Oregon is typically known as a bastion of West Coast liberalism, where Democrats are easily elected and a Republican hasn’t served as governor since the early 1980s. But with an unusually competitive three-way contest for governor, the Democratic candidate’s success is hardly a guarantee this year. As mail-in ballots become available to voters next week, Oregon is becoming the unlikely site of one of the most competitive governor’s races in the country. The main reason for the race’s unpredictability is Betsy Johnson, a longtime former Democratic lawmaker with a fondness for salty language who is aiming to become the first...

Gabbard announced on Tuesday in a video shared to social media that she was no longer a Democrat, and said the party was being led by "an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness" who promote "anti-white racism." She went on to say that she was leaving the party to become an Independent in part because she believed Democrats were bringing the world "ever closer to nuclear war." -- Very interesting. Trump himself,...

Cartels mutilate, cut throats, torture, off fingersAttacks against priests in Mexico have risen to an unbearable level. Organized criminals have turned to hunting down and maiming parish clergy to rise up the ranks of drug cartels and shut out the pastoral work they do in their communities. At least 70 priests have been killed — officially recognized — in recent decades, which makes Mexico the most dangerous country in the world to be a priest. The Centro Católico Multimedial keeps track of murdered priests (diocesan and religious) from 1990 to this year. In addition to murders, desecrations of temples have...

It will begin with tanks and gunfire with chaos and troopers on the street. You will know when it comes, however it by no means does. As an alternative, the actually massive modifications to American life, the profound ones that have an effect on all of us without end, these modifications virtually at all times start quietly with mild pleas for tolerance. We might love to do issues a little bit otherwise, they inform you. We might...
