@matt_boose Mark Levin going on about how “America First” conservatives who oppose intervention in Ukraine actually “hate America”. Truly awful to see neocon shills try to co-opt the Trump movement.

The US deliberately avoided sanctioning Vladimir Putin's alleged mistress at the 11th hour over fears doing so would further inflame tensions with Russia. Alina Kabaeva, 39, is a former Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics, cover model for Russian Vogue and believed to be 70 year-old Putin's mistress by Washington insiders. She was in the sights of the US Treasury Department in the wake of her rumored lover's invasion of Ukraine in February - but dodged sanctions at the 11th hour after the National Security Council intervened, the Wall Street Journal reported. But officials in Washington believed that sanctioning Kabaeva would...

Paris (CNN) — Emmanuel Macron has won France's presidential election, fending off a historic challenge from far-right candidate Marine Le Pen during Sunday's runoff vote. Macron took 58.55% of Sunday's vote, making him the first French leader to be reelected in 20 years. He and Le Pen advanced to the runoff after finishing in first and second place, respectively, among 12 candidates who ran in the first round on April 10 While the contest was a rematch of the 2017 French presidential runoff, much of Europe watched the election with unease. A Le Pen presidency would have fundamentally changed France's...

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison declared on Sunday that a Chinese military base on the Solomon Islands would be an unacceptable 'red line', without adding how Canberra would retaliate, media reports said. Morrison's government and the US are scrambling to respond to a recently-signed security deal between the islands and Beijing, which they consider an 'aggressive' move, RT reported. 'Working together with our partners in New Zealand and of course the United States, I share the same red line that the United States has when it comes to these issues,' Morrison said. 'We won't be having Chinese military naval bases...

The headline to a Boston Globe story this week was an attention-grabber: “Family terrorized by golf balls wins nearly $5 million from neighboring country club.” My initial reaction was that of John McEnroe to a chair umpire when he got a ruling he disagreed with: “You cannot be serious!” A family with three daughters, ages 2 to 5, sued Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Massachusetts, “for trespass over the continual bombardment — and won a permanent injunction against golf balls on their property.” A jury awarded the Tenczars $3.5 million for damages and mental and emotional suffering. The Globe...

New York City’s worst public-health crisis is growing. No, not COVID, but deadly overdoses. OD deaths are up 78% from pre-pandemic levels, claiming 1,233 lives during the first half of 2021, a 28% spike over the same period in 2020.The city Department of Health blames fentanyl, since the vast majority of those deaths were tied to the powerful synthetic opioid, which is often used to cut other narcotics. More than a ton of fentanyl was seized statewide in 2021 (95% of it in NYC); in 2020, the NYPD found that some 80% of all heroin it tested contained the drug.Across...

The federal mask mandate on planes, trains, and public transportation never was about “the science.” It was about politics. No wonder then that U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle of the Middle District of Florida tossed the mandate in a 59-page ruling Monday. The Department of Justice will seek an emergency stay but in a way, it doesn’t matter. The toothpaste is out of the tube. Once you’ve told mask-resistant Americans they don’t have to fog up their glasses when they fly, it’s over.If the mandate had been about science, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would have followed the...

Harry may be under pressure to relinquish his dukedom – but there is no suggestion the Queen would strip him of it. She conferred on him the titles of Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel on his wedding day in 2018. Were he to give those up, he would revert to HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Meghan would become HRH Princess Henry of Wales. It comes after Trump released an audio recording that seemingly refuted an edited video clip that appeared to show him storming out of a sit-down interview with Piers. A 30-second trailer, released...

The month of May won’t be a merry one for Michael Sussmann, one of Hillary Clinton’s top lawyers at her favorite election law firm Perkins Coie, who is facing a criminal charge of lying to the FBI when he passed information to the Bureau’s general counsel, James Baker. Sussman stated explicitly that he was acting as a “good citizen,” not as a lawyer for Trump’s election opponents.Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. The tip was false. It described a secret, traitorous back-channel connection between candidate Trump and the Kremlin and included some “white papers” as “proof.” But that deceit is not part of...

OPINION:Arrests at America’s southern borders are surging, and the crisis is the worst it has been in decades. According to data released this week from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, border agents made more than 200,000 arrests along the border in March. That is the busiest month in the past twenty years. The United States has made more than one million arrests at the southern border since October 2021. That is the fastest pace of illegal border crossings in at least two decades. Things will likely worsen in the next month as the Biden administration is preparing to lift Title...

OPINION:In mythology, harpies are a race of half-human, half-bird creatures with pale faces and long claws who descend on prey as fast as the blowing wind. In these disenchanted times, we have, instead of those shrill hybrids, the liberal journalist.A good example is found in Washington Post columnist Taylor Lorenz. She recently used data gathered by a far-left activist named Travis Brown, whose activities are subsidized by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, to shred the privacy of an American citizen.OPINION:In mythology, harpies are a race of half-human, half-bird creatures with pale faces and long claws who descend...

Rising crime is emerging as a top issue for voters this year, adding another glaring political vulnerability to the Democrats’ ledger. A Gallup poll conducted last month found concern about crime at its highest level in nearly two decades, with 53 percent of Americans saying they worried a “great deal” about crime. Gallup found crime ranks as the third-most important issue among 14 tested, trailing only the economy and inflation. Republicans held a 15-point advantage when asked which party would handle crime better in a Fox News poll conducted this year—the highest partisan advantage in the history of the poll.While...

Rep. Scalise: Biden needs to stop talking to dictators and produce oil in America Our country’s economy has spun out of control.Across America, millions of families are struggling to pay for food at the grocery store, fill their cars up with gas, and cover the cost of their electric and heating bills; yet President Joe Biden is refusing to take any responsibility for the skyrocketing prices, and he’s doubled down on the radical agenda that caused this problem. In July 2021, Biden stated, "Our experts believe and our data shows that most of the price increases we’ve seen were expected...

It’s always fun to see how much the Never Trump folks reveal themselves and tend to shoot themselves in the foot. But when you look at a group that includes people like The Lincoln Project, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (RINO-IL), Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-WY), and Rep. Mitt Romney (RINO-UT), you know it’s going to be a never-ending font of hypocrisy. One of the funniest things is how they posture at being the “true conservatives.” Yet, they then throw in with Democrats — who are doing all they can to push us further to the left — effectively helping their agenda against...

You just can’t make this stuff up. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Joe Biden gets frustrated when his passions aren’t being heard and digested. Americans just aren’t smart enough to see how brilliant Joe Biden is and how wonderful his policies are for the country. “There are limitations that have been imposed upon him…[that] have not allowed people to see, at all times, what his magic is,” Psaki said to NBC News White House Correspondent Kelly O’Donnell on Wednesday.

Uber's decision to waive delivery fees from black-owned restaurants during the George Floyd riots could cost the company $91 million. A New York appeals court ruled this week that the ride-share giant must pay the costs to the American Arbitration Association (AAA), which is handling 31,000 claims against the race-based promotion, which users say violated civil rights law.Uber's terms of use provide that disputes with the company will be settled in arbitration administered by the AAA. The conservative litigation boutique Consovoy McCarthy PLLC under that provision filed demands against the company on behalf of thousands of customers.Roberta Kaplan, the Democrat...
