Rep Thomas Massie draws a Ruger LCP handgun from his pocket during a rally in support of the Second Amendment on Jan. 31, 2020 in Frankfort, Kentucky.Republican Rep. Thomas Massie fired back at Democrat Rep. David Cicilline after he suggested during a congressional hearing that there wasn’t "a single incident" where someone with an assault weapon "was stopped by a person with a gun." "The fact that guns are used by good guys every single day to prevent and stop bad guys is an inconvenient truth for Rep Cicilline and other Democrats who want to trample on the Second Amendment,"...

I’m a proud American. I’ve always taken pride in the rich culture of our country. While I loved traveling to other places, I never wanted to move away from the freedom and openness of our constitutional republic. Here, I could start my own business and make it succeed. I could raise my family, rely on public education, and live in a safe place. My, how times have changed. My neighborhood is dangerous, our schools immerse our youth in radical dogma, and the government can shut everyone’s businesses down at will. Try finding something real to grab onto these days. Is...

Because we have the majority of like-minded voters, Congress is desperate to divide, distract, and dilute. All I heard from the Democrats' prime-time telecast of their J6 Soviet show trial was blah, blah, blah, Americans are racist, Trump's a terrorist, and Congress must tear up more of the Constitution to save "democracy." Lights, camera, distraction! The way-off-Broadway tragicomedy produced by State media at once radiated the cheap emotionalism of a soap opera while leaving the ludicrous impression that our exalted leaders are nothing but ventriloquist dummies seeking refuge from a bad vaudeville routine. It was difficult not to laugh at...

This is where independents' inclination to vote Democrat will collapse. Most of us already know how we are going to vote in November. "Use Your Head and Vote Red" is a good answer to the other side's "Vote Blue, No Matter Who." We know in advance how the elections are going to turn out in hardcore Republican and Democratic states and enclaves. We do not expect California or New York to elect Republicans, nor are Wyoming and Idaho likely to elect Democrats. All the other races will, however, be decided by the swing voters who hold the balance of power,...

While working Americans suffer the worst decline in real income since waning months of the Carter Administration, America’s political parties are in disarray with internal divisions almost as intense as the issues that have polarized “red state” and “blue state” America. Neither party has a proposal – credible or otherwise – on the political agenda to alleviate the inflation that is crushing family income. And neither has the prospect of gaining a governing mandate, as opposed to a temporary majority. It’s a national train wreck, and no one has a plan to stop it. Unless his legal problems interfere, Donald...

“‘But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you’” (Matthew 6:33). When Christians think like the world and crave things in the world, they will worry like the world, because a mind not focused on God is a mind that has cause to worry. The faithful, trusting, and reasonable Christian is “anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving [let his] requests be made known to God” (Phil. 4:6). The antidote to worry that results in contentment is to make God and His kingdom your priority. Jesus is...

A bipartisan group of senators announced a deal Sunday on framework legislation to address a recent surge in gun violence in the U.S. The proposed legislation includes funding for school safety resources, strengthened background checks for buyers under the age of 21, incentives for states to implement their own “red flag’ laws, penalties for straw purchases of firearms, and increased protections for domestic violence victims. The bipartisan group was made up of 20 senators, including 10 GOP lawmakers, many of which are strong supporters of gun rights and political allies of the powerful National Rifle Association. With support from those...

Lee University has drafted a “statement of beliefs” that prohibits students from identifying as a gender that does not conform to their biological sex, among other similar prohibitions, according to a leaked copy of the document obtained by WTVC, an ABC news affiliate. The “Statement of Beliefs Concerning Human Sexuality and Gender” includes an extensive list of policies meant to institutionalize a biological definition of sex at the private Christian university in Tennessee, pointing to the Bible as validation for the guidelines. A university media affairs representative told The College Fix in an email May 8 that “the statement in...

[…]Who’s deleting VAERS reports?Peters interviews Albert Benavides, a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expert, data analyst and auditor, who’s been analyzing VAERS data since the release of these novel shots. According to Benavides, at least 10,000 reports of death or serious injury following COVID “vaccination” have vanished since the rollout of the shots – and they were not duplicate reports, which is a common “explanation” for their removal.Benavides cites the case of a young child in Alaska who reportedly died after the jab. That death report is now gone, and there’s no other remaining report that matches it.VAERS I.D. 1815096 is...

Midway through the 2022 primary season, many Democratic lawmakers and party officials are venting their frustrations with President Joe Biden’s struggle to advance the bulk of his agenda, doubting his ability to rescue the party from a predicted midterm trouncing and increasingly viewing him as an anchor that should be cut loose in 2024. As the challenges facing the nation mount and fatigued base voters show low enthusiasm, Democrats in union meetings, the backrooms of Capitol Hill and party gatherings from coast to coast are quietly worrying about Biden’s leadership, his age and his capability to take the fight to...
