HARRISBURG, Pa. — The cardiologist for John Fetterman, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania who is recovering from a stroke, disclosed Friday that the candidate also has cardiomyopathy, in which the heart muscle becomes weakened and enlarged. The acknowledgment was the first public comment by a doctor for Fetterman since the candidate first took to social media on May 15 to disclose the stroke. A retired NYPD cop was arrested by US Capitol Police on Friday after he was apprehended with a fake badge, a BB gun, body armor, high-capacity magazines and other ammunition near the Capitol building. This book is about thirty years old and it shines a light on what is happening today. Everything we see happening has been developing basically since at least 1850's. It's a pretty breezy read for a 360 page book and can probably be read in completion in an afternoon by most people. I do recommend reading it to get a better handle on the it.

Uvalde School District Police Chief Pete Arredondo reportedly did not have his radio on him when he arrived on the scene at the Robb Elementary School shooting, where 21 people were killed, including 19 children. That may have caused delay in Arredondo communicating with police dispatchers, according to the New York Times, citing a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation. He instead used a cellphone and called a landline for the district police telling the dispatchers the gunman had an AR-15. He then, incorrectly at the time, said that Salvador Ramos was contained.
