If you find yourself wondering what these CEOs have to do with this ongoing process, you’re not alone, but most of them agreed to show up. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The FBI is asking for the public’s help in searching for the suspect, or suspects, who threw an unignited Molotov cocktail into the Hope Clinic for Women, a ‘pro-life organization’, in Nashville nearly a month ago. The FBI released pictures of the believed suspect as they continue to take any leads. The grainy pictures show the suspect wearing a backpack. The car is also a key piece in the investigation. Business owners told News 2 it is concerning the person behind this still hasn’t been caught after the clinic was vandalized on June 30. Around 1:30...

A preproduction F-150 Lightning Pro SSV fitted out for police duty Back in 2016, Ford fitted out a special F-150 truck for serve-and-protect duty as a police service vehicle. Now the company has done something similar with the new all-electric version of the pickup, which has been dubbed the F-150 Lightning Pro SSV. Ford notes that it has supplied police departments with vehicles for more than 70 years, with its police vehicle lineup actually outselling those supplied by all of its combined competitors. The latest addition to its lineup, the 2023 F-150 Lightning Pro Special Service Vehicle (or SSV for...

Long-time abortion activist Renee Bracey Sherman recently testified before the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, speaking about abortion in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Though her argument was meant to be in favor of abortion, she only showed how much heartbreak abortion can bring to families, even decades later. Bracey Sherman is the founder and executive director of We Testify, an organization representing post-abortive women. Sherman herself had an abortion at the age of 19, which is one of the topics she discussed. “It was one of the best decisions of my life because...

On her Wednesdy MSNBC program, The 11th Hour host Stephanie Ruhle welcomed the Lincoln Project’s Stuart Stevens and left-wing Prof. Jason Johnson to discuss the state of the nation which included the former accusing the GOP of being a “white extremist party” and the latter accusing the Supreme Court of being “absolutely illegitimate.” Stevens went first as he was asked by Ruhle, “why do Republicans need to sell a whole lot of crazy? You've spent your career working with, trying to elect major Republicans right? Mitt Romney, George W. Bush. Does the Republican Party no longer have a platform that’s...

When it comes to sales of electric cars, Norway is in a league of its own. In September, battery-powered electric vehicles accounted for 77.5 percent of all new cars sold. That figure makes Norway a world leader by a long way—leapfrogging over the UK, where 15 percent of new car sales were electric as of October, and the US, where that number is just 2.6 percent. Norway’s electric dream has been credited to a series of tax breaks and other financial carrots that mean brands like Tesla can compete on price with combustion engines. But these incentives—and their success—have created...

Apparently Roe’s overturn has made transgender “men” feel “at risk.” Geez Louise! Grow a pair! Mikko Galpin contributed “his” two cents for USA Today insinuating that abortion access and “gender-affirming care” are at risk post Roe and that they are “vital” for survival. “I think what most people don’t understand is when supportive protections are in place that say that they are for pregnant women, obviously people like me are supposed to be included. Right? It’s for anyone who has a baby, even if you don’t happen to be a woman who’s doing so.” Galpin said in a video interview...

Woman A woman is any adult person who believes or states that they are female at any given time. There exists no physical way to describe any unique attributes to women’s bodies. Unless you are discussing abortion. Racism Racism is the foundational state of society, especially American and other Western societies. It was the primary and driving factor of the development of white society. Examples of racism can be overt, but also unintentional, such examples include, but are not limited to, cultural appropriation, failure to acknowledge one’s privilege, and the existence of pretty much any statue erected before 1970. Human...

A man accused of raping and impregnating a 10-year-old Ohio girl was ordered Thursday to be held without bond by a judge who cited the horrendous violence of the crime and the fact that he had been living in the same home as the girl and her mother. Fuentes, 27, is charged with two felony counts of rape of the child who traveled to Indiana for an abortion that became a flashpoint in the national debate over access to the procedure. He has pleaded not guilty. Franklin County Judge Julie Lynch ruled on Thursday that Fuentes will be held without...

Isimemen Etute, the former Virginia Tech linebacker recently acquitted of second-degree murder, will be playing football at Iowa Community college this fall. The fact that Etute is free at all, let alone playing football, is quite astonishing in today's political climate. The entire Etute case — from his defense to the media's coverage of it — doesn't pass the smell test. It stinks of left-wing double-standards and selective morality, and anyone interested in true justice should be concerned over the turn of events.

“Another of the disciples said to Him, ‘Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.’ But Jesus said to him, ‘Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead’” (Matthew 8:21–22). Like the scribe, this second man disappears from the record after approaching Jesus. Evidently the Lord’s discipleship demands were too strict and the appeal of discipleship vanished (cf. Matt. 19:16–22). Christ’s instruction to follow Him simply means, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me” (Matt. 16:24). The Lord Jesus always made it clear...

As Christians, we are quick to offer the grace of our Lord to the world, but we often parcel it out meagerly to ourselves. To me, this is the most difficult part of forgiveness. Consider King David, who committed adultery and then murdered the husband to cover up his offense. When his sin was exposed, David repented, and the Lord sent the prophet Nathan to tell him, “Your sin has been pardoned.” Even though David knew he was forgiven, he had lost his joy. He prayed, “Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones you have broken may rejoice....

Federal prosecutors want to keep key details about the planning and execution of the March 2021 raid at U.S. Private Vaults out of the public's sight.First, the FBI raided a private business to seize safe deposit boxes and assets belonging to hundreds of people who were not suspected of having committed any crimes. Now, prosecutors are trying to keep the public in the dark about why the brazen forfeiture effort was undertaken in the first place—and are offering little justification for why such secrecy is necessary.Four depositions that could be crucial to understanding the motivations and intentions behind the FBI's March...

Without officially declaring for a 2024 presidential campaign Friday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, former President Donald Trump laid out a platform of strong-on-crime policies to "liberate our communities from the scourge of crime," "protect the innocent," "deliver justice to the guilty," and "defend our police.""Law and order is at the very heart of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," Trump told the crowd at a midterm campaign event at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Without law and order, there is no justice, there is no safety, there is no prosperity, and there is no...

Sprite is retiring its green plastic bottles after more than 60 years. Coca-Cola said Wednesday it's changing the packaging from green to clear plastic beginning August 1 as part of broader efforts to become more environmentally responsible. Sprite's current plastic contains green polyethylene terephthalate (PET), an additive that can't be recycled into new bottles, a key initiative for the company as it looks to reduce plastic waste. "Taking colors out of bottles improves the quality of the recycled material," Julian Ochoa, CEO of R3CYCLE, a plastic group helping Coca-Cola improve its recycling, said in a statement. "When recycled, clear PET...

Gov. Tom Wolf is taking the Republican-controlled General Assembly to court over its approval of a proposed constitutional amendment that could lead to erosion of abortion rights in Pennsylvania. In the lawsuit filed on Thursday in the state’s Supreme Court, Wolf maintains that the state constitution explicitly recognizes a personal right to privacy including the right to terminate a pregnancy. He claims the proposed amendment violates that right. The abortion-related amendment was included as part of a package of unrelated proposed amendments identified as Senate Bill 106 that received its first airing in a late-night Senate committee meeting on July...
