Pa. Senate candidate John Fetterman also has cardiomyopathy, doctor says

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The cardiologist for John Fetterman, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania who is recovering from a stroke, disclosed Friday that the candidate also has cardiomyopathy, in which the heart muscle becomes weakened and enlarged.

The acknowledgment was the first public comment by a doctor for Fetterman since the candidate first took to social media on May 15 to disclose the stroke.

In a statement released through the campaign, Fetterman’s cardiologist, Dr. Ramesh Chandra, said Fetterman will be fine if he eats healthy foods, takes prescribed medication and exercises.

Cardiomyopathy can impede blood flow and potentially cause heartbeats so irregular they can be fatal.

Fetterman, 52, easily won the Democratic nomination while in the hospital two days later, just hours after undergoing surgery to implant a pacemaker with a defibrillator.

Fetterman grew up in Central Pennsylvania in affluence. However, his agenda puts him squarely in the camp of left-wing loons like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders (whom he endorsed for president in 2016). He supports Medicare for all, a $15 minimum wage, allowing transgender athletes to compete in women’s sports, gun control, climate “justice,” and a “de facto moratorium” on fracking. Perhaps a greater political problem in today’s environment, he’s spoken at defund-the-police rallies and made a priority of releasing felons from prison. Then there’s the 2013 incident in which, as mayor of Braddock, he pulled a gun on an unarmed black jogger.

A fair prediction. The PA Supreme Court is a partisan Democrat operation.

Democrats cheat.

Really wondering about this whole situation. Each time there’s a statement from the Fetterman camp on his health, it’s from his wife, not a spokesman or a campaign figurehead. Given how awful the Republican side of the ticket is looking right now, he’s got a better than average chance of winning by running his campaign mostly through his wife’s Instagram account. It’s not just a disgrace, Fetterman is a socialist and a very smooth talking one at that.

Must not have gotten the placebo injection on the down low like all NBA, NFL, and MLB million dollar athletes, and like all well-connected deep staters and globalists and their families, all of whom are on the list to survive the cull.

There are different forms of cardiomyopathy, some more treatable than others. Also more treatable if caught early. It still won’t make him a less dangerous opponent for Oz or whoever wins the Republican primary.

He will be replaced after the deadline and no one will care because its the democrats. The courts will support the violation of the rules.

Or worse, he'll do a Carnahan and die a week before the election. Democrats will demand that votes for him still count, and if his dead body wins then the Democrats get to name a replacement.

The Constitution says that the Senator must be a resident of the state, but being a dead Democrat counts for current residency requirements.

If Republicans protest, the Democrats will go to court claiming the Carnahan precedent, even though Democrats fought to get Torricelli in New Jersey off the ballot while the election was still going on.

In other words, whatever the Democrats want, no matter if it breaks or sets precedent, becomes the new precedent, until the next time Democrats want something.
