel's "Cloward–Piven strategy - fundamentally transforming America" does an outstanding job breaking it down into bite-size pieces. Basically: [D]eveloped in 1966 by Americans Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven — both sociologists and political activists ... [t]he strategy focused on overloading...

Boston, Mass., Feb 17, 2023 / 15:15 pm The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) responded Thursday to a leaked document from the FBI that appears to reveal that the bureau’s Richmond division launched an investigation into “radical traditionalist” Catholics and their possible ties to “the far-right white nationalist movement.” “Let me first be clear: Anyone who espouses racism or promotes violence is rejecting Catholic teaching on the inherent dignity of each and every person,” Cardinal Timothy Dolan, chairman of the USCCB’s Committee for Religious Liberty, said in a Feb. 16 statement. “The USCCB roundly condemns such extremism and...

Gisele Barreto Fetterman revealed that she left her home with her children in the days after her husband checked into a Washington, D.C.-area hospital for clinical depression. “1 week ago today when the news dropped, the kids were off from school and media trucks circled our home. President Biden told reporters that he has no plans to visit East Palestine, Ohio, and pointed to a "whole video Zoom" that he conducted on the train derailment. Biden made the comments on Friday evening as he was leaving the White House to go to his Wilmington, Delaware residence. "Are you planning to travel to East Palestine, Ohio?" a reporter asked. "At this point, I'm not. I did a whole video, I mean, um, what the hell, on…" Biden said as he struggled to find his next words. "Zoom?" a reported interjected. "Zoom!" All I can think of every time...

At the national level, parties insist they won’t work or vote with the far-right AfD—but at the local level, it happens all the time.Ever since the populist far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party came onto the country’s political scene, there has been an explicit taboo among the other parties against collaborating with it. Leaders of the five main other parties in Germany’s Bundestag—the center-left Social Democratic Party, the conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU)/Christian Social Union bloc, the Greens, the pro-business Free Democratic Party, and the Left party—have vowed not to work with the AfD in any form, erecting what they...

The Democrats are in trouble if they run Joe Biden again in 2024. As I wrote the other day, he’s already put us in terrible trouble with his handling of things. He’s already deteriorated so much — and by the time he has to campaign in 2024, he’ll be in even worse shape. But unfortunately for the Democrats, their alternatives are not great. Among those alternatives is Biden’s “second” — Kamala Harris, known for her word salads and her cackles, but not much else. Indeed, it would be hard to point to one solid achievement that she’s had since she...

Oh boy, FOR ME there isn’t enough tinfoil folks. Then again, FOR US, we have previously been outlining the “watch Mexico in 2023” oil production and energy issue for several months now. Three oil refinery fires at three different facilities on the same day… isn’t good. Because it just seems to be too coincidental to be coincidental. MEXICO CITY, Feb 23 (Reuters) – Three fires broke out on Thursday at different facilities in Mexico and the United States operated by state-owned Mexican oil company Pemex, leaving five missing and eight others injured as of Thursday evening. In “The Wonderful Tar Baby Story,” Uncle Remus told about the one time Brer Fox outsmarted Brer Rabbit. Brer Fox mixes tar with turpentine to create a “Tar Baby” and sets his creation in the road. Brer Rabbit comes by and gets increasingly offended when the Tar Baby fails to acknowledge him. Brer Rabbit gets so incensed he decides to “bus’ you wide open,” only to get stuck, head, arms, legs, and all, in the tar. Oddly, Uncle Remus never tells us how (or whether) Brer Rabbit ended up as Brer Fox’s dinner. As EE News said recently, “Coal’s survival...

KYIV, Ukraine — They never wanted children. Yuliia Oleksienko says she and her husband Oleksandr made that decision long before Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. "We talked about it many times," says 31-year-old Oleksienko, "and we always saw ourselves as being child-free in our future." The war has only cemented that decision, with security, economics and political stability all playing a factor. "You should give birth when you can provide your child with everything they need," Oleksienko says. And she wonders, how can you do that right now in Ukraine? Important personal decisions like this across the country have contributed...

President Biden issued an order Friday directing federal agencies to check-in with residents of East Palestine, Ohio, after a train derailment earlier this month. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Environmental Protection Agency and Federal Emergency Management Agency will go door-to-door, visiting homes to see how families are doing and connect them any resources they may need. After hurricanes and other natural disasters, similar “walk teams” perform the same duties. Biden didn’t specifically say how many homes need to be visited, but he said he told employees to visit as many homes as possible by Monday.

National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby told reporters in a White House briefing on Friday that there is "no indication" that any of the billions of dollars in defense aid the U.S. has sent to Ukraine has been misplaced or stolen as GOP lawmakers push for an audit. On a call with reporters, Kirby said the White House takes accountability for the funds Congress has appropriated for Ukraine "seriously" and that the American people deserve to know their tax dollars are being spent wisely. "We have seen no indication to date that any of the resources or weapons...

During a portion of an interview aired on Friday’s edition of ABC’s “World News Tonight,” President Joe Biden said he’s “not sure how many are asking” how long we can continue to spend money on Ukraine at the current rate and we’re in a position where the cost of walking away from the conflict “could be considerably higher than the cost of helping Ukraine maintain its independence.” Host David Muir asked, “[H]ow does this war end and what does victory look like?” Biden responded, “Well, that depends on what the Ukrainians decide. But here’s what we have to do in...

CHICAGO - Bond was set at $150,000 Thursday for a Dolton woman accused of stealing over $1.5 million of food - primarily chicken wings - while working as a consultant for a school district in south suburban Cook County, according to court documents.(snip) Between July 2020 and February 2022, prosecutors said Liddell placed hundreds of unauthorized orders for food items, including 11,000 cases of chicken wings, through the school district's main supplier, Gordon Food Service. The orders were placed separately from the district's legitimate orders, prosecutors said. "The massive fraud began at the height of COVID during a time when...
