I’m a proud American. I’ve always taken pride in the rich culture of our country. While I loved traveling to other places, I never wanted to move away from the freedom and openness of our constitutional republic. Here, I could start my own business and make it succeed. I could raise my family, rely on public education, and live in a safe place. My, how times have changed. My neighborhood is dangerous, our schools immerse our youth in radical dogma, and the government can shut everyone’s businesses down at will.
Try finding something real to grab onto these days. Is it even possible? Most politicians lie every time they open their mouths, especially those on the left and the RINOs. You only need to look at the brazenly misleading editing of the January 6 television hit job from last week to find multiple examples. Being a politician in this country now is simply a fund-raising exercise and, with a few stellar exceptions, the “winners” are whoever the corrupt media anoints. To stay anointed, they must only toe the line.
We’re told that every one of Biden’s failures is “Putin’s fault” and, when that’s not gonna fly, Trump did something that caused the problem. Increasingly, people see through this but, even though we know it’s lies, those lies are effective. Over half the country doesn’t care or willfully ignores reality, and is content to smoke some weed, put on a rainbow mask, and stay effectively asleep.

I hate to tell you... but there is nowhere left to go. I used to dream about moving to Australia .. but then remember they took all their people guns away years ago. And just about every where else locked down during covid worse than us. The left has destroyed the entire world with its lunacy.
You couldn’t be more wrong. Secession is the answer. So you don’t run away; your state secedes and hopefully their will not need to be a fight but relish one if it come to that just the same.

Secession is not the answer for Americans. It allows the traitorous left to live and gain land that is not theirs.
I agree secession is the answer, but I am unsure how that makes me wrong that there is nowhere to run to in the world.
Honestly, things have gotten so bad, that I think many on the left would support secession just to get rid of us. Neither side wants to be with the other anymore.
I believe many do…. Hence the polls showing Democrats getting an ass whooping in November.
We sure are in a mess. And there is no way out except a change of Administration. America has literally stopped...no food, no gas, no fun....
On the whole, based upon my experiences, the American people don’t give a shit where this country is headed.
They watch the news on TV and believe every damn word they hear.
They want the free money and cheap stuff, and don’t care where it comes from.
It’s just about bread and circuses for too many.
Yes, but those on the right will never do anything about it. They’ll just blog and vote, neither being effective agents of change.
People on the right, therefore, will just angrily blog and do nothing substantial to reverse the trend.

In days past, our newspaper was delivered the next day by the mail carrier.

There are two categories of people who support the Left: The Evil, and the Stupid. There is quite a bit of overlap, the “stupidly evil” and the “evilly stupid”.
It's quickly becoming just that way in our retirement gathering.. Harsh words, bad feelings and a dwindling attendance I think is indicative of what's going on in our nation..
