An upgraded model of China's massive AG600 amphibious plane took its first flight on May 31, lifting off and landing at an airport in southern China's Guangdong Province. The latest model of the AG600 brings a new configuration and a higher maximum takeoff weight to the world's largest amphibious aircraft. Once fully operational, the AG600 would extend China's reach in the maritime-centric Pacific theater. The US military, which is increasing its own focus on Pacific operations, is also looking into developing aircraft with amphibious capability for similar uses.

How do you solve a problem like MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart? By considering leaving the United States. The Washington Post columnist published a column on Tuesday that he and his husband, Nick Schmit, are ready to leave the United States due to what he calls “crazy White people.” He cited the SPLC poll, which states that “nearly 7 in 10 Republicans surveyed agree to at least some extent that demographic changes in the United States are deliberately driven by liberal and progressive politicians attempting to gain political power by ‘replacing more conservative white voters.’” “What’s terrifying is that this twisted...

After a handful of Tampa Bay Rays players refused to wear rainbow-clad uniforms for Pride Night on Saturday, the only openly-gay active player in professional baseball said "discrimination and hate has a voice in baseball and you saw it in Tampa." "We have seen a lot of teams selling rainbow merchandise and doing Pride Nights, which is great, but they need to actually support their players," Bryan Ruby said of the situation in Tampa, which he called "sad and frustrating." "We get one night at the ballpark to be ourselves all year, and it just was an indication that a...

Joe Biden's Commerce Secretary admitted Tuesday that the administration can't do anything to help relieve the surging price of gas – instead placing the blame on Russian President Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine at the end of February. 'Unfortunately, that is the brutal reality,' Gina Raimondo told CNN when asked what President Biden can do to relieve Americans' wallets at the gas pump. 'You know,' Raimondo added, 'this is, in large part, caused by Putin's aggression. You know, since Putin moved troops to the border of Ukraine, gas prices have gone up over $1.40 a gallon, and the President is...

Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that he believed former President Donald Trump and others “conspired in a criminal way to overturn” the 2020 election and prevent President Joe Biden from taking power. Woodward said, “I think people are going to watch. They realize the stakes are our democracy and what happened. I’m am convinced, having spent part of my life on Donald Trump, that he and others conspired in a criminal way to overturn the election and prevent Biden from taking power legitimately.”

On the cusp of nonstop, around-the-clock (primetime!) coverage of the Jan. 6 committee hearings, a couple of domestic terrorists are actually getting their day in court, and it is informative to see how Merrick Garland's Justice Department is handling their prosecution. Recall Garland's breathless declaration, during his confirmation hearings, that "150 years after the Department's founding, battling extremist attacks on our democratic institutions also remains central to its mission." Colinford Mattis and Urooj Rahman were arrested in the "mostly peaceful" protests following George Floyd's murder. The two lawyers handed out Molotov cocktails to the crowd, and Rahman tossed one into...

Lawyers for the now-incarcerated mogul filed the suit in New York Supreme Court on Tuesday, claiming the car company provided him with an 'unreasonably dangerous' car in exchange for product placement in one of his films. Then when he was driving in suburban Bedford, New York on August 17, 2019, his 2017 his 2017 Jeep Wrangler 'failed to decelerate despite Weinstein's application of the vehicle's braking system'...

Rep. Eric Swalwell’s (D-CA) congressional campaign reportedly continued his spending habits by racking up nearly $60,000 on travel expenses on trips to Miami Beach, Florida, and Paris, France. In fact, the campaign’s $57,094 spending spree on travel expenses between April 1 and May 18 is only $10,000 less than the median household salary for Americans in 2020, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Uh oh! You just came across something incriminating about Hillary Clinton! Whatever you do, don't go to the press! They know everything anyway. Trust no one! Oh wait, you already blabbed to Jerry from marketing? Ugh, okay. Better be on your guard. Look for the following signs that Hillary has dispatched a team of elite assassins to hunt you down: 1) A piano drops behind you as you walk down the sidewalk: Could be a coincidence... 2) The burrito you were eating was somehow replaced with a stick of dynamite: At least it's spicy. 3) That Predator Drone has been...

