R Street Institute fellow Josh Withrow said on Breitbart News Saturday that, contrary to the bill’s portrayal from defenders, the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA) would only benefit media conglomerates instead of being a boon to local, independent news outlets. Withrow spoke to Breitbart News Saturday host Matthew Boyle as establishment media conglomerates and their allies in Congress have moved to pass the JCPA, which has been referred to as a media cartel bill by conservatives and other detractors. The JCPA would create an antitrust exemption for the news media and broadcast industries, allowing them to form a media...

A court case has developed in Missouri that raises the question of whether county officials are allowed to retaliate against the parents of a victim of abuse by one of its own employees. The situation is that a 15-year-old boy was sexually abused by a deputy in Scott County, Missouri. The parents threatened to sue the county because it allowed the deputy, who had been disciplined in previous employment situations, to have a job, and the authority of a deputy, in the county. According to a report from the Institute for Justice, which is working on the case on behalf...

MINNETONKA, MN — Local boy Linus Van Pelt has been permanently banned from the local community theater, after an episode in which he commandeered a play rehearsal and began reciting from the Bible. "It's a classic case that shows the dangers of Christian Nationalism," said FBI Agent Peter Corrum. "You let one little twerp with a blanket use public property to quote from the Bible, next thing you know, they'll be throwing Buddhists off the roof and birth control will be illegal. Tale as old as time." The incident happened during a rehearsal for a Christmas play, under the direction...

Tara Lee Rodas, is a volunteer assisting the US Department of Health and Human Services {HHS}with the processing of unaccompanied migrant children in California. This week she told Project Veritas founder, James O'Keefe that "tax dollars are paying to put children in the hands of criminals. The sponsors of these child migrants typically are not citizens. They're not permanent residents. They don't have a legal presence. Many of these people are human traffickers who coerce these minors into prostitution." Rodas asserted that her efforts to raise this issue through the proper channels failed to elicit any interest from HHS. She...

In the midst of a massive military recruiting crisis and Republicans taking the House, the misguided vaccine mandate may be on its way out. Final defense legislation set to be unveiled next week could undo the Pentagon’s policy of kicking out troops for not taking the Covid vaccine, the Democratic chair of the House Armed Services Committee said Saturday. Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) said a rollback of the policy is on the table for a compromise version of the National Defense Authorization Act, but hasn’t been decided yet. *** “I was a very strong supporter of the vaccine mandate when...

DOJ Meritless Garland filed hate crime charges against a Georgia dog owner today. The FBI recommended the charges based upon articles by the NY Times, CNN and MSNBC and a cursory investigation by Wray's best stemming from the report that the dog had killed 8 coyotes. Garland stated that even if the coyotes were all white Hispanics that the charges would still be pressed. In late breaking news, it was determined by Fox News that the 8 coyotes that were killed were not FBI CIs or smugglers but actual 4 legged canines attacking the farmers sheep. The dog actually killed...

The United States have a lot of railroads — big national lines and short regional lines, freight railways that share their track with commuter lines, lines designed with high clearance for container stacktrains. And while there are still a few tycoons in the world, the days of the railroads being the shining monuments to a single millionaire's fortune are long past; many of our railroads, like most big corporations nowadays, are publicly traded and are therefore owned and controlled by the nameless, faceless fund managers of Wall Street. To have all these railroads, you need a lot of employees. Here,...

The FBI worked with social media to kill the Hunter laptop story before the 2020 election. These goons running the FBI are not on the side of the people. Their job is to run cover for crooked politicians and put good people who shine the light on their crimes behind bars. The Gateway Pundit previously reported in May that the Missouri and Louisiana Attorneys General filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) against the Biden Administration, including Joe Biden himself, Anthony Fauci, the Department of Homeland Security and nearly a dozen federal agencies and Secretaries. The suit alleges a massive coordinated...

Bob Iger may be back at the helm of The Walt Disney Company, but if anyone thought his return would see the company shift away from divisive identity politics, they would be sadly mistaken. “The Board has concluded that as Disney embarks on an increasingly complex period of industry transformation, Bob Iger is uniquely situated to lead the Company through this pivotal period,” announced the Disney board’s current chairman, Susan Arnold, in a statement provided to the media on November 20th. “We thank Bob Chapek for his service to Disney over his long career, including navigating the company through the...

BY GABRIELLA KILLETT | STAFF WRITER DEC 3, 2022 - 3:28 PM The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office said deputies rebooked Antonio Tyson, 49, with attempted escape, after he damaged property at the jail in an effort to flee. Considering Tyson a flight risk, they then transferred him, without incident, to the state's maximum security prison at Angola. Tyson is accused of kidnapping and killing the Rev. Otis Young, 71, and Ruth Prats, 73, on Sunday night and setting fire to their bodies in downtown Covington. Another St. Tammany inmate, David Burns, 71, was booked with being a principal to...

What’s clear is that Kevin McCarthy’s math for becoming speaker is looking quite difficult. What’s less clear is who could fill the vacuum and take over if McCarthy (R-Calif.) can’t get the votes. Five House Republicans have come out firmly against the House minority leader — a number that could be enough to defeat his candidacy in the narrowly GOP-controlled House. But there’s been very little in the way of putting forward an alternative. Part of that could be they simply don’t know who it is, while part of it could be that they want to avoid drawing attention to...

Judicial Watch announced today that the United States Secret Service has repeatedly changed its position about whether it is in possession of records related to the investigation of Hunter Biden’s gun, reportedly disposed of in a dumpster in Delaware. The Secret Service now says it now located over 100 records, totaling over 400 pages and will complete its initial processing of the records by January 9, 2023. Judicial Watch is investigating whether and how the Secret Service intervened for Hunter Biden in an incident involving a gun allegedly owned by him. In September, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information...

NBC host Chuck Todd said Sunday on KNBC’s “Today in LA Weekend” that he believes America is seeing the “beginning of the end” of former President Donald Trump’s political career. Anchor Conan Nolan said, “Part of the narrative following the midterm elections that Republicans are finally getting that they can’t win with Donald Trump. They’re tired of losing. Mike Allen of Axios has a piece where he says that he quotes one Republican as saying that President Joe Biden has carefully and cautiously waged war in Ukraine with no American troops, and he has had just one of the best...

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began." Luke, Chapter 16 1 And he said also unto his disciples, There...

"If our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and its gets passed we will shoot up your Newman Center with our new AR-14 rifles. Students for Life president Kristan Hawkins posted a photo of the note to Twitter on Saturday, saying "Jane’s Revenge threatens to shoot pro-lifers." “‘To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven’” (Matthew 13:11). In the Lord’s Prayer (Matt. 6:10) we see two aspects of the kingdom of heaven. “On earth” refers to the present kingdom, mediated through God’s servants, and “in heaven” refers to God’s universal, direct reign. Through the centuries the present kingdom has attracted both true and false citizens. Only God can infallibly distinguish true citizens (the redeemed) from false ones. Jesus shows that many branches that seem to belong to the vine actually do not. The spurious ones will be pruned away and...

Where can you find Christians wholly devoted to the Lord who have easy, trouble-free lives? Show me a Spirit-led, God-filled follower of Christ, and I’ll show you one who is chased, chastened, often baffled, and well-acquainted with deep waters and fiery furnaces. Those who seek to avoid difficulties seldom get the revelation of God’s fullness. They attempt to use faith to exempt themselves from crisis, not realizing they are robbing themselves of the greatest opportunity to find out what they are made of. Then one day when trouble inevitably shows up, they cave in, having no proven source of inner...
