Large defence companies are already seeing their share prices go up as investors anticipate the impact of the war on profits. Thales shares have risen by 35% since the invasion, while BAE Systems shares are up 32%. Lockheed Martin has seen an increase of 14% and AeroVironment 63%.
"You might think you're handing over weapons to people you know and like, but then they get sold on to people you absolutely don't," she tells Sky News.
Mr Wezeman says weapons supplied to Ukraine "may end up disappearing into the black market" - an increased risk given that the country "isn't in full control of its territory".
He says it is difficult to keep track of weapons when they have to be supplied at such speed and there is a risk of them getting "lost or disappearing in the chaos".
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has also cited the danger of a nuclear war in his reluctance to supply Ukraine with heavy weapons like tanks and armoured vehicles.

The president of Raytheon (I think) basically said good times were ahead (because of the bodies piling up in Ukraine, I would have to surmise). And he was right.
Mr Wezeman says weapons supplied to Ukraine “may end up disappearing into the black market”
10% to the Big Guy?
According to this article, each reusable Javelin launcher cost $100,000 while each Missile costs $78,000.
So I guess the value of what this soldier in Ukraine is carrying is worth over $500,000? (video link below)
And it’s probably going straight to the black market.

$100,000 + $78,000 = $500,000 ?
This song is more pertinent today than in 1963. Then, we had a deadly serious International Comintern to deal with. We were in the battle for our very lives. Today these warmongers are only in the manufactured war business. We had zero reason to be in the Middle East for the last twenty years. We certainly had a lot business being there. Other than Bush/Raytheon/Biden, Inc., who benefitted from any of that or Operation Ukrainian Freedom now?
Nope, ($100,000 + $78,000) times three = more than $500,000.
Look at the video again, he is carrying more than one javelin
Well looks like 2 javs and one anti air? Which is probably worth more
And it's been bipartisan.
Or maybe I’m wrong and that’s one launcher (with missile in it) and two extra missiles. That would be...
$100,000 + 3 x $78,000
or about $350,000
Warmongers always profit.
They fear peace like most sane people fear war.
Enough of this Marxist nonsense. This war is not the creation of defense contractors. The Democrat-EU-Davos axis is using the war, and Zelensky, to advance its one-world agenda and weaken Putin in the process.

Fair enough, since your point is more valid. Specifically, RUSSIA MUST BE WEAKENED, or their Green Agenda is DOA - since Russia will simply sell cheap energy to the rest of the world (the countries not enough to throw-in with the West), while the West freezes and starves, wondering why their solar panels and oversized fans aren’t saving the world.
one strong dude, and
gotta be careful carrying $350,000.
Stingers are the weapon of choice for jihadists wanting to take down civilian aircraft. They are rapidly disappearing from Ukraine.
Our Congress specifically rejected an amendment for an IG to oversee tracking of all US hardware going to Ukraine. They don’t WANT accountability. They WANT more terrorism, to help destroy the US.
They are doing this all on purpose. And the dupes put yellow and blue flags on the8r profiles, saying “Go Ukraine!”
