It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on one of my favorite memes from days of old (that’s also still going strong): People of Walmart. Who are the people of Walmart? Funny you should ask. According to the founders, The People Of Walmart blog was created in 2009 after its creators took a trip to a South Carolina Walmart and noticed a woman who “looked like a stripper” in a T-shirt that read “go f*** yourself” while accompanied by a two-year-old. Since then they’ve been bringing us the best of the worst that Walmart has to offer. And It...

For nearly a year, inflation has been hammering Americans. Every month when the Consumer Price Index report gets released, rates have stayed high or gone higher.Hopes that elevated prices were beginning to settle were dashed Friday morning when the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released data showing that the CPI, its broad measure for prices of goods and services, reached 8.6% for the month of May.The number represents the highest level of inflation in the U.S. since 1981, and it has top economists starting to get worried—like, really worried.“The overall reality for the Fed is that inflation is not under...

In January-April 2022, Germany increased imports from Russia by 60% and transferred almost EUR 6 billion to Moscow, despite the Russian aggression against Ukraine. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andrii Melnyk announced this on his Twitter account on Friday, June 10. 'It's crazy. Despite the Russian aggressive war, in January-April 2022, Germany increased imports from Russia by 60% (!) And transferred almost EUR 6 billion to Moscow. Trade between Ukraine and Germany fell by 11%," Melnyk said. As proof, the Ambassador of Ukraine published an infographics of trade. Why redirect migrants to Delaware and Washington when you could send them back to Mexico? Gov. Ron DeSantis says Texas should stave off the path of immigrants entering the country illegally by turning them around and sending them back south of the border. “They let them come across and then you give them to the feds, and the feds just release them anyways,” DeSantis said. “What they need to do, Texas, is Texas should just send them back across the border.”

Although alarming, it should be noted that the drag queen in question went by the name “Nicole Jizzington.” If that was too hard to pronounce, the drag queen went by “Nicki Jizz” for short. And as can be seen in the video below, Nicki Jizz was more than thrilled to dance around the stage as masked children cheered him on. While the drag queen was more than thrilled to celebrate with the children, it seems that the man behind Nicki Jizz wasn’t completely comfortable with what he was doing. Not long after the video of him dancing went viral that...

A superior court in Anchorage, Alaska, heard oral arguments on Wednesday in the civil case of a state politician being sued by a constituent who was banned from the lawmaker's Facebook page. Bobbie McDow of Eagle River—a community in the municipality of Anchorage—filed the lawsuit against state Senator Lora Reinbold after the Republican legislator blocked McDow online for critical comments. McDow's suit argues that such a social media ban violates her constitutional rights. "Alaska State Senator Lora Reinbold is suppressing free speech," the suit filed by the plaintiff, who is represented by the Northern Justice Project, stated. The filing added...

Large defence companies are already seeing their share prices go up as investors anticipate the impact of the war on profits. Thales shares have risen by 35% since the invasion, while BAE Systems shares are up 32%. Lockheed Martin has seen an increase of 14% and AeroVironment 63%. "You might think you're handing over weapons to people you know and like, but then they get sold on to people you absolutely don't," she tells Sky News. Mr Wezeman says weapons supplied to Ukraine "may end up disappearing into the black market" - an increased risk given that the country "isn't...

Joe Biden has a decades-long habit of making overtly racist remarks, taking discriminatory positions and cavorting with known racists—things that would get anyone to his political right tossed out of polite society. But being on the left must make it okay. While lamenting the difficulty in convincing many Latinos and blacks to take the COVID vaccine, he committed a series of racially charged blunders that barely registered in the corporate media’s consciousness. Biden white-splained that Latinos in America resist vaccinations because “they’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported.” This statement makes the insane assumption that all Latinos present in...

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is calling for the Second Amendment to be repealed and sharing his theory for how to successfully remove "nearly every gun from civilian ownership." "We need to start a movement to repeal the Second Amendment and replace it with something that says it’s not about the right of somebody to own a gun, it’s the right of all of us to be protected from gun violence," Moore said Friday on his podcast. "We have a right to live," he said. "If you’re afraid of somebody breaking in, get a dog… you don't need a gun." Moore...

A Russian lawmaker called for Lithuania's independence to be repealed, submitting a draft bill claiming the Baltic republic illegally left the Soviet Union more than three decades ago. The proposed legislation was submitted to the Russian lower house, the Duma, on Wednesday by Yevgeny Fyodorov, a member of the ruling United Russia party. In March 1990, Lithuania became the first republic to announce it intended to restore its independence from the disintegrating USSR, under whose control it had been for five decades after the Soviet army occupied it in 1940.

I remember some years ago it came out that a social studies study on conservatives vs liberals came out looking bad for conservatives, and then a couple of years ago it was found they had reversed one of the numbers for conservatives which had made them look much worse than they were (and possibly they were actually better than liberals despite having been reported as worse, but I am not sure about that). Does anyone remember this well enough to give me a clue how to find out more about it? I haven't been able to configure a search that...

The Department of Homeland Security plans to transport asylum seekers from the southern border into cities deeper in the United States as they await processing, according to internal documents obtained by NBC News. In an effort to reduce crowding at the border, DHSâs Southwest Border Coordination Center would pay for transport to keep migrants moving into U.S. shelters in Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque, which were mentioned as some of the possible destinations. A DHS spokesperson indicated that the decision to move the migrants into cities was not final. âShould a decision be made, DHS will continue to closely...

I push boundaries. And try to bring together people who are different. I think conservatives should be proud of having some of the best ground breaking conservationists in modern history among their numbers (Teddy Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Margaret Thatcher and Arnold Schwarzenegger) St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne is currently doing the same by hanging an image called Gaia above the space occupied by the altar and the seats of the choir. Is this legitimate free expression by the cathedral? Or should this environmentalism have been stopped at the door? What would Jesus say?

Pro-choice group Ruth Sent Us hinted at targeting protests at Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett after the attempted attack on Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Ruth Sent Us specifically noted the Barrett family's daily schedule and the school her children attend.

One of the most difficult psychological transitions is facing hatred of self or loved ones by significant people in our lives. The challenge of admitting when we are hated makes it difficult to take steps to protect the vulnerable from that hatred. The normal mind projects onto others the degree of acceptance and respect that it naturally grants to others. The healthy mind must learn through unhappy experience when mutual acceptance and respect are absent. Therefore, it has been hard to admit that over time Democrats have succumbed to beliefs and policies based on hatred of us and our children....

Tesla just filed its annual proxy statement with the SEC and revealed it plans a three-for-one stock split, and that board member Larry Ellison does not plan to stand for re-election. Shares of Tesla were up by more than 1% after-hours having closed at $696.69 on Friday. In the filing, the company wrote of the proposed stock split, “Our success depends on attracting and retaining excellent talent,” and that “highly competitive compensation packages,” offering every employee an option to receive equity, helped Tesla to do that. “We believe the Stock Split would help reset the market price of our common...
