Syracuse, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man was stabbed multiple times by a 68-year-old man inside a Burger King on Syracuse’s North Side Friday morning. Around 8:30 a.m., Lamar Anderson, 40, entered the Burger King, at 623 Butternut Street, and started a fight with a 68-year-old man, according to a news release from Syracuse police. The fight escalated and Anderson began punching the man, police said. Anderson also stole the man’s cane and began beating him with it, they said. A grand jury in Dallas County, Texas, indicted three police officers for allegedly assaulting protesters in the wake of the George Floyd murder. The grand jury handed down multiple indictments against two Dallas Police Department officers and an officer from the Garland Police Department, WFAA ABC8 reported.
