District Attorney George Gascon's recall is being undermined by Los Angeles County officials who are not following the law, giving the prosecutor the edge, a campaign to unseat him explosively claims. The Registrar-Recorder’s Office is using illegal standards to verify and count recall petition signatures, increasing the odds that the vote will be thrown out, the campaign claims. Volunteers delivered 717,000 signatures to the registrar, which is 150,000 more than required. A random sampling showed 22% were invalid, but the campaign doesn’t buy it.

The military exercises, China's largest-ever, had been expected to draw to a close on Sunday. "I'm not worried, but I'm concerned they're moving as much as they are. But I don't think they're...

The teachers’ union says the center aims to combat disinformation and dangerous rhetoric in local school districts. But Sen. Ed Durr, R-Gloucester, said it’s a bid to squash parents and community groups who challenge the indoctrination of children in schools. “This is outrageous that because parents want to voice their concerns and their opinions about their child’s education that they’re encouraging teachers and board members now to...

I have waited "patiently" to be able to get on Truth Social with my PC, but I have run into a problem. In trying to sign up, they require an email address with a return email from the one they send --- done, but then also a phone number where you return a code from their text. All stop. I don't have, and don't want, a smart phone. So, I can't receive or send text messages. So, I can't sign up for Truth Social as it is currently configured. I can not find a work-around anywhere. Some other places will...

(The Hill) – The phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” started off as a dig at President Biden that spread quickly online and became a political slogan adopted by the president’s critics on the right, including former President Trump. The phrase became popular among Trump’s base after a reporter interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown mistakenly interpreted the crowd’s background chanting of “f— Joe Biden” as “Let’s Go Brandon.” But recently, the use of the phrase has shown signs of shifting. The precursors to the “Dark Brandon” meme first started to make the rounds online shortly after Biden was elected, when a Chinese...

In recent months, I’ve dedicated many articles to exposing the intentional destruction of our food system. The decision of the Dutch government to impose nitrogen pollution restrictions on farmers is but one example of this. This “green” policy will cut livestock production in the country by 30% in the next year, put farmers out of business, and force them to sell their land. Since The Netherlands is the largest meat exporter in the European Union,1 it will also result in meat shortages around the world. According to Dutch Parliament member Thierry Baudet,2 this “green” policy is really a thinly veiled...

There are many things fishy about the search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Largo house on Monday. First, the former president had been cooperating since he left office with the National Archives and the Justice Department regarding documents taken there by Trump during his presidency. The Archives took 15 boxes of documents, mementos, and keepsakes from Trump’s house last January. A “person familiar” with the list of items removed from Mar-a-Largo says “items that were improperly taken to Mar-a-Lago include a cocktail napkin, a phone list, charts, slide decks, letters, memos, maps, talking points, a birthday dinner menu, schedules and more.” There...
