China’s exports to Southeast Asia jumped by 20% in 2022, despite a year-on-year decline in China’s total exports driven by a 19% drop in exports to the US and a 17% drop in exports to the European Union. Southeast Asia’s 700 million people stand at the cusp of an economic transformation comparable to the rise of the “Asian Tigers” – Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore – during the 1980s and 1990s. China’s leading position in digital as well as physical infrastructure has created a natural economic partnership with Southeast Asia, which represents a vast pool of young workers to replace...

Influence by the CCP and its functionaries must be pushed out of the darkness and into the light. Democrats and neocons proclaim that Russia represents the primary geopolitical threat to American interests. They are wrong. In fact, it is China that has demonstrated its blatant willingness to manipulate the American psyche through direct intervention of the American media. Much of China’s power is exerted in the shadows, through subversion and infiltration. Still, they are also mastering the art of lawfare and the use of frivolous legal threats to enact their agenda of silencing opponents and quashing harmful information. The Chinese...

In Ada, Oklahoma, at about 9 p.m. on December 31, 2022, a few hours before the new year, Jassmone Ashton was minding his own business outside the Sunset Market Valero gas/convenience establishment. Jassmone had filed a protective order against Denavarie Brooks in 2021. Jassmone is 35 years old. Denavarie Brooks was 37 years old. It is not clear what the issues between them were. According to police, who did a 10-day investigation and intensely examined surveillance video, Jassmone was pumping gas at the Valero store before the shooting. From the prosecutor, District Attorney Erik Johnson:“It’s obvious by watching the video...

There’s a new abortion service coming soon to New Mexico, but don’t expect to see Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham at the grand opening. The Satanic Temple is planning to open a telehealth clinic staffed by medical professionals, including former Planned Parenthood employees, offering prescriptions for abortion pills free of charge for those willing to perform the organization’s spoken-word “abortion ritual.” The specter of Satanists getting into the abortion business sounds like something ripped from the pages of the Babylon Bee, but Erin Helian, the Satanic Temple’s “religious reproductive rights director,” insists that the project isn’t satire.

Are the borders of country 5,000 miles away more sacrosanct and more worth taking existential risks than our own airspace and southern border? One of the strangest things about the American response to Ukraine has been the willingness of the Left and the establishment Right to discount completely that the war is heading toward a rendezvous with ever-deadlier weapons and staggering fatalities—even as we witness increasing nuclear threats from a weakened and adrift Vladimir Putin. They insist that Putin is merely saber-rattling. And he might be. Supposedly, in his diminished and discredited state, Putin would not dare to set off...

Me: In a hypothetical scenario in which everyone on the planet died tomorrow with the exception of all the climate scientists who continued to gain access current and historical temperature data, would they have any idea how the climate of the planet would continue to trend? If your answer is that they would be unable to do so, how can you be so certain that they can accurately predict future climate trends with 7.8 billion living people on the planet? OpenAI: Climate scientists use models to make predictions about future climate trends based on multiple factors, including historical temperature data,...

n a recent addition to the “Twitter Files,” Matt Taibbi revealed to the public how Twitter — the preferred social media platform of politicians, academics, and journalists — co-opted the algorithmic blacklist of a bipartisan neoliberal propaganda outfit known as Hamilton 68. Hamilton 68 was a digital dashboard that, as my colleague Emily Jashinsky recently discussed, was used to perpetuate and mainstream the myth of Russian interference in American politics through algorithmic censorship and suppression. But it wasn’t just egghead professors, left-wing activist journalists, and the tragically narcissistic (Adam Schiff) who perpetuated the thoroughly repudiated lie that Russia determined the...

A balloon US officials are calling a Chinese surveillance tool spent days flying over the continental United States before it was shot down by an F-22 fighter jet on Saturday. Pentagon leaders advised President Joe Biden against immediately shooting the flying orb out of the sky due to safety concerns for civilians as the high-altitude object was large enough to create a large debris field, a senior defense official who spoke on background told reporters Thursday. The dayslong spectacle saw many Republicans criticize the Biden administration for what they viewed as a slow response to the foreign object, while some...

"To all the saints in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 1:1). Every Christian is a saint. Many people think of saints as men and women who are especially holy or who have been canonized by an official church body. Usually only those who have been long dead and have extraordinary religious accomplishments to their credit qualify. God, however, has a different perspective on sainthood. Paul called the Corinthian believers saints (1 Cor. 1:2) then went on for many chapters correcting their sinful practices. He called the Roman, Ephesian, and Colossian believers saints but they weren't perfect either. What then qualifies someone as...

Gordon Chang makes some good points in this video. Among them are: The balloon was maneuverable (spent time of Malmstrom AFB's ICBMs and other key locations), Sends message that US isn't willing or able to control its airspace, Observes our military and civilian reactions including the performance characteristics of our aircraft around the balloon, Demonstrates China's arrogance, that they are getting on a war footing, that they believe they can do what they want over the US (and are intimating/humiliating Americans in case of war),Damages US prestige in the world (this is part of an ongoing campaign by China to...

In the classic work, “Earth’s Earliest Ages” English theologian G.H. Pember (1837-1910) examines the role of satanic forces in the first destruction of earth under God’s judgment and compares them to the explosion of open contact with evil spirits, ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic, Theosophy, Buddhism, reincarnation, karma, the Mystery religion of Babylon, astrology and mesmeric healings sweeping across Christendom. It was during the Renaissance that many influential Christians at the highest levels of Church and society had returned to the occult Wisdom Teachings that originated on the plains of Shinar then traveled to ancient Egypt with Hermes Trismegistus.

Most presidents of the United States, while in office, have kept pets including dogs. From John Adams's Juno, Mark, and Satan to Joe Biden's Commander, dogs have long kept US Presidents company. Out of the 46 presidents who lived in the White House since John Adams moved in in 1800, only three did not have any presidential pets while in office: James K. Polk, Andrew Johnson, and Donald Trump.

Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine late Sunday warned residents living within a mile of where a train derailed late last week to evacuate immediately over fears a rail car filled with chemicals could explode. The 150-car train derailed Friday in East Palestine, a town of some 4,700 people located near the Ohio-Pennsylvania border, and ignited on fire. Officials with the National Transportation Safety Board have said 20 of its cars contain "hazardous material," and that 10 of them had derailed. Of those 10, five contain highly flammable vinyl chloride, which the National Cancer Institute says is associated...

As I stay up working and watching the news reports from Turkey I am left with the conclusion that the war in Ukraine just ended--surrender or defeat--no longer our concern or focus. NATO ally Turkey clearly needs our and Europe's immediate help.

DNIPRO, Ukraine—Russia is regrouping its forces in eastern Ukraine and launching offensives along five lines of attack, Ukraine’s armed forces said on Saturday as officials in Kyiv and Western capitals continue to warn of a major Russian push to gain territory. The main focus of Russia’s offensive remains the besieged city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, which it is seeking to surround and capture. The Ukrainian military said it had repelled multiple attacks, inflicting significant losses for the Russians.

A majority of Democrats now think one term is plenty for President Joe Biden, despite his insistence that he plans to seek reelection in 2024. That’s according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research that shows just 37% of Democrats say they want him to seek a second term, down from 52% in the weeks before last year’s midterm elections. While Biden has trumpeted his legislative victories and ability to govern, the poll suggests relatively few U.S. adults give him high marks on either. Follow-up interviews with poll respondents suggest that many believe the...