Leo Tolstoy’s ‘War and Peace’ and other works that glorify the Russian military will no longer be taught in Ukrainian schools, Kiev’s ministry of education announced on Tuesday. Tolstoy’s internationally recognized masterpiece joins the list of 20th-century Russian books banned in Ukraine long before the current conflict. “All these will be completely excluded from foreign literature,” first deputy Minister of education Andrey Vitrenko said in an interview with the TV channel Ukraine 24. “So, for example, ‘War and Peace,’ this will not be studied in Ukraine anymore.” The ministry is still working on the final list of works by Russian...

The bulletin cites 'individuals who advocate both for and against abortion' who publicly 'encouraged violence, including against government, religious, and reproductive healthcare personnel and facilities, as well as those with opposing ideologies.' The high court scheduled an additional day of releasing opinions on Wednesday, with 33 decisions left in the current term until summer break. DHS also warned that 'domestic violent extremists' could use changes in the US-Mexico border enforcement system as a reason to carry out attacks against 'minorities and law enforcement officials' - just weeks after a judge blocked the Biden administration from lifting a pandemic-era expulsion policy...

I was waiting for this. America was promised a spectacle, complete with "Previously Unseen Material'! and "Revelations!" A former ABC News President was hired to produce the primetime television event of a lifetime. We were going to unravel the mystery of the effort to overthrow the government of the United States by a rag tag mishmash of commandos heavily armed with opinions. "The Public Will Be Shocked!""An Extremely Broad Conspiracy!" says Liz Cheney! Yeah, ok, a couple of things. democrats (including Cheney and Kinzinger) pretty much admitted that this is political theater, trying to yank the public's focus off of...

During the Monday episode of “Morning Joe,” the popular MSNBC host informed his audience that the AR-15 weapon is more powerful than the weapons used by America in Vietnam. Of course, that’s complete fiction and utter nonsense, but that didn’t stop him from lying again. Where the hell is Scarborough getting his information from? A simple Google search will tell you that the idea that the AR-15 is more lethal, powerful or deadly than the M16s used in Vietnam is downright laughable.

Americans forced into paying the cost of Biden’s economic war on Russia are about to be conscripted into service on a second front, as Washington confronts China over its treatment of its Uyghur ethnic minority. Effective June 21, the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act will impose a guilty-til-proven-innocent regime that bars all imports from China’s Xinjiang province unless businesses prove their products are not made with forced labor. A customs official said a “very high” level of evidence will be required. Though the law was passed almost six months ago, the Biden administration is providing U.S. businesses with little or...

Actor Matthew McConaughey appeared at the White House press briefing on Tuesday, endorsing a series of gun control proposals that coincided with some of President Joe Biden’s radical agenda. “As I said, this moment is different,” McConaughey said while appearing at the White House press briefing room. “We are in a window of opportunity right now that we have not been in before. A window in where it seems like real change — real change can happen.” McConaughey said he spent time with the victims and families of the mass school shooting in his hometown of Uvalde, Texas last week...

Steve Bannon, set to go to trial next month for defying a congressional subpoena, has subpoenaed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection as he builds his defense. Bannon, a conservative firebrand who previously served as former President Donald Trump's chief strategist and senior counselor, was charged with two counts of contempt of Congress in November 2021 after refusing to testify and produce documents. He has pleaded not guilty. Last week, Bannon's legal team subpoenaed 16 lawmakers and congressional staffers to testify at the July trial and produce documents, according to...

The military touts a "recruit’s market" that should attract fresh blood into its ranks as each branch faces recruiting shortfalls following the coronavirus pandemic. "In real estate, you talk about buyer's and seller's markets," Maj. Gen. Edward W. Thomas Jr., commander of the Air Force Recruiting Service, told Fox News Digital. "You know, this is a recruiting market right now. There are good opportunities to serve and good incentives to do so."
